Day two of August on the Atlantic kicked off with the Imperial Crown Tag Team Champions; Bloodline making their way to the ring. Esteban Fuentes walked slightly ahead of Santiago Ortega and Manuel Mayorga, symbolizing the fact that he was leading the way for the group. Feuntes has proven to be quite the competitor since arriving in North American back in 2018, and has all of the traits of a natural born leader. His foray into the tag team division has been nothing short of amazing, as Bloodline retained the championships against two very formidable teams on Night 1.
Once in the ring, Fuentes rehashed Bloodline's dominance since it's inception. Feuntes said that he believed that they were the most powerful and dangerous group in Northern Pro Wrestling, and the championships that they were sporting around their waists proved it. Fuentes said they would welcome any challenge, and felt that he and Mayorga would be able to overcome it. Fuentes said that tonight was Ortega's night. Fuentes said that Ortega has been very patient over the past few months, biding his time for the perfect opponent and opportunity to get back into the ring. The opponent of his choosing, is Lynx.
After the way Lynx stuck his nose in Bloodline business two weeks ago, it was an easy decision Fuentes remarked. Fuentes said that he and Mayorga would be at ringside to ensure that the match went smoothly, and that the referee was doing his best to make sure that there wasn't any outside interference....
Ortega stepped forward and cut a promo in Spanish, calling Lynx a little put, and then switching to english to reiterate the fact that Lynx was going to feel pain tonight.
The socially distancing crowd on the beach cheered, as the masked man who has spent the last few years travelling the world and honing his skills rushed through the curtain.
[Lynx.]
He wasn't alone either. As Lynx made it half way down the ramp, he looked back, and Gordon Carlson emerged from the back. Carlson was clearly there to lend support to his friend, and reciprocate the favour that Lynx offered a few weeks back when he stood in for Carlson against Bloodline. Moreover, it was clear that Fuentes and Mayorga decided to stay at ringside to cause chaos and tilt the odds in their favour.
Lynx hit the ring in a flash, and trotted his way into the middle, looking primed for a fight. Carlson remained in the corner, but shouted a stern warning in Fuentes' direction that he wasn't going to tolerate any shenanigans.

Santiago Ortega vs. Lynx
--
Lynx wasted little time in getting things started, as he took the fight right to Ortega, refusing to give into Bloodline's intimidation tactics. Ortega found himself bouncing all over the ring, and feeding into Lynx's attacks from all angles. A top rope missile drop kick from the masked hero was an early highlight. When Manuel Mayorga feigned like he was going to get up on the apron to cause a distraction, Gordon Carlson was there to flex enough to make him think twice.
Inside the ring, Lynx showed very little signs of slowing down, and it appeared as though he was going to be able to kick things into overdrive at any point. However, he mistimed a diving cross body attack, as Ortega was able to side step and execute a desperation super kick that caught Lynx flush on his way down. Suddenly, the match was at a stand-still. As Ortega started to shake the cobwebs, he put the boots to Lynx on the mat. A toe punt into the ribs, followed by several stomps near the upper torso and neck area followed.
Lynx's pain tolerance is the stuff of legend, so it was going to be interesting to see how he responded from these heavy shots that toed the line of being illegal. When the referee was admonishing Ortega, Mayorga got in Carlson's face from the side of the apron, allowing Fuentes to lunge into the ring and blister Lynx with a few stiff right hands while he laid prone on the canvas. When Carlson saw this happening, he decided it was time to settle the score. Carlson walked around to the Bloodline side of the ring and started to blister Mayorga with heavy shots. This approach was effective initially, but Fuentes would blindside Carlson with a nasty yakuza kick, before pounding away on him from the top position.
Bloodline were once again using the numbers to their advantage, as they had done so often in their NPW run. Ortega was in full control inside of the ring, and he taunted Lynx by forcing him to watch as Mayorga held Carlson's arms behind his back and Fuentes looked to deliver heavy shots while Carlson couldn't protect himself.
That was Until Carlson executed a slick go-behind and pushed Mayorga into a right hand from Feuntes. Fuentes was livid, and ended up catching a nasty Lariat from Carlson which laid him out. The fans were rocking, as Carlson pointed at Ortega, telling him that he was going to be next. The slight break in concentration allowed Lynx to break free and blister Ortega with a nasty spinning heel kick. When Ortega got back to his feet, was able to connect with his Gosha Sanga running DDT. The impact was heavy, as Ortega's head spiked the canvas. Lynx rolled him over, and got the three count.
Winner: Lynx via Gosha Sanga (11:35)
--
We watched as Bloodline assembled on the outside, and thought better of continuing to battle any further. Carlson rolled into the ring and stood next to Lynx and raised his hand high as the crowd cheered. Lynx waited until the three members of Bloodline had vacated the area, before high diving Carlson, and heading to the back as well. This is where Gordon Carlson asked for a mic.
Gordon said that those who watched Night 1 were aware that he had issued a Title vs. Title challenge to 'The Only Star' Eric Dane. Carlson reminded the crowd that he had asked Dane to show up at the event tonight to either accept and deny his challenge face to face. Gordon said that he was ready for Dane's answer, and he invited him to come to the ring to settle things.

