[The camera pans the arena, as the fans stand and applaud a night of action that will undoubtedly deliver.]
Blake Samuels: "Ladies and Gentleman, Welcome to Crowning of a Champion III. Every single championship in Northern Pro Wrestling is at stake - as is the CWA World Heavyweight Championship."
RAAAAAAAAHHH!!
Blake Samuels: "It was December 2019 when Northern Pro Wrestling in conjunction with the North American Wrestling Council aired the 1st Crowning of a Champion. On that night, Oxford Osland won an 8 man tournament and we awarded the NAWC: North American Championship!"
[...]
Blake Samuels: "At crowning of a champion II - The Lethal Lottery would provide us with our first North American Double Crown Champion - "The Only Star" Eric Dane would survive the gauntlet and raise the newly christened championship aloft. History was made in both previous editions and I have no doubt we will witness history here tonight. So, without further ado, let's go to the ring."
--
The tron shows an ominous looking dragon raising it's head and then roars spewing fire and fire spews down the sides of the ramp and spews out of the ringposts as "Set the World on Fire" by Annihilator plays and Xiaolong appears and storms ringside jumping and leaping over the ropes luchador style. He rolls and kips up into a dragon stance ignoring the reactions and boos from the fans.
Markus Morin: Entering the ring at this time, he is Xialong!
The cameras start to circle around the arena.
"Outlaws and Outsiders" suddenly hit as the lights in the arena drop, with white lights begin to flash violently around the arena to the drumbeat.
The ramp starts to flood with smoke, as the words "Grimm Products" in white letters appears across the big screen.
A couple of figures appear in the entranceway, dressed in Jean's and a sleeveless Leather Jacket, slowly moving towards the edge of the main stage.
Within seconds they are also joined by two more people flanking them until a single figure rises up from the stage with his arms crossed.
Wearing black tights, the club logo on the side of the right leg and "Havok" down the left leg. Wear black boots with white shin protectors over the top them. Wearing a long leather jacket, with the club logo on the back.
A series of fireworks go off along the top of the entrance ramp.
The lights start to adjust back to normal. The single figure walks forward, with the rest flanking him as he starts to walk down the ramp.
[Ring Announcer]: ...
introducing at this time; hailing from Harlow, Essex, England…
weighing in at two hundred and thirty-seven pounds…
accompanied to the ring by the Skulls of Grimm!!
This is Havookkk!!!
Once he reaches the ringside area, he stops and raises his arms outwards and the other members slowly circle the ring stopping at each of the turnbuckles, looking out toward the crowd.
Havok slowly and methodically makes his way around the ring, bathing in the reaction of the fans within the arena.
Havok enters the ring standing with his arms raised and fireworks go off from the four turnbuckles.
Walking over to the furthest turnbuckle and climbs up to the middle rope, staring out across the arena attendance.
As his music dies down, he takes off his leather jacket passing down to one of the club members, before jumping down into the ring.
He waits near the corner, pacing back and forth ready for the match to start.
The two circle each other slowly, clearly feeling each other out befoe Xialong makes the first move with a few kicks thrown at Havok's side and legs. He drives him towards the ropes, and the ref goes to break it up. Havok glares at him, and Xialong smirks as he motions for him to bring it on.
Havok squares up, and the pair trade blows before Eddie grabs him to throw him hard into the ropes. Xialong comes off the rebound, rolling under the clothesline before he hits the ropes on the other side to come off at Havok. Eddie of course, leapfrogs over Xialong before he lands on his feet.
The fans pop, and the pair stare at each other with slow nods.
Xialong makes the first move, moving in to lock on a headlock that he uses to drag Havok around the ring. but Havok breaks free pushing Xialong into the corner. He charges in, hitting a hard splash before he backs off for another.
But Xialong leaps over the ropes, and grabs Havok's head to drive into the turnbuckle. Havok stumbles back, and Xialong leaps back into the ring with a thunderous dropkick that sends Havok sprawling to the mat.
The fans boo, and Xialong wastes no time going in for a quick pin. But Havok grabs him, rolling him up before Xialong rolls through for a pin of his own. The pair come part, Havok smirking as Xialong stares down at him.
Xialong fires off a kick at Havok's head, but Havok catches his leg as he rises. Xialong is caught, hopping in a slow circle as Havok keeps ahold of him as the fans cheer. And then Havok let's his leg go as he lunges forward with a clothesline!
Xialong is down, and Havok leaps over the ropes. Then he hits a springboard elbow drop, the fans cheer as he makes the cover!
1...
Xialong kicks out! Havok shakes his head, dragging him to his feet. Xialong had other plans, and broke away to drive a kick into Havok's stomach before hitting a DDT! The fans booed, and Havok was down before Xialong leaps onto the ropes to hit a moonsault off the middle rope!
Havok takes it across his back, and Xialong wastes no time locking on a half leg Boston Crab! Havok clearly in pain as his back is wrenched into a bow as he shakes his head at the ref. Xialong tightens the hold, pulling his leg back further as Eddie claws at the mat. Twisting to reach for the ropes.
The fans urge Eddie on, and he reaches for the ropes only to be yanked back. The ref stares down at him, but he swears and shakes his head before reaching out again. His fingertips locking onto the rope, and the ref calls for the break. He starts to count, but Xialong shakes his head yelling numbers at the ref.
He finally breaks the hold, menacing the ref who is holding up five fingers in a rage.
Xialong turns around, and Eddie is back on his feet. He limps forward, throwing punch after punch before he flings Xialong at the ropes. A running shoulderblock sends Xialong to the outside, and the fans love it!
Eddie runs back, and suicide dive!
The pair land in a heap, and the ref starts a ten count as Eddie is back on his feet. He grabs Xialong, punching at him before he drags him around the ring to bounce his head against the apron before rolling to the inside to break the count.
He comes back out, throwing Xialong at the barrier before he runs back to go for another running shoulderblock! Xialong moves aside, and Eddie crashes into it as the fans jeer. And Xialong fires a few stiff kicks into his back before he breaks the count, then he goes to the outside to throw Eddie into the ringpost!
The fans jeered, and Xialong leapt to the apron before crashing down on Eddie with a moonsault. Havok was looking to be in trouble now, and Xialong threw him back in the ring as the fans were on their feet.
Xialong smirks at Eddie, and leaps onto the turnbuckle before hitting the Flight of the Dragon!
The fans groan, and Xialong makes the pin!

