Our show got underway with Willard Manchester coming to the ring with a mic in hand. Willard started off by questioning Gus Arnold's decision to send Gordon Carlson to overheated. Willard said that he was the more logical choice because he had experience travelling through North American, defending the North American Cruiserweight Championship. Willard listed Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Ontario and Nova Scotia as the locations for his successes.
Willard said that he has the pedigree to back up his words, and he was willing to take it one step further. Manchester said that he was hearing a lot of buzz about the August on the Atlantic Supercard, and he was set to issue an open challenge to ANYONE in Canada to come to the event to meet him inside of the ring. Manchester concluded by saying he was take this up with Gus, who has proven to be very connected throughout his homeland, and ought to be able to bring someone who was worthy of this type of opportunity.

Tag Team Match
20 Minute Time Limit
The Shooters Club (Fredericks/Romance) vs. Les Rois Francais (Ouimet/Desjardins)
--
In the opening bout of the evening, we were treated a tag team showcase by The Shooters Club. Their intensity has ratcheted upward recently, and it might have a lot to do with seeking scorned by one of their own. Fredericks has always been considered one of the very best cruiserweight competitors in North America, and carries himself as the defacto leader of the unit. Lance Romance might serenade you with a poem or two, before he brutally beats you down - but that's just how he prefers to handle himself.
In what turned out to be a squash - Fredericks ended up locking Desjardins up in a texas cloverleaf submission, and it didn't take long for him to tap. As Ouimet entered the ring to break up the submission, Lance smashed him with a nasty super kick.
As the referee was raising their hands, they couldn't help but turn their attention to the ringside camera, and cut a short promo on their former teammate - KUMA.
Winners: The Shooters Club via Texas Cloverleaf (2:54)

[Henri Bryndisarson]
The man with all of the power in NPW was once again coy in regards to his plans for his golden opportunity. Henri said that he would enjoy watching those who came 'oh so close' to winning, do their best to showcase themselves.
Henri completed his short monologue by insinuating that when he was ready to make his decision, it would impact the trajectory of Northern Pro Wrestling going forward. Henri said he expected to be wrestling at August on the Atlantic, where he would further cement himself as a player in Northern Pro Wrestling.

[There was an update on Eric Dane's condition after the attack put on him by Oxford Osland & I-69]
[One of the physicians in Nova Scotia that works closely with NPW provided an update on the condition of Eric Dane's knee. The doctor said that there is a lot of scar tissue that would need to be scoped and treated, but any sort of procedure would sideline Dane for the foreseeable future. Against doctor's orders, Dane has opted to postpone surgery, so that he would be able to defend the Canadian Commonwealth Championship in three weeks time against Oxford Osland at Night of Champions.]
[The camera pans back.]
[Aaron "Chico" Vasquez.]
[Vasquez seemed very interested in understanding exactly was going on as it pertained to Eric Dane's situation.]
[While Vasquez didn't execute the attack with Osland and I-69, he did set it off by protecting himself earlier in the evening, which lead to him blindsiding Dane in the backstage area.]
[We cut from the scene with Vasquez seemingly deep in thought.]

Singles Match
20 Minute Time Limit
Gabriel Blight vs. Andrew Brookes
--
This bout would go along way in determining future opportunities within the company, as both men were relatively new, while also both having strong showings at the Battle Royal. Brookes made an impact about a month ago, as he inserted himself into Gordon Carlson's business, and essentially helped establish trust between Carlson and Erickson.
The match was very evenly fought in the beginning stages. Brookes relied on blurring the line of what was legal to earn advantages over Blight, who seemed content to let his wrestling skill dictate his success within the match.
As the match wore on, you would have to describe it as dead even. The referee started to grow less enchanted with Brookes' desire to bend the rules, and started to admonish him for his efforts to earn unfair advantages. As it turned out, this would be Brookes' undoing, and would certainly give him a legit argument to request a rematch.
Blight was looking to take Brookes over with a sunset flip, to which Brookes sat down and grabbed hold of the middle rope to hold Blight down. The referee saw it, and kicked the ropes, forcing it to be released from Brookes' hands, allowing Blight to complete the move, and earn a bit of extra momentum when Brookes flipped over. Blight held the pin just long enough for the referee to count to three.
Winner: Gabriel Blight via Sunset Flip (9:12)
Post match, Brookes asked the referee if he had gone mad. To which, the referee stood his ground, reminding Brookes that he was the one who wasn't following proper protocol. Brookes acted as if he was going to exit the ring, before turning around and rushing the referee. Brookes blistered the unsuspecting official with a nasty running clothesline.
Gabriel Blight was on the outside of the ring, gathering himself - when he saw the attack take place. Blight rolled into the ring, and seemed prepared to continue the fight with Brookes if he were up to it. Brookes relented, but not before shouting a few obsenities while inferring that Blight only won the match because the referee inserted himself in the contest.
--
Once the chaos subsided, Blight asked for a mic, where he cut a promo about how he believed he was on the cusp of big things in 'NPW'. After a few moments of motivational talk in regards to his future - Blight asked Gus Arnold to put him in a match with Henri Bryndisarson at August on the Atlantic.

