Day 3 of the Cruiserweight Cup was set to be the grandest yet. Three of the four matches were sudden death, and would shape the final four of the tournament. We all knew that Jay Stevens had qualified through to the final four, but who would join him? Speaking of Jay Stevens, he would wrestle his 'godfather' Tyrone Walker - in a rematch of the semi finals of the 2nd Cruiserweight Cup which was held in January of 2020. Chris Cavanagh and Niko would be fighting for their respective spots in the semi-finals, in what should be an epic battle and contrast in styles.
The North American Cruiserweight Champion; Lord Domincus is st to wrestle 'The Dropkick King' Adrien Cochrane in a match that could headline in any area throughout the world. Two legends, both vying for an opportunity to raise the coveted trophy at the end of the tournament. The final qualifying match will be between Gebin who represents FIRESIDE. Gebin has been nothing short of breath taking since agreeing to compete in the tournament against the returning, Eron Hunter. Both men have proven that thy are willing to put themselves at risk in order to gain an advantage against their opponents. Talk about excitement, we have it in spades!

This match had so many layers of both past, present and future sprinkled into it. Tyrone Walker has always felt that he could defeat Jay Stevens, because he believes that he has passed on everything that he knows. Jay believes that while this is true, he has picked up some of his own unique skills on his own. After a barnburner of a match during last year's tournament, in which Walker had his hand raised after capitalizing on a small mistake Jay made to score the deciding pinfall before advancing to the finals where he wrestled Eric Dane Jr. Yes, even Eric Dane has offspring out in the world.
This year, Jay made strong eye contact and stood tall throughout the opening pleasantries. This year felt much different, as Jay Stevens has done nothing but elevate himself, through nothing but hardwork and determination. When there were opportunities to ask for help, where many assumed he would enlist the services of his father (Steve Greer) and uncle (Tyrone Walker), Jay has started his own group, known as The Wrecking Crew. It was Jay's call to Dusty Griffith and Leon Van Zandt's desire to do the right thing that shocked the wrestling world. At such a young age, Jay Stevens was becoming a made man right before our very eyes.
Early on in the match, Walker had an answer for Jay at every turn. Walker could feel what Jay was going to attempt next, and could position himself in the best defensive spot possible to brush off the attack, and counter with offence of his own. The fans could sense the tension, as both men wanted to say they held a victory over the other. Jay went for a sliced bread move, but Jay laughed Ty in the air and got his knees up with a gutbuster. This turned the tide to Jay's favour, and the young lion would take to the mat and work on opening up some submissions. Walker gave up his arm, which Jay snatched and tried to hyper extend. Walker was in pain, but as able to fight to the ropes which caused the referee to break the hold.
Jay tried to scramble and keep up the pressure, but Walker felt the pressure, side stepped and hip tossed Jay to the outside. A running suicide dive followed, and Walker connected clean. The fans loved the high impact offence, and Walker was playing up the showman role. Walker rolled Stevens into the ring, before running to the turnbuckle and coming off with a moonsault. Walker held for the cover.

NO
Stevens was able to kick out. Walker picked Jay up and started blistering him with european uppercuts, backing Jay into the corner. Walker backed off, before flying forward with a nasty clothesline. Jay walked forward, before falling face first to the mat. Walker hit the second rope and dropped and elbow, before holding for a pinfall.

NO!
Again, Jay Stevens was able to find the fortitude to kick out. Walker applauded him, knowing well enough that he was responsible for some of Jay's success up to a point. The crowd in attendance let it be known that they were on Jays side, and wanted to see him pull this one out.
Walker hit a body slam and went to the top rope, looking to finish things off. A 450 splash followed, but Stevens was able to get out of the way. Walker was holding his stomach, trying to regain the wind in his sails. Stevens got to his feet, trying to compose himself. Out of sheer instinct, Walker pushed forward, but Stevens caught him and executed his patented Belly to Belly Suplex! Jay floated over, and hooked the leg, and the referee was in position to count to three. Nanoseconds after the referee counted to three, Walker kicked out, but it was too late. The match was awarded to Jay Stevens, and he has completed a perfect week of his block, and sealed the deal by defeating his uncle in a hard fought match.
Winner: Jay Stevens via Belly to Belly Suplex (11:36)
Jay held his position, kneeling in the corner of the ring. He looked over to his uncle, who was still holding his stomach, trying to regain his composure. It's safe to say he wasn't expecting Jay to hit the belly to belly at that point in time. Walker kneeled as well across the ring from Stevens. Jay nodded to Walker, mouthing 'thank you' to his uncle, for bringing such a strong fight and for being gracious in defeat. Perhaps thanking him for all of the years spent imparting knowledge his way. The fans stood, applauding this beautiful moment.
Walker got to his feet, never taking his eyes off of Stevens. Jay followed suit, and go to his feet. Walker walked towards his nephew, raised his hand to the crowd, before the two men embraced. Walker left the ring, pointing to Jay, saying it was his time now and to enjoy the moment.
Stevens waved to the fans, appreciating their undying support from the moment he set foot inside of a Northern Pro Wrestling ring. Stevens shouted that he was just getting started, and that there was much more to come.