HAVOK KICKS OUT! XIALONG CAN'T BELIEVE IT!
Xia is on his feet, holding up three fingers as he screams at the ref. The ref shakes his head, holding up two as Xialong pushes him into the corner. Eddie Havok is back on his feet, locking on the BLACK OUT!
'NPDUB! NPDUB!'
The ref drops to check on him, and Havok keeps the hold locked on as Xialong flails around trying to escape. The fans are cheering Eddie on, and Xialong looks to be trapped before his hand snaps out to grab the ref! He yanks him forward, dropping him across him and Eddie to break the hold!
The fans jeer, and Xialong crawls back to his feet with a hand to his throat. Eddie grabs him, nailing the Fall of Havok which leaves Xialong sprawled on the mat. He makes the cover, but the ref is still down!
Eddie fumes, and he gets up to smack the ref back to his feet.
Xialong glares, and grabs Eddie to hit a huge german suplex!
And another! And another! And another!
The fans jeer, and Eddie is down as Xialong smirks at him before he darts across the ring to hit the turnbuckle!
DRAGON SPINNER!
But the fans are on their feet as Havok rolls away, Xialong crashes down. He comes up holding his ribs, stumbling before Eddie wastes no time. He steps up, and hits the Ed Kick!
Xialong is down, and the fans are going wild as Eddie jerks him upwards before hitting the Fall of Havok! And he makes the pin!

2....
THREE!
Havok rolls off, shaking his head as he holds at his back before the ref lifts his arm!
Here is Your winner and NEW NORTH AMERICAN CRUISRWEIGHT CHAMPION: Eddie HAAAAAAVOOOOOK!
Havok raises the North American Cruiserweight Championship above his head, as the crowd serenades him with cheers. What a hard fought victory. Xiaolong has proven himself once again to be a worthy competitor. What a match!
[Cut.]
--
Blake Samuels: "What action, as Eddie Havok has more than proven himself to be one of the best wrestlers in the promotions. The runner up in the 4th Cruiserweight Cup has parlayed the momentum and is now a champion. Got to love it."
[...]
Blake Samuels: "Up Next, we have Two Old Bulls looking to hammer one and other. Ronnie Long Defends his Northern Openweight Championship against Dusty Griffith."
[Cut.]
--
These two men are from the same era and share similar outlooks when it comes to what's right and wrong in professional wrestling. Ronnie Long has been on a tear as of late, but recently feel short in a Champions dual to Jesse Jamester One could argue that Ronnie has done all he can to elevate the status of the Openweight Championship, as it is currently viewed as nearly on par with the North American Double Crown.
Northern Pro Wrestling must be doing something right to have secured the services of Dusty Griffith. A noted loner with the reputation for being extremely picky when it comes to his legacy and who he does business with... Dusty has proven he still has miles left to travel - as he's turned in dominating performances since returning to Northern Pro Wrestling late last year.
As one might expect, this one was certainly a HOSS Fight. Two big men with experience, power and savvy about to collide in the ring. Sometimes in these instances, all it takes is for one man to find a hole and use it to exploit a weakness.
Early on, both men were trading shots, hoping to weaken the other. Long had Dusty back in the corner where he was hammering away at him with some major blows. Undeterred, Dusty was able to reverse his fortunes quickly before lighting Long up with knife edge chops that could make anyone blush.
Long showed a strong chin and withstood the onslaught, and turned the tide his favour after catching Dusty with a running knee strike. Long crouched down, looking to hit Dusty with his LARIAT, but when he pushed forward, Dusty saw it coming, so he ducked, and hit Ronnie with one of his own.
RAAAAAH!!
Dusty picked Ronnie up, and without hesitation went for his patented Atomic Powerbomb!!
He got it all
Long hit the mat like a ton of bricks and looked to be out of it.
Dusty held for the pinfall.

