Sherlock was on the mic first, and said it was time for I-69 to challenge for the North American Tag Team Championships. They had spent the better part of the past year ensuring that the top prize in the business stayed around the waist of Osland – and it was now time for them to reap the benefits of their hard work.
This brought Tyson Brewer and Brinley Bishop out. The fans roared in approval at their presence. Bishop stepped forward and immediately accepted the challenge. Bishop said he had been waiting to put a stop to I-69’s shenanigans since last March when they put him out of action, and cost him his opportunity to become the North American Champion. Tyson Brewer stood alongside of Bishop, looking intimidating, and seemingly growing frustrated with the fact that Sherlock and Joseph put his partner on the shelf before the duo became a team.
Allan Joseph took the mic from his partner, and reminded Bishop that he wasn’t the only man that they put on the shelf – and to try and find Kenneth Marshall ‘walking’ anywhere. Joseph said that they targeted Bishop’s knee in the past, and warned him that they would do so once again.
Tyson Brewer took an aggressive step forward, ready to put his hands on I-69 right then and there. Bishop talked him down, and said that they would make a statement by defeating them convincingly, and sending them back to the end of the line of contenders.
The crowd responded favorably, as the championship match had been agreed upon.

Singles Match
15 Minute Time Limit
Jackson Evans vs. Leon Van Zandt
--
Jackson Evans made the challenge, and Leon accepted. A few weeks back, a misinformed Jackson Evans thought it would be wise to bully the unassuming newcomer in the backstage area. What followed, was an absolute humbling. Jackson Evans has the reputation for big leaguing a lot of the talent in the back, as the expectation is that he’s one major performance away from breaking through, to become a major player in the NAWC. He has challenged for both singles championships in NPW, but come up short on multiple occasions when the moment mattered most. Suffice it to say, he thought it would be wise to take his frustrations out on ‘The Professional.’
Evans proved that has hasn’t been doing his homework, as Leon Van Zandt comes to Northern Pro Wrestling with a serious pedigree on an international level. Leon’s venture in the KINGS of Sport tournaments throughout the years have earned him the respect of his peers in Japan and all over Europe – while the close minded Evans clearly wasn’t privy to the fact that Leon Van Zandt could easily be the most dangerous man in the promotion.
Jackson Evans was game to the challenge, and put up a challenge in this contest in the early going. But it wasn’t to be. Leon showcased elite level grappling, and was able to out maneuver Evans on the ground when the sequence brought them there. Evans did his best to mount offence from the bottom, but Leon transitioned into a dominant position with ease. Leon was able to lock Evans up in his patented Sugar Hold before Evans was the wiser – a few moments of pressure, and Evans was forced to tap.
Winner: Leon Van Zandt via The Sugar Hold (6:33)
After the match, Willard Manchester entered the ring to raise Leon’s hand. Manchester then could be overheard imploring the NPW Locker Room to step their game up, and challenge the man he brought to shake things up. Manchester said that this was only the beginning, and that Leon Van Zandt was on his way to becoming the biggest name in Northern Pro Wrestling.

[Backstage.]
[Bloodline.]
Esteban Fuentes brushed his long flowing locks from his brow, and started to cut a promo. His words were slow and calculated – but the message was clear.
Fuentes said that Mayorga and Ortega were tired of doing Delgado’s bidding as their own behest. Fuentes mentioned that Delgado felt that there wasn’t opportunity for the Bloodline mindset to succeed in Northern Pro Wrestling, and was going to be fielding offers from promotions in South America. It was becoming clear that the promises that Delgado made about opportunities in A*P – were designed to secure his position – but would have little to do with the long term success of Mayorga and Ortega.
That was when Mayorga approached him about mending fences. Fuentes said that they are all from the same generation – and that this would be the era for them to shine on their own accord, ‘free’ from the directions of anyone. The leader of this version would be the man who emerged, and earned it through his successes.
Mayorga stepped forward and assured the wrestling world that Bloodline was ‘real’ – and that this movement was something they ought to fear. Mayorga said that there is no bigger name in the NAWC than Dusty Griffith – so that is why he was the first target. Mayorga informed the Wild Bronco that it was nothing personal – and they challenged him to come and get his revenge, because they would be waiting.
[WHAAAAAAM]
The Wild Bronco was in fact in the house, and was within earshot. Dusty had all three members of Bloodline bumping all over the hallway, as he was able to get a step on them in this encounter. A nasty hellfire lariat from the Wild Bronco turned Mayorga inside out. Fuentes begged off, and could be heard calling for security to come and break up the melee – but not before Dusty body-slammed Ortega down to the concrete floor.
It was here that NPW officials got in between Dusty and Fuentes, and prevented any further damage from taking place. Gus Arnold was also in tow, and did his best to talk Dusty down.
Dusty asked Gus for a 1 on 1 match against Esteban Fuentes on the next show – to which Gus agreed to. Gus then reminded Dusty of the numbers game, and how he would be taking on a huge risk battling Bloodline on his own. Dusty brushed it off, and said he wouldn’t allow fear to hold him back – and that he believed in doing what was right. It was here that Dusty agreed to back off, and settle the score in the ring at Gus’ request.