Geared up for the Night 2 starter, we see the brother of another NPW star enter the ring first. His showing was impressive so far, Chris Cavanagh was making no friends nor wasting any time with getting this one started. He entered the ring in quick fashion and looked ready for the evening’s bout.
Niko would come to the ring next. His future apparel in full gleaming neon action as he glowed to the ring and showed off the new attire for the Cruiser Weight Cup. Bouncing from the apron over the top rope and onto his feet, Niko’s spring in his step was noticeable.
The bell sounded and the two were off, Chris getting the upper hand early with a display of arm drags and dropkicks. Whipping Niko across the ring into the ropes and delivering the highest dropkick anyone had seen of the night, and landing it in perfect execution.
Cavanagh slapped the mat with piss and vinegar, looking to set the pace early. Niko looked rattled by the newcomer. Adjusting, Niko caught him off guard as Chris pulled him to his feet, Niko used the trunks and sent Cavanagh out of the ring through the middle ropes. Using the top rope he splashed his opponent on the outside, taking both men down to the outside.
The referee got to a 5 count before Niko got up and dragged Chris back to the apron, sliding him under the bottom rope. Using the apron to his advantage, he wasted no motion, and went for a flipping leg drop! Cavanagh moved, causing Niko to hit his rear hard on the canvas! His facial expression looked of utter pain, but he got his hands up in time to block the incoming shin from Chris Cavanagh. However the second, third, and even fourth connected.
Chris was on a roll, and left no stone unturned. He forced Niko back into the corner, whipped him from post to post, and delivered a high upper body lariat in the corner, causing Niko to crumble to the canvas. Cavanagh took to the air, shooting star press! The move was thunderous, and the win seemed all but inevitable.
A rope break saved the near fall, as Niko got a foot on the bottom rope. Chris genuinely was upset, he had him beat. Trigger took Niko and set him up for a piledriver. Signaling for the end with gun fingers before doing a throat motion, which was all the time Niko needed to reverse, mexican arm drag and tie up Chris in an armbar submission!
Chris Cavanagh fought back, trying to punch and claw at the grasp that Niko had on. Niko wasn’t going to give in, and wrenched back, causing Chris to roll with him, and go for a near fall pin on Niko’s pinned shoulders!
Niko and Chris split from the hold and got to their feet. Pushing to gain the upper hand, both came at the other with an upper body strike, Chris blocked Niko, Niko countered Chris, and in the end Chris delivered an enziguri that rocked Niko into the corner. Instead of bolting at him, Chris toe kicked Niko, and suplexed him, but sat him down on the top rope. Ascending the turnbuckle, he delivers a frankensteiner from the top to a loud pop from the fans!
Niko hits hard, shaken from the impact. Chris shakes off the impact of his own move, and manuevers around Niko, waiting for him to get to his feet. Niko spins around with a wild clothesline attempt, and Chris Cavangh delivers the Coup De Grace!
Pinning Niko for the one, two, three, Chris Cavangh takes the day three victory in a hard fought effort to gain momentum into the final day of the Cruiser Weight Cup.
Winner: Chris Cavangh via Coup De Grace! (11:24)
Cracking his neck, Chris Cavanagh ascends the turnbuckle to let the fans know they will see more of him and his high flying antics.