RAAAAAHH!!
Here is your winner and NEW Northern Openweight Champion-- DUSTY GRIFFITH!!!
The official handed Dusty the Championship gold, and like he has done so many times in the past, Dusty took that ten pounds of championship gold and slung it across his broad shoulder. Dusty was very business like in victory. He took the time to salute the crowd that was behind him, before taking a small bow and exiting backstage.
[Cut.]
--
Blake Samuels: "I think its time I admitted that Dusty Griffith has been my favourite wrestler since we first crossed paths in Wrestle Coast: Cascadia. You see, back then I was an intern who was looking to make it in the wrestling business and I ended up getting tied up with one of the craziest wrestlers in the game - Aaron Vasquez. Well, Vasquez and Dusty were on a collision course, and even though I needed to remain loyal to my man 'Chico' - I always admired the way Dusty carried himself. I'm happy that he went onto become a major star in Japan, and now holds a piece of Northern Pro History."
[...]
Blake Samuels: "Two matches, and two title changes. WOW. Will we go 3 for 3? The North American Double Crown is up next!"
[Cut.]

Hollywood Couldn't have written a better story. The father/son relationship can be a very touchy thing, and especially when there is a level of absenteeism. Alex Turner had the happenstance to encounter young Julius Fristik in the hospital while they were both recovering from various injuries. Since then, Timeless has been using mind games to get in between Jesse Jamester and his son Julius.
Alex Turner won the opportunity to challenge for the North American Double Crown in December, and was now going to cash in that opportunity against his arch rival.
As one might've guessed, this match was hard-hitting and ultra personal. Jesse went right after his tormentor and spent the first two minutes of the contest hammering away at Timeless wit little regard for the rules of the match or the fact the referee was in his ear asking him to tone it down.
Roxy was at ringside, and she was doing her best to get inside the mind of the Murder Lizard. The NPW faithful have witnesses JJ in many wars over the course of his tenure in Northern Pro Wreslting. High impact matches with Eron Hunter, Keith Williams, Neo James Carner and Ronnie Long. The Great Northern War was built around JJ's conquest to take out The ReVenants, and inside that double sided cage, JJ and The Bastards were successful in doing so.
But this, this seemed so much more personal. But, you know what they say - if you're unable to control your emotions, you might end up doing things out of character and leave yourself exposed. Perhaps that's all the opportunity that the savvy and scheming Alex Turner would need.
As JJ continued to pour on the offence, Timeless was smiling for the better part of the beating. Almost as if he expected. Almost as if he wanted to show JJ he didn't fear I'm and that he had been through worse in his life.
A low blow behind the referee's back would turn the tide in Turner's direction, and after some smack talking and a fury of stiff strikes, it appeared as though the match was finally on even ground. Roxy was like Vanna white on the outside of the ring, pointing to her man and encouraging him to keep going, keep fighting, and to finally put an end to JJ's reign at the top.
Timeless was going to execute a Jesterplex, but JJ had it scouted, and went for one of his own...
But Timeless went out the back door and blasted JJ with a roaring elbow that caught him clean on the JAW! JJ stumbled and dropped to one knee...
Timeless looks around and blew roxy a kiss... JJ was up, and FALCON ARROW from Timeless!!!
He got it all!!