[Orion - Eternity (Chillout Version) hits and Turner struts down the aisle, glaring at the crowd with contempt and disgust. They pop big time for the arrival of the XHF and former SWAT superstar. Roxylishus stops to interact with one of the crowd, then wretches and turns away heading to the ring, she gets up on the apron and holds the ropes down for Timeless.
[Roxylishus grabs the mic and passes it to Timeless.]
Timeless: I got passion in my pants and i aint afraid to show it.
Crowd: "I’M, SEXY AND I KNOW IT!"

[Another eye roll.]
Especially when it looks like only one of you has the stones to appear. Seriously though, I look forward to seeing what the pair of you can do, should this match take place. If it does, I plan to have a front row seat.
[The crowd start boo’ing and screaming at Timeless, and Roxylishus starts throwing popcorn at them, small handful at a time.]

[Mic drop and Timeless and Roxylishus move to two front row seats waiting for them as the crowd are half enraged, half in awe in anticipation of what will come next.]
Gordon is in complete shock that someone that he hasn't had the privilege of knowing just walked out on his turf and totally stole his thunder. Timeless made this moment about him and his arrival in NPW, and there still was no sign of Eric Dane. Gordon watched as Timeless and his main squeeze exited up the ramp, as the shot faded to the backstage area.

Gus Arnold walks over to Tyrone Walker who is finishing up some last minute preparations for his North American Cruiserweight Championship defence. Gus asked Walker if Eric Dane was going to be there for the event, to which Walker said he didn't know. Walker said he hadn't heard from Dane since Night of Champions and just assumed that he was going into battle tonight of his own.
Gus seemed worried about this response, as it would be unlike his top champion to completely no-show NPW's biggest event of the summer. Something wasn't right, and Gus couldn't put his finger on it.
We watch as Gus removed his cell phone from his pocket and appeared to by dealing it. It would appear as though he was looking to get ahold Eric Dane to locate his whereabouts.

We watch as Liam Beesley approaches Willard Manchester. Liam does his best attempt to get Manchester's attention, but the reception is chilly. Manchester finally turns around and tell Liam that he wants to go at this alone. Manchester threw in a jab as well, stating he thought Beesley didn't want to fight anymore and all he wanted to do was train other athletes.
Beesley said that he is always ready to fight, and that included right then and there if Willard didn't watch his mouth. The tension subsided when Manchester realized that Beesley was serious.
Manchester said that he was going to remind everyone that he was the best Cruiserweight in the World, and when he defeated Solomon Graham, he would be the next challenge for Tyrone Walker's championship.
Manchester got his cue from the stagehand, and walked towards the curtain.