The New Untouchables have started to generate a buzz in Northern Pro Wrestling. Whether it stems from their confrontation with The Syndicate, or their solid debut victory over Spin Cycle. The energy that Jeffrey and Lee bring to the ring is contagious, as the fans seem to have really taken to them. This match would be Lee's moment to step up and showcase himself outside of the tag team dynamic. Both members of the New Untouchables have made it known that they're willing to wrestle in singles as well as tag. Jeffrey Daniels will be wrestling Bryan Chase at the CWC Finale - so lots of opportunities abound for young duo.
Black Diamond came to Northern Pro Wrestling with a strong reputation from Mexico, as a can't miss prospect. While falling short prior to the CWC, thus eliminating his chances at competing, he finds himself with an opportunity to work his way back into the hunt for a Cruiserweight Championship opportunity. As expected, the match was fast paced, with BD looking to overwhelm Lee with his Lucha Style. Lee proved to be up to task, and seemed capable of keeping up with the latin american standout.
Black Diamond had control, and decided to make a high risk attempt, but he was met with a SUPERKICK! Surprise surprise. The New Untouchables have been circling the super kick wagons all over the indies, and that hasn't stopped in Northern Pro. Daniels started to clap on the outside, looking to get the crowd into it. He didn't have to try very hard, as the crowd adapted well to the positive energy the two young lads were putting out in the universe.
A jumping bicycle kick from Lee was next, as BD flew into the corner, and bounced out before getting smoked by a crescent kick!
Lee looked over at Jeffrey, and they exchanged a nod. As Black Diamond was getting to his feet, he kicked BD in the gut, and snapped him over with a nasty DDT. At which point Lee hit the turnbuckle and came off with a pump shooting star press that landed perfectly. Lee held for the cover, and the referee was in position to make the count, which was academic at that point.
Winner: Lee Scott Rothlesberger via Pump Shooting star press (6:12)
We were left wondering how well either member of the New Untouchables might've faired in the Cruiserweight Cup if they had've been invited. The duo hit the turnbuckles and posed for the fans after a spectacular win for Lee. It appears as though Jeffrey and Lee are just scratching the surface of their talents, and are ready to challenge some of the tougher competitors who reside in Northern Pro. One last pose, before we cut away.

When the Cruiserweight Cup was announced, The top Cruiserweight on the NPW Roster made his stance perfectly clear when he heard rumours that Adrien Cochrane would be signing on as an entrant. Insect innuendo followed, some smug remarks from the current NACW followed, and Adrien has done his best to maintain that he's ready to show the world that he's capable of backing up the reputation that he has earned outside of the XHF Network.
There are no bigger opportunities to showcase oneself than against one of the aces of Northern Pro Wrestling. Lord Domincus has withstood the challenges of a variety of top flight competitors, and nearly found himself as a double champion in Northern Pro. Coupled with the fact that LD nearly captured the X*C championship at End of Days - and 2020 would have to be considered a banner year for our resident Evil Genius.
The winner of this match would advance to the finals, and after wha we witnessed earlier tonight, they would join Chis Cavanagh and represent the A block against Jay Stevens and the winner of the Gebin & Eron Hunter match set to take place after this bout.
The stakes were high, and these two men are both battle tested, and arguably two of the biggest stars on the XHF Network. The fans were on the edge of their seats, expecting a class, and these two men delivered in spades.
Lord Dominicus has developed a cult following regardless of the evil he aspires to spread. The action in the match was fast and furious, as one might expect. Adrien wanted to keep the match above board in regards to the rules, but LD was willing to toe the line. Whenever Adrien was starting to build momentum, a slick pulling of the hair, into an arm lock would follow. Adrien didn't let the underhanded tactics rattle him, and showed himself to be quite well rounded as he welcomed the exchanges on the ground.
AC was able to roll out of the arm locks, and wrap LD's arm behind his back with a stiff hammerlock, which forced LD face first into the mat, before Adrien synched tighter, which popped LD off the mat and had I'm running around the ring trying to break the hold. Adrien finally used his leverage to execute a back suplex while holding onto the hammerlock.
LD popped up after the move, but he was met flush with a dropkick from AC. Surprise Surprise, the drop kick king was already showcasing one of his strengths.
LD popped up slowly, holding his jaw and shaking the cobwebs. AC waited, not wanting to push it to ofar out of respect for LD's craftiness. A deep collar and elbow followed, with a deep arm drag from AC, which prompted LD to pop up, but this time he did so with his thumb extended and caught Adrien in the eye. That certainly slowed things down, as LD then kicked AC in the side of the knee, dropping him. A yakuza kick to the mush was next on the menu and Adrien ate all of it.
LD picked Adrien up, and snapped him over with a vicious suplex, before hitting the ropes and springbording backwards with a beautiful moonsault. LD held for the cover.