3!!
DING DING DING!!
Here is your winner and NEW North American Double Crown Champion... "TIMELESS" Alex Turner!
He did it! Finally, after early 18 months of claiming the title do be his, Timeless did it!
The fans were in shock, not expecting such an abrupt ending to the match.
Roxy yanked the title away from the time keeper and rolled into the ring to present the championship to her man! The new Top Dog in Northern Pro Wrestling!
Timeless then picked Roxy up, put her on his shoulder like a knight in shining armour and paraded her around the ring as she let the Championship gold be seen by all! Roxy laughed and pointed at the fans as Timeless continued to parade around the ring.
WHAT A MOMENT!
The fans were upset, but it might only be because Timeless kept telling them 'I told you so, I told you so'.
[Cut.]

Blake Samuels: "You know, Alex Turner has always claimed to be the heart and soul of Northern Pro Wrestling. The highest paid athlete on the roster. As much as I hated hearing it, I knew it was true. I snuck a quick peak at Gus' black book, and yeah... Turner wasn't;t lying. One could argue that Alex Turner's decision to leave SWAT and join NPW was the catalyst for the major success we've had over the past two years. Now, after a lot of hardwork and a lot of trash talk - Alex Turner has proven to be all he has ever said he was. "The Best."
[...]
Blake Samuels: "A changing of the guard here, as 'Timeless' has finally reached the pinnacle and nobody can take that way from him."
[...]
Blake Samuels: "Will we go 4 for 4? The greatest tag team to compete in NPW will defend their championships against The Empire... and that is happening RIGHT..NOW!"
--
The pyros hit, and 'Take it easy, Chicken' blasts across the arena as a rather banged up looking Ford Cortina rattles from the back, and the fans are cheering as it grinds to a halt. The doors bang open, and Windsor gets out with a long look over the crowd before he reaches inside to produce the NPW Imperial Tag Team title which he holds in the air.
The fans lose it.
Rob Riot gets out the driver's side, and he holds his title up as well before the pair tap the belts together. Then they head for the ring.
Markus Morin: This match is scheduled for one fall! It is a last man standing match under tornado tag rules for the Imperial Tag Team championships! Entering the ring at this time, they are the reigning and defending Imperial Tag Team Champions!
Rob Riot! Frank Windsor! They are the Bastards!
The fans cheer as the Bastards hand over the belts, stalking around the ring to check the ropes. And then Morin looks towards the ramp, and the fans fall silent.
And then flames burst from the stage, and the lights dim as 'Empire' by the Hollywood Undead washes across the place. Sinclair Godfrey walks out first, smirking at the crowd which is already starting to jeer. She lifted her arms, spreading her coat behind her before she looked over her shoulder.
Steve Awesome walked out first, already shrugging out of his long furred coat. He glared at the ring, jerking off his sunglasses before motioning at his waist with a stare at the Bastards.
Donzig followed, the King in the North clearly already in a rage as his masked face glared at the crowd. He pointed a finger at the bastards, and then reached up to tug off his mask. He handed it to Sinclair, and nodded at Steve before he started to storm down the ramp.
Steve muttered, shrugging to Sinclair before he followed after him.
Markus Morin: Their opponents entering the ring at this time! Accompanied by Sinclair Godfrey! Representing Empire!
Steve Awesome! Donzig!
Donzig flings his coat off, storming up the ring stairs to get in the face of the Bastards. He yells at them, pointing and jabbing a finger into the chest of Rob Riot. Steve stares, as though wondering what he was getting into.
Frank had enough, and shoved Donzig back with a few shouts of his own. Waving a finger at him as Steve climbs inside. And the ref calls for the bell, and Donzig shoved Frank back with a snarl.
Frank slapped him across the face, and Steve winced.
And then the pair started to throw punches, moving back and forth in a wild brawl before Riot ran at Steve! Steve took a step back, hitting a huge drop kick that sent him sprawling. The fans were already going wild, and Steve ran at Rob as he rose.
But Riot grabbed him, hitting a big spinebuster that! Frank and Donzig were on the mat, punching and battering away before Donzig rose with a glare cast at the rising Steve. Steve shrugged, and Rob grabbed him once more before he hit a DDT! Awesome was down again, rolling from the ring to be checked on by Sinclair.
Riot watched Frank get to his feet, and then pointed at Donzig. The Scourge bared his teeth, and charged in with a string of curses. Riot threw up his arms, blocking the wild barrage of punches. Windsor ran in, grabbing Donzig for a belly to back suplex that brought the crowd to their feet.
Riot smirked, and stalked forward with ill intent as the ref was on two! Donzig was starting to stir. But Steve leapt onto the ringpost from nowhere and came off with a huge crossbody! The fans booed as Riot was dropped, and Steve came up with fists in the air before he drove a kick into the gut of Windsor.
Windsor doubled over, and Steve came off the ropes to hit a huge axe kick! Windsor was down, and Steve looked around wildly before he ran to jump onto the turnbuckle. The fans booed, and Steve motioned for one of the Bastards to rise as the ref counted.