We watch as Malek Fredericks and Lance Romance approach their former stable-mate - Kuma. Kuma knows he took a major risk when he decided to branch out on his own over the past few months. He knew his former 'Shooters' Club members weren't going to make it easy on him.
Fredericks reminded Kuma that he was eliminated early in the battle royal because he forgot who his friends were. Lance piped up, and said that he and Malek had been talking about it, and they were willing to let bygones be bygones, and welcome Kuma back into their group and forget all of this had happened.
Kuma took a few moments, before respectfully declining.
This is when the 2 on 1 attack started, as one would expect.
[Dusty Griffith.]
The Wild Bronco must've been monitoring the situation, as he decided that he had seen enough, and entered the fray to even the score. As time progressed, Dusty and Kuma seemed to be getting the better of The Shooters Club. Officials eventually did their part to separate the four men. As the camera panned back, we were left with Dusty and Kuma, where we could overhear them discussing what had just happened.
Dusty spoke up and said that he had given Kuma's offer some thought, and while he wasn't necessarily in the market for a tag team partner, he admired Kuma's girt and determination. Dusty then extended his hand and said he would welcome an opportunity to tag with Kuma going forward. The young Canadian Big Man was over-joyed. This lead to Kuma saying that the two of them should challenge the Shooters Club to a tag team match at August on the Atlantic. Dusty agreed, and we watched as the two of them headed to Gus' office to make their proposal.

Lee Stevens vs. Zeze Taborda
--
A clash between two budding superstars with strong pedigrees outside of Northern Pro Wrestling, and who are looking to use this opportunity the catapult themselves to the top of the marquee. Taborda seemed more interested in showing up Stevens early in the match, and his tactics seemed to work. Whenever Stevens tried to lock up, Taborda would tease it, before pulling away and taunting Stevens.
Taborda claimed to be the victim of a conspiracy, and that he was partying too much on the eve of the last event, which is what held him back from winning the battle royal. Safe to say, he has't exactly endeared himself to Gus Arnold, or the NPW faithful. In the moment, he was doing his absolute best to get under the skin of his opponent, and seems to enjoy every second of it.
Finally Stevens had enough, and hunted Taborda down, even chased him around the outside of the ring, where he finally got his hands on him. The brawl was on, and Stevens had a lot of pent up frustration after having been made to play the fool.
Taborda showed that he was game, and fought back outside of the ring with more confidence than one might've assumed based on his appearance. The referee did his best to ask the two men to bring their battle into the ring, but to no avail. It was as if both men were purposely blocking out the referee's intersections with the mind to get 'one up' on the other.
Stevens was able to reverse an irish whip from Taborda and send him into the steel post. A small cut opened up over the eye of Taborda. The feeling of the blood trickling down, was enough for Taborda to go full barrel back at Stevens, as he was able to take him down, and in the process find a dominant position and blast away with a few stiff shots.
The referee inside of the ring went to the outside, looking to gain some control. Once he realized that the idea of a technical wrestling match was gone, he called for the bell, declaring the match a no contest.
That didn't stop Taborda and Stevens from continuing their fight. Taborda launched Stevens over the guardrail. Taborda climbed the steel steps, and in a great feat of athleticism, launched himself from the steps and cleared the guardrail while taking Steven's out with a diving shoulder tackle.
Taborda then picked up a steel folding chair and was looking to swing it with all of his might - but the referee reached over to pull it out of his hands before he could use it. The mere fact that this was the next course of action that Taborda felt necessary, was enough to insinuate that Taborda is willing to go to great lengths in these confrontations to gain and edge.
While Stevens may not have realized it in the moment, the referee saved him from injury. Stevens then double legged Taborda, and landed some strikes. The referee called for some assistance, and within moments, five referees were in the crowd, pulling these two men apart.
Gus Arnold took to the stage, and said that since both of these men seemed intent on fighting all over the arena, that Gus was willing to sanction a NO DQ, Falls Count Anywhere Match at August on the Atlantic. Gus said that would be the more fair and adequate scenario for these two to settle their score.
Result: NO CONTEST
