We open to a large oak desk with the Canadian Commonwealth and Canadian Heritage Championships folded neatly side by side. As the camera pans back, we see Northern Pro Owner Gus Arnold sitting in a leather chair with his hands clasped together in front of him. Today, he's not alone.
The owner of The North American Wrestling Council, and financial backer to Northern Pro Wrestling; Matthew Saunders stands behind Gus and to his left. As the scene finally settles, Gus begins to speak.
Gus Arnold: "Thank you all for joining us here today. End of Days Week 2 is now in the books, and I want to thank our fans over in Korea for creating an amazing atmosphere for our athletes to compete. As many of you know, The Main Event was mired with controversy, and I'm here today to address the direction Northern Pro Wrestling as we move forward. What was set to be a generational clash of epic proportions has now been the talk of the wrestling world for all of the wrong reasons. I'm here today to take full responsibility for this, as I allowed a certain someone to sway my interests in their favour in the weeks prior to the event, which ultimately caused the chaos that is amongst us today."
"While I could sit here and rehash the events that took place - Instead I'll encourage everyone to go and watch the event on the XHF Network."
Gus pauses for a moment to gather his thoughts.
"With that being said, I made the impromptu decision not to award either champion with their respective Championships once the official decision had been rendered. While I might've acted on Impulse in the moment, I'm here to announce that I am going to uphold my decision to keep both the Canadian Commonwealth and Canadian Heritage Championships in my possession."
Gus shares a knowing glance with Saunders, who is looking ever so official in his three piece suit.
"You know, before Northern Pro Wrestling made the decision to join the XHF Network, we were firmly entrenched in the North American Wrestling Council. The 'NAWC' much like the XHF, is a network of individual regions who operate solely, but share a set of Champions. In that format, it also allowed for the Champions of Northern Pro Wrestling to prove themselves against some of the worlds best athletes from all parts of the globe."
"The Canadian Heritage Championship was defended in the United Kingdom is December of 2019 when Crown Jewel Wrestling was the host of the Anniversary Celebrations Supercard. Gordon Carlson won the Canadian Heritage Championship in the Deep South when he defeated Gentry McCray as part of a broadcast which was instituted by The Gulf Coast Grappling Club. And of course, we've watched the Canadian Heritage Championship be defended in multiple provinces throughout Canada."
"The Canadian Commonwealth Championship was defended in the Midwest, as part of a joint venture with Midwestern Pro Wrestling in 2019. Most recently, Eric Dane defended the Championship in Mexico against Oxford Osland at Night of Champions. And of course, we all just witnessed the last defence which took place in South Korea."
"While we are incredibly proud of our company's global footprint, with the roster to back it up - Our Focus is and will continue to be on our home continent of North America. With that said, Mr. Saunders and I have had lengthy discussions about the evolution of Northern Pro Wrestling and it's future. We've decided to use the events at End of Days to spur on new branding, and a new vision."
Matthew Saunders moves the Canadian Commonwealth and Canadian Heritage Championships off of the desk, and places them into individual silk coverings before locking them up in dual Haliburton briefcases. That's not all, as the Financier of Northern Pro Wrestling reaches into a 3rd Haliburton and removes an absolute stunning Championship Belt and places it front and centre on Gus' desk. The camera zooms in Gold Plate and it's inscription, which reads:

North American Double Crown
Gus Arnold: "The North American Double Crown represents both where Northern Pro Wrestling has been, and where it's headed. We will always respect the lineage from the two respective Championships that are now official merged. That's right, the Canadian Commonwealth & The Canadian Heritage Championship have now merged."
Gus circles back.
Gus Arnold: "At the heart of Gordon Carlson's challenge to Eric Dane was the desire to prove who the best man is. Had the Title for Title Main Event at End of Days ended with an unquestioned winner, perhaps we wouldn't be making this announcement. The situation being what it is, Mr. Saunders and I believe that this is the best way to proceed in Northern Pro Wrestling."
Gus clears his throat.
Gus Arnold: "Now what does all of this mean you ask? I'm glad you asked. I am here to officially announce a Lethal Lottery Tournament which will take place between now and the end of the year. The Lethal Lottery will feature all of the stars of Northern Pro Wrestling, as well as a few wildcards who reside outside of the promotion. The winner of the Lethal Lottery Tournament will become the North American Double Crown Champion."
Matthew Saunders reaches down, and opens up a leather briefcase. Saunders opens it, and we see that it is a briefcase full of greenbacks.
Gus Arnold: "The winner of the Lethal Lottery will also be $250,000 Dollars richer."
A short pause for effect, ensuring the viewer has had an opportunity to digest all of this.
Gus Arnold: "Round 1 of The Lethal Lottery will consist of a random draw where wrestlers will be placed into a tag team with another competitor, where they will be challenged by another team which was also paired at random. There will be 10 Tag Teams, 5 Tag Team Matches, where the 10 wrestlers who were successful will move onto Round 2. The 2nd and final round of the lethal lottery will take place in 'Royal Rumble' format. Wrestlers will draw a number at random, which will be their placement during the Rumble match. The last man standing, will be the NEW and 1st North American Double Crown Champion and will win $250,000.