Riot was on his feet, and Steve ran across the top rope to come off with a diving leg drop that sent both men to the mat!
Sinclair Godfrey shoved a chair under the ropes, and Donzig snatched it up. He slammed the end of it against the mat, staring at Frank before he came in swinging!
The fans booed, and the chair cracked hard across Frank's head before Donzig came in again with a hard charge with the chair to knock Windsor to the outside! The fans booed, and Donzig tossed the chair before he leapt onto the ropes.
He balanced for a moment, and Steve stared before Donzig dove off with a huge elbow!
The place exploded despite itself, and Donzig staggered to his feet with his hand on his arm as he roared at the crowd. Cursing and swearing before he fell against the barrier, waving Sinclair away as he twisted his arm.
Inside the ring, Steve was dragging Riot upwards before he was shoved backwards. Rob hit a belly to belly suplex, and the fans cheered! Steve came to his feet, shaking his head before Riot ran forward to drive a kick into his spine! The Face of the Franchise was in pain, and Riot dragged him upwards for a Standing Code Blue!
The fans chanted Riot's name, and the ref started to count out Steve!
Riot looked sastified with himself, before he saw Donzig staring at him from the outside.
Donzig climbed back inside the ring, chair in hand! The fans went wild, and Riot charged in to drive knees and punches into Donzig's head and back as he battled his way into the ring. Riot grabbed him, yanking him through the ropes before he was caught with a hard jab from the chair to his gut.
Riot staggered back, and Donzig cracked the chair across his spine before he held it in the air!
'A KING IN THE NORTH!'
The fans booed, and Steve pointed at Riot before motioning at the ropes.
Donzig grunted, and laid the chair across Riot's back before he drew back. Steve ran across the ring, leaping onto the ropes before he came off with the WRATH OF THE DRAGON! He fell forward, grabbing at his ankles as he rolled around in pain.
Riot was a twitching heap, grabbing at his back as he tried to rise as the ref started to count! Donzig shrugged, and then ran at Windsor to crack him with a knee as he came through the ropes! The fans jeered, and he grabbed Windsor for a draping DDT!
The fans jeeered, and Donzig flipped them off before he walked across the ring to haul Steve to his feet.
Riot was holding his back but was on his knees, shoving the ref back as he grabbed at the ropes. Steve tried to haul Donzig back, but the Scourge was wild as he ran at Rob breaking the count at 7! He gouged and clawed at Riot, ripping his head back to bite at his eyebrow before Riot lifted a hand.
He yanked on Donzig's hand, twisting his fingers as he forced them apart as Donzig swore and tried to get back. Then the fingers were snapped apart with a crack, Donzig grabbed at his hand taking a few steps back.
Steve gaped, and Riot held at his back before he grabbed Donzig to fire off another Standing Code Blue! But this one dropped Donzig to the mat outside the ring as Steve backed up, staring between the two Bastards!
'HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!'
Frank Windsor shook his head, glaring at Steve. Riot held his back, limping before he looked at Steve with a smirk. Steve looked panicked, and then he charged at Windsor before he leapt to plant his boots in his gut! He came off with an AWESOME-SAULT on the charging Riot, and the fans were again chanting.
'HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!'
Windsor was furious of course, and he ran in to start firing stiff punches at Steve. Punch after punch that rocked the Face of the Franchise forward, then he was fired at the corner with a clothesline! Steve came off, staggering backwards before he was caught with a BRADFORD BOMB!
The place exploded, and Steve was down as Riot was leaning on the ropes.
Donzig rose from nowhere, breaking the count at 8 it seems. He grabbed Rob, running at the corner from the outside to snap the bigger man's head into the turnbuckle. Then he came across the ropes to run at Windsor.
Punch after punch, before he drew back to dodge a wild swing from the big bastard.
STUNNER!
The fans jeered, and Riot came barreling in at Donzig.
STUNNER!
The fans booed, and the ref pointed at Steve as he kept counting.
STUNNER!
The fans were not all happy, but some started to chant 'A KING IN THE NORTH!'
Donzig stared around wildly, looking around before his eyes narrowed on the rising Steve! And he charged in, his foot snapping upwards before Steve dropped backing towards the ropes.
Donzig tilted his head, and tugged at his beard.
Sinclair rolled inside of the ring, grabbing the ref to slap him awake as she looked at the slowly stirring Bastards as Donzig stormed around the ring. He was cursing and swearing, eyes wild as he flipped off the crowd. He snagged a chair slamming it against the mat, and he ducked into the corner waiting for the Bastards to rise.
Riot was up first, breaking the count at 6! And Donzig charged in, chair swinging before Riot grabbed him for a huge spinebuster! The place exploded, and a chant of 'BASTARDS' thundered down as Donzig arched his back as he rolled about.
Windsor was up, snagging the chair as he glared at Steve! Steve looked at Donzig, then Sinclair before he shrugged! And as Windsor came in with the chair, he leapt into the air to drive both feet into the steel! Windsor staggered back, chair dropped as he grabbed at his face as Steve posed.
