The camera feeds blinks on as Eddie is seen pacing back and forth in the yard outside of the barn. His dreads are currently tied back. He is wearing a Gray “Skulls of Grimm” t-shirt, a pair of three quarter shorts and a black pair of old work boots.
“You will have to bear with me, this could get messy! I have a few points I want to address. So I am just going to shoot with it.”
Still pacing back and forth on the shot, Eddie is seen going over his thoughts before he stops and looks at the camera.
“I think you might have misunderstood what I meant. I didn't in any way mean that you internally injured Garcia in your match. I am fully aware that injuries happen in the ring at times, hell I have had enough of my own over the years. As it goes, I would have been happy to injure Garcia and take him out of the picture, but that is the difference between us. I will do what I need to do to get the job done and win the match.”
Once again he starts to pace, before suddenly stopping and looking back at the camera.
“Xiaolong, it is quite this simple, if you want to stand a chance of winning the North American Cruiserweight Championship. Then you better be prepared to do whatever it takes. Let's face facts, you will have to find a way to either pin me, let me take a moment to remind you that hasn't happened yet in NPW other than you could try and make me submit, let's face it, I have shown That I am not the type to quit and tap out. Now it is beginning to look like your only option will be to knock me out cold to pick up the win. It is true that to a point I respect you, but that will not stop me from beating you into submission to win the match.”
A slight grin appears across his face briefly.
“I am ready to do whatever it takes to win that belt, unlike yourself, I will not have a morality issue about turning the match into a fight and beating you down, or even using the Ed Kick and taking your head off ready for the pinfall. I most definitely don't have an issue with using the Rear Naked Choke to pick up the win. “I have been saying since December that I will win that title. Don't care who I have to go through to win it or what I have to do during the match to pick up the win and hold that title above my head. At the moment you are in my way of becoming the next Cruiserweight champion. Trust me that isn't a good place to be in. “
Eddie turns away from the camera looking off to one side.
“I will say that we aren't strangers to one another. We have shared the ring once again. I believe it was a five-way match, with the winner receiving a North American Double Crown title shot. You remember the match, where you were outside of the ring flat on your back or kissing the floor. Anyway, that was the night that Donzig and Timeless decided to execute their plan and lay the foundations of the Empire. Xiaolong you have been warned to make sure you come prepared for the match. Try and beat me if you can, survive the match if I let you Anger me at your own peril.”
Turning back to the camera, Eddie rubs his hands together, while starting down the lens.
“Now Donzig and Timeless. I haven't forgotten about you two at all. You guys made sure you would make a statement in that five-man match back at Honor 9. Your biggest mistake though was doing it during that match and making a point of trying to embarrass me in the progress. I have forgotten about that match and how you guys managed to screw me out of the chance to wrestle for the North American Double Crown at some point. “Since then have watched as you have gained members and then focused all of your attention on the Bastards. The last time I looked at it the sides were uneven. I'm not best friends with the Bastards. I do respect my fellow countrymen. I will gladly even the odds if it means gaining a measure of payback against you Donzig and Timeless. At some point you two will have to pay the price for your action, It might be this event, or the next. It might even be six months down the road, at some point I will come looking for payback. You have been warned.”
Eddie turns and heads back into the barn, just as he reaches the door, he stops and turns his head back.
“Xiaolong, nothing personal if I injure you or end up sending you to the hospital. You won't be the first one that it has happened to! Oh one last thing, if you somehow manage to beat me in this match, just remember I will soon be knocking on the door for a rematch and I will be coming for that title even more determined.”
The feed stops as the barns door slams shut.