30 Minute Time Limit
Willard Manchester vs. Solomon Graham
--
Manchester was the first man out, and awaited the arrival of his opponent. Before long, Solomon Graham made his way towards the ring to a hero's welcome. Graham accepted Manchester's challenge two weeks ago and was effectively making his NPW debut. Graham was clearly the fan's choice to emerge victorious, but it would a tall task against the former leader of FIGHT:UK.
The contest itself was a technical wrestler's dream, as both men are masters of the mat, and clearly lean on their technical skill and submission prowess to win their fair share of matches. Solomon had an answer for Manchester early and often, and it seemed to frustrate the british bruiser, as he hadn't given Sol enough credit for his craftsmanship on the ground heading into the contest. There are very few men who could roll with the likes of Willard Manchester and live to speak about it, and Sol appeared to be one of those anomalies.
Sol reversed a go behind and executed a nice german suplex hold and earned a near fall early in the contest. The sequence of events caught Manchester off guard, and Graham hadn't nearly scored the pinfall. Manchester did rake Graham's eyes when he had the option to do so, and the referee didn't see it. This allowed Willard to execute a few stiff strikes to the body while Sol was indisposed.
The major theme of this contest was that as the match wore on, Graham was able to do just enough to continuously frustrate Manchester into making small mistakes. As the mistakes mounted, Graham could sense that Manchester was starting to break. Powered by the crowd that roared behind him, Graham used their energy, and his savvy ring generalship to always be a step ahead when it mattered.
The respective abilities of each wrestler was only heightened by the fortitude of the other, and it would be Solomon Graham's ability to escape from deep waters at around the fifteen minute mark that seemed to finally break Manchester's spirit. As Manchester swung widely to earn back some ground, Sol was able to use slick head movement to step aside and capture Macneshter's right arm, before powering him over with a nasty head and arm throw, to which Sol fell right into a pin. The referee was in position and made the three count.
Winner: Solomon Graham via Head and Arm Throw/Pin (16:13)
--
The referee raised Sol's hand as the place roared with approval. We watched Manchester rolled out of the ring with a defeated look about him. His body language was terrible for a man who once stood atop the food chain in the Cruiserweight Rankings. But now, he was struggling to remember just how dominant he once was. When Manchester pushed through the crowd, he didn't look up or make eye contact with anyone.
Waiting for him at the top of the ramp was Liam Beesley. After his repeated attempts had been constantly rebuffed, there he was once again to console a man who was fighting to get away from him. This time, however... Manchester accepted Beesley's gesture in friendship before the two of them walked to the back.
In the ring, it was all about Solomon Graham.
Graham requested a mic, at which point he said he would have his eyes on the main event, and that the winner could expect to receive a challenge from him in the near future, as he believed he could use this momentum to earn himself a championship match at a later date. The crowd agreed, and Sol took once last bow, before tossing the mic down and exiting the ringside area.

Gus Arnold still seems to be trying to get ahold of Eric Dane, when Marcus Smith approaches him. Marcus' father and Gus have a long history as business associates, and life long wrestling industry powerhouses.
Gus wished Marcus luck in the match with Walker, citing that Walker was cagey and with loads of experience. Marcus said that win or lose, he would be better off having shared the ring with a Hall of Fame like Tyrone Walker. Gus agreed, but also shared that Marcus may want to consider working some tag team bouts going forward like his father and uncle used to. Marcus said he would give it some thought, but for now it was all about tonight and the North American Cruiserweight Championship.

North American Cruiserweight Championship
30 Minute Time Limit
Tyrone Walker (c) vs. Marcus Smith
--
The stakes were high, as Hall of Famer and Original Team Danger member Tyrone Walker would make yet another walk towards an NPW ring to defend the Championship he won at the Cruiserweight Classic in February of this year. Walker has had a storied career, and engaged in many battles with Marcus' father in the territory days of the World Wrestling Alliance. Marcus knew that this would be a career defining moment for him, as he has been on the cusp of a major breakthrough for the past three years in North America and the UK - not to mention various stops in the land of the rising sun. Smith is battle tested, but has become more accustomed being the bridesmaid in these situation and never the bride.
It started off with a third place finish in the inaugural Cruiserweight Classic, A Third place finish in the Imperial Tag League, a runner up in the Canadian Heritage Championship Tournament, as well as falling short in the Crowning of a Champion tournament in 2018. After a semi-final appearance in the PURE-1 Super tournament, Smith seemed to be turning a corner, as he fell to eventually winner Big Bullard who was a man twice his size. If he were capable of hanging with some of the best wrestlers in the world at any weight class, perhaps this final opportunity at becoming the king of the cruiserweights would be his destiny.
The two men waged war and the fans loved it. Walker was playing by the rules throughout the contest which was unusual for him, but it was likely due to the history between himself and Marcus' father.
The first ten minutes of the bout were razor close in offence and defence. Walker seemed to be gaining momentum, but he couldn't but Marcus Smith away. At around the twelve minute mark, it was as if Marcus was able to kick it into overdrive and could see the finish line within his grasps.
After a nasty stalling brain buster from Smith - he hit the top rope and came off with a beautiful flying elbow drop that landed perfectly across the sternum of Tyrone Walker. Smith held for the cover, and the count... and we had a new Champion.
Winner and NEW North American Cruiserweight Champion -- Marcus Smith (13:42)
As the referee presented Marcus with the championship, he was treated by Ty Walker who offered a handshake. Walker respected Marcus and his father for their contributions to the world of professional wrestling. Ty eventually slid out of the ring and allowed the new champion to have his moment.
Solomon Graham emerged at the top of the ramp and gave an honest round of applause to the new champion - but also sent a message that he had his sights firmly on Smith and it would be only a matter of time before the two of them locked horns.