Riot came in, grabbing Steve to fling him across his shoulders for the Riot Rack! The fans were on their feet, and Steve was in trouble. Sinclair Godfrey however had other ideas, then she stepped forward with a snarl before unleashing the Black Mist on Rob Riot!
He dropped Steve, grabbing at his eyes as he staggered back with a yell. Sweeping his hands around wildly, throwing a few punches. Donzig wasted no time, spinning Riot around to hit the 25:17 onto the steel chair!
Riot was down, and Donzig grabbed Steve before pointing at the turnbuckle! Then he ran at Windsor, hitting a running knee lift on his face before throwing him at the ropes! The pair tumbled outside, and the fans were chanting.
'NPDUB! NPDUB! NPDUB!'
Steve was on the turnbuckle, and then leapt off with another WRATH OF THE DRAGON!
The fans booed, and Riot coughed as he grabbed at his ribs.
Meanwhile, Donzig and Windsor crashed across the barrier to start brawling through the crowd. The two greatest brawlers in NPW seeming intent on destroying each other as they shoved and threw punches across they fought through the fans.
Inside of the ring, Awesome looked to secure the finish, but Riot saw a running knee coming, he ducked, grabbed Awesome and executed a RELEASE DRAGON SUPLEX! But he dumped Awesome from the ring, through the ropes and Awesome took a major fall to the outside!!!
Donzig and Windsor continued to battle, not seeing Awesome in distress on the opposite side of the ring.
Riot went up to the top rope... FROG SPLASH from the top rope down to the arena floor!
HOLY SHIT
The referee started to count.
The fans were clamouring. Donzig noticed, and tried to get back to the ring area, but Windsor was holding him back.
Riot held his knee, but knew he went all out to secure the victory.
Danzig was panicked, trying to make the save, but to no avail... The referee was able to count to ten before Steve Awesome could get back to his feet. WOW. What an effort from The Empire, but The Bastards retained.
DING DING DING!!
Here are your WINNERS and STILLLLL Imperial Crown Tag Team Champions--The BASTARDS!
Windsor made his way over to Riot, and the referee handed them their championship belts. A measure of revenge had be exacted, as The Bastards once again showed that they are the best tag team in the world today!!
[Cut.]
--
Blake Samuels: "The Bastards are the best tag team to ever compete in NPW - I'm convinced. They have proven it since they signed their contracts and they clearly have no intention of slowing down. What a match!"
[...]
Blake Samuels: "Donzig and Steve Awesome have nothing to hang their heads about. The rare a true force in professional wrestling and I could see bing top challengers, if not the first CWA World Tag Team Champions."
[...]
Blake Samuels: "Well folks, we're ready for tonight's main event. Chris Card vs. Jay Stevens for the World Heavyweight Championship."
[Cut.]
--
Arguably the two best wrestlers in the world were about to clash in what was expected to be a match built around technical mastery. Chris Card has stayed a who's who of top wrestlers since joining the CWA ranks, and will now put his championship on the line against the second generation superstar - and the winner of the 4th Cruiserweight Cup - Jay Stevens.
Jay used a moment where all eyes were on him to call his shot, and make the biggest challenge of his life. Gus Arnold agreed that he should represent Northern Pro Wrestling as the next challenger to the CWA championship. The fans were equally split behind both men as far as support was concerned. The NPW faithful had watched Jay on his journey. Starting out as an eager young boy, finding his voice every step of the way, and watched him grow and evolve into a top talent within the promotion in two years. For those who followed him before that, they've stayed the course knowing that it was only a matter of time before Jay would be face to face with an opportunity like this one.
Chris Card is a Canadian Hero, and while his antics and strategies are often scrutinized, the Canadian fans seem to turn a blind eye and respect Card regardless of what others may say. Chris Card would have to consider the fact that Rob Riot had all but ensured him that he would be watching this bout with the mind to be the next challenger after his opportunity was taken from him by a bottle of pepper spray.
As these two warriors dove into each other for their initial collar and elbow tie up, the arena roared with approval. Finally, this match was underway, and these two would hold the crowd in the palm of their hands throughout.
It became clear early on that Stevens was going to be right in Card's face all match, and the moment wasn't going to be too big for him. Card took control early on and as he mentioned, would be ready for the catch wrestling style that he had seen over and over.
The fans cringed when it looks like Card has Stevens bent every which way other than that nature intended. We could hear Jay yelling in agony, as Card continued to use leverage to synch in an arm lock even deeper. Jay would summon the energy of the crowd to fight, and find the proper escape, which he was finally able to orchestrate after a few failed attempts. Jay was able to get back to neural position, before sending Card into the ropes and then surprising everyone by executing a nice spine buster.