Tag Team Match
15 Minute Time Limit
The Evanston Express vs. Irwin Collins & Rudy Palmateer
--
The Evanston Express once again showcased an edgier level of violence in this match. The most impressive part of this whole scenario was their ability to isolate Collins for the entire match without allowing him to make the tag to his partner. For seven minutes, Collins took a beating – and with each passing moment – the duo from Evanston seemed to be admiring their work.
The match was capped off Powerbomb/Reverse DDT combo, which completed the squash, and earned them another victory. In the post match – The Evanston Express formally challenged The Shining Stars to a match for the Imperial Crown Tag Team Championships.
Winners: The Evanston Express (7:09) via Powerbomb/Reverse DDT Combination.

Main Event
North American Tag Team Championship Match
30 Minute Time Limit
Pressure Point © vs. I-69
--
The audience watched with great intent as this grudge match was finally set to take place, and the add fuel to the fire – the North American Tag Team Championships were on the line. Wayne Sherlock and Allan Joseph have proven to be effective in the ring, and out. The fact that they put Kenneth Marshall on the shelf with a knee injury speaks to the level of violence that they’re willing to bring to a situation. You could argue that it was these actions that have kept ‘Technical Authority’ on the sidelines in 2020.
Brinley Bishop clearly hasn’t forgotten the fact that it was I-69 who conspired with his former friend Oxford Osland to ‘take him out’ of the North American Title picture. Add to the fact that it would be Jon Smith who recruited Pressure Point to come to his aid in restoring order at NAWC’s Elimination Games – as Well as Anniversary Celebrations. The fact that this rivalry has been simmering for the past four months and was about to come to a head, was enough to draw a sell out crowd to the event tonight.
The match itself was hotly contested from the outside. I-69 looked the part, but they just couldn’t seem to combat the physicality of the champions. The fact that Brinley Bishop had extra motivation to ‘lay it in’ served his team well. In a bit of an ironic twist – Tyson Brewer worked this match with a distinct ‘fire’ that stemmed from the history that Bishop had with Sherlock and Joseph – and it would be Tyson Brewer’s efforts in this match that continuously tipped the scales in their favor.
As one might expect, Oxford Osland made his way to ringside to get a ‘closer look’ at around the fifteen minute mark. He stood in front of the time keeper’s table and was seen threatening the poor official. In the ring, Tyson Brewer was setting Joseph up for a Jacknife Powerbomb – but Osland jumped up on the apron to distract the referee from being in position to count to three. The fans suddenly started to stir.
GRAYSIE PARKER!
WHOOOOOOOO!!!
Graysie grabbed Osland from behind and yanked Osland down from the apron. It took Osland a second to realize what was going on – and before he knew it Graysie had him in locked up and she executed a beautiful over head release suplex that sent Osland crashing into the guard rail. Graysie approached slowly, looking down at the former North American Champion. Graysie told Osland that he should ‘watch his mouth’ – stemming from the comments Osland made recently about her mentor Eric Dane.
Back in the ring, the chaos was consuming the competitors, but the champions stayed on task. A Nasty Sitout Powerbomb by Brewer onto Joseph was enough to finish the match, and earn the champions their first successful title defense as North American Tag Team Champions!
Winners and STILL North American Tag Team Champions – Pressure Point (17:22)
--
The show ended with Osland seemingly begging off from Graysie on the outside. I-69 were gathering their thoughts inside of the ring, and looked terribly upset about the opportunity that was squandered.
Pressure Point took a moment to soak in the adulation from the crowd, as the referee presented them with their respective championship belt.