Card hit the mat hard, but would raise his head, smirk, and get back to hit feet once he realized Jay was going to follow it up, and would use the time to shake his arm free to get feeling back.
Card got to his feet bounced off the ropes and then stopped in the middle of the ring and watched as Jay was ready to strike. Card laughed, touched his temple to show he's a thinker which got a laugh from the fans. Collar an elbow was next, and Card flipped Jay onto his back and connected with a low leg lariat to the back of Jay's head.
WHACK!
Superkick to Jay in a seated position!
1..
2..
NO!
Card stayed the course, mounted Jay and laced into him with some open hand strikes from top position. Jay did his best to roll with the punches, and kept his hands high to deflect and block as much as he could. Card reared back from behind his head for another shit but the distance allowed Jay to slip his leg out, and simultaneously hip escape, and sweep Card!
Jay showed excellent ground awareness and acumen with that counter, and now he had a hold of Card's arm from top position. He leaned back, and looked to hyper extend Hunter's elbow with a cross arm breaker!
It was in tight!
Jay has finished matches this way...
Card shakes it off, saying he doesn't have it all the way.
Card wiggled, and tried to stack Jay but Jay powered out of it, and held onto the arm. Card was squirming, in obvious pain. Luckily, Card was able to clasp the bottom rope with both feet, and let the referee know that he had been able to do so. The referee forced the break
Jay had been wrenching on Card's arm for nearly six seconds before he was able to finally use the ropes. Card tried to shake his arm back into form, get the blood flowing in all of the proper ways. As he was doing so, Jay ran in and kneed Card in the gut, which folded him forward. Jay wrapped Card's arms, and lifted him to the sky, and fell downward with a butterfly Suplex Driver!!!
1...
2..
NO!
Close call, but Card was able to kick out.
Jay thought he had it there, and made it clear the official that he thought his count was a little slow. The referee brushed off the critiscim. The crowd then started to rally behind Card, they'd seen him nearly lose the match twice, and his support groups was starting to feel on edge.
Jay pushed forward, but was met with a euro uppercut, and a second, before Card stood tall and blasted Jay with a LARIAT!!
Card turned Jay inside out with a nasty lariat. He got all of it.
1..
2..
NO!
Jay once again was able to get his shoulders off the mat before the referee would count to three.
The fans were willing Jay to continue the fight, while Cad's contingent was telling him to stay down!
[Let's go Jay!]
[Clap Clap Clap Clap Clap.]
[Let's go Card!]
[Clap Clap Clap!]
[...]
Card ran forward with his boot extended, looking to make contact, but Stevens side stepped it, and rolled him up from behind.
1..
2..
NO!!
So close. The spur of the moment reversal nearly won Stevens the match. Card's eyes widened, even through his mark we could sense that he knew he was lucky to have been able to get his shoulders up in time.
Card was up first, surprisingly and ventured to keep the offence going, but Stevens fired up, and caught Card in the chops flush with an uppercut, open handed strike. It seemed to have rung Card's bell, as he looked stunned initially, which is where Stevens quickly used the second rope for more force and dove off with a clothesline of his own, that knocked Card to the canvas.
Stevens was trying to gather himself, and needed that spurt to regain composure and do his best to fight his way forward to secure his life long dream. The fans were doing their part to encourage him to keep fighting. As Card crept back to his feet, Stevens could be the first to strike, as he executed a perfect dropkick, that sent Card through the ropes and onto the arena floor.
RAAAAAAAHHHH!
[Ohhhhhhh.]
Stevens hit the ropes, and used his body as a weapon by diving through the top and middle rope with TOPE SUICIDA!
[Let's go Stevens!]
[Let's go Card!]
Stevens got back up on the apron, ran the line and leapt off and landed a perfect diving elbow drop to the sternum of Card. While he couldn't make the cover, he knew he was starting to even the odds of the match, and as it hit the ten minute mark, one could argue that he propelled himself to the lead.
Stevens rolled into the ring, and broke the count. Not wanting to win it via count out, he knew that wasn't going to silence anyone or prove who was the better man. The pinfall or submission win would be the only way for the title to change hands.
Stevens then rolled Card back under the bottom rope, used the top rope to slingshot himself inside one more time, and landed a stiff leg drop! More aerial attacks from Stevens as he continued to pull out all the stops
1..
2..
THNO!
Card was able to get his shoulder up.
OHHHHH!
The fans thought he had him there. Card showed great resiliency and ring awareness to power out of that cover as he wasn't able to reach the ropes.
Stevens looked into the stands, which brought the crowd to their feet. It was as if the audience was ready to jump the guardrail at a moment's notice to help in anyway possible.
Jay did mis-step, as he brought Card back to his feet looking to execute more offence, but Card snuffed it out, and ended up getting Jay with an exploder suplex!
WHAM!
RAAAAAHHH!!!!
Out of nowhere.
Card circled, picked Stevens up forward russian leg sweep! Card followed it up with a nasty running knee lift. Cover!

2..
NO!!!
Close Call. Card looks art the ref, picked Jay up by the hair...
SLAP! by Card
SLAP in return from Stevens

BOOM!
Card strikes.
Stevens Stikes.
Card.

Card falls back into the ropes, Stevens pushed forward, Irish Whip, swing from Stevens and a miss, Card hits I'm with a ROUDHOUSE KICK!
Stevens slumps down... it's over!
1..
2..
No!!!
SO close.
Card picked Jay up, and went behind to lock him in a cobra clutch! It's in! He's got it synched in...
Nowhere for Jay to go..
Will he tap?
...
He's fading...
Card is holding on tight...
Jay walking forward.
Down to one knee now... Jay is fading. The referee checking on him...
RAAAAAHHH!!
Jay is back up to his feet...
Walks forward, using ring awareness, uses both feet to push against the turnbuckle and flips backwards, turning the cobra clutch into a pin!

OH MY GOD.
He got it!!
DING DING DING!
Here is your WINNER and NEW Continental Wrestling Alliance - World Heavyweight Champion -- JAY STEVENS!!!
RAAAAAAAHHHH!!
The fans are on the their feet, some in shock, some in tears.
Jay Stevens has done it!
Card looks shocked, but quickly realizes that the position he was in was nearly impossible to kick out of. Just so happens that his arms were locked underneath, and no leverage to force Jay off or get his shoulders up in time. Just one of those things.
The referee hands Jay the CWA World Heavyweight Championship!!
[Dusty Griffith.]
[Nicole Anderson.]
They're at ringside in support. They roll into the ring and post Jay up on Dusty's shoulders! WOW!! What a moment.
Card gives a short applause, before rolling away and letting the party ensue. No shame in losing here, as these two men are both at the very top of the wrestling game.
The show ends with Jay on Dusty's shoulders with the World Heavyweight Championship over his shoulder.
[Fade Back.]
[Cut.]

Eddie Havok vs. Xiaolong
--The tron shows an ominous looking dragon raising it's head and then roars spewing fire and fire spews down the sides of the ramp and spews out of the ringposts as "Set the World on Fire" by Annihilator plays and Xiaolong appears and storms ringside jumping and leaping over the ropes luchador style.

Northern Openweight Championship
No Time Limit
Ronnie Long (c) vs. Dusty Griffith
--These two men are from the same era and share similar outlooks when it comes to what's right and wrong in professional wrestling.

[Cut.]

Blake Samuels: "Two matches, and two title changes. WOW. Will we go 3 for 3? The North American Double Crown is up next!"

North American Double Crown
No Time Limit
'The Canadian Nightmare' Jesse Jamester (c) vs. 'Timeless' Alex Turner
--Hollywood Couldn't have written a better story.
1..
2..

Imperial Crown Tag Team Championship
No Time Limit
The Bastards (c) [Frank Windsor & Rob Riot] vs. Empire [Donzig & Steve Awesome]
--The pyros hit, and 'Take it easy, Chicken' blasts across the arena as a rather banged up looking Ford Cortina rattles from the back, and the fans are cheering as it grinds to a halt.

CWA World Heavyweight Championship

Chris Card (c) vs. Jay Stevens
--Arguably the two best wrestlers in the world were about to clash in what was expected to be a match built around technical mastery.

2..

2..

2..
NO!!

2..
Cover!

Stevens slumps down... it's over!