KICKOUT
We got there sense that LD wasn't expecting to finish things there, but would force Adrien to use his strength to push out of the pinfall, and keep himself afloat in the match. LD circled, and attempted a release German Suplex, but Adrien somehow landed on his feet. When LD turned round, Drop kick!, LD staggered, Drop kick!
LD fell through the ropes onto the arena floor. The crowd started to buzz, and after a quick glance, we now knew why.
Eric Dane, Scott Steel and Jesse Jamester were positioned at the top of the ramp, and they appeared to be there to get a closer look at the action. The three of them stood united, and besides a few whispers here and there, the trio kept their distance. Adrien decided to wait for LD to come back into the ring, although the North American Cruiserweight Champion waved Adrien outside, thinking he might have the advantage in a brawling type of situation. Adrien being the rule follower that he is, raised his hands and backed away before waving LD back into his world.
LD rolled under the bottom rope, and circled, looking for the proper angle to dive into action. Adrien kept looking for his spot as well, LD wrapping Adrien up in a standing wirstlock, before spinning him around into a kick in the gut, followed by a butterfly suplex. LD hit the ropes and nailed a diving elbow drop which caught AC flush in the sternum. A pinfall attempt followed, but it would be only 2!
TWO!!
There it was, the signal from Eric Dane. Dane told Steel to watch the aisle, as Dane and Jesse Jamester walked down the aisle. and stood near ringside. The action in the ring was fast and furious, to the point where nobody acknowledged them. JJ and Dane stood side by side, and continued to whisper, clearly discussion strategy.
LD and Adrien were in the ring battling, but not for long. LD hit a running clothesline which tipped Adrien over the top rope, and had him crashing down to the floor. LD hit the top rope, nd came off with a diving high cross body, Which he Hit! But the impact took a lot out of LD as well. The referee started to count

LD was finally up, and he rolled under the bottom rope to break the count, seemingly interested in continuing to wage war on the outside. When he returned, Adrien appeared to have recovered enough, either that or he was fighting on pure instinct. Adrien swung and connected, but LD returned the favour, and both men were trading strikes, toe to toe, mano a mano...
LD swung, Adrien ducked, and he hit LD flush with a standing drop kick! This rattled LD, and sent him down hard. Adrien picked up LD and rolled him under the bottom rope. Before Adrien could follow him into the ring...
[Eric Dane.]
The North American Double Crown Champion walked over to Adrien, and broke his concentration. Dane said he was proud of Adrien, and impressed with how he had improved over the years. Adrien was reluctant, and tried to turn away, but Dane was persistent and wouldn't allow him to enter the ring. At which point, the referee walked over to the ropes to admonish Dane, and tell him to leave the ringside area. With the referee's back turned, Jesse Jamester rolled into the ring and hit Lord Dominicus with The Jester Plex!!
The crowd gasped, as Jesse rolled out of the ring to avoid detection.
On the other side of the ring, Dane finally put his hands up and walked away, telling the referee he was only there to wish one of his 'friends' all of the best! The referee didn't buy it, and Adrien appeared confused. Adrien rolled into the ring, to find Lord Domincus worse for ware. Dane and JJ were starting to walk up the aisle, and it was clear that Adrien hadn't seen anything that happened in the ring while being caught up with Dane and the referee moments prior.
LD groggily got to his feet..
WHAM!!!
Adrien Cutter!
Adrien hooked the leg and held for the count.

Ding Ding Ding
Winner: Adrien Cochrane via Adrien Cutter (11:09)
The referee raised Adrien's hand, and he nodded to the crowd, who at present were giving him a lukewarm reception. Was he aware of what The Syndicate had just done? Was Adrien the master mind of the plot? Or was he innocent, and unaware?
Adrien left the ring and slapped hands with a few fans. At which point, The Syndicate left the top of the ramp, and headed backstage.
Inside of the ring, Lord Dominicus started to come to, and was holding his head after being driven to the mat by Jesse Jamester. The referee listened to LD's complaints, but didn't seem to buy that there was any wrong doing, and chalked it up to LD being a sore loser. But, the rest of the arena saw what transpired, and Lord Dominicus had every right to feel shafted after what he had just endured.

The highly anticipated Cruiser Weight Cup match of the night was about to begin. Fans at ringside were split with chants for the two participants about to enter the ring and do battle for another leg up in the points column.
First to enter the ring was the highly sought after and aerial assault ninja, Eron Hunter. Coming off a loss against Jay Stevens on Night 2 of the CWC, Eron showed all the athletic prowess of a star born again, and a deadly arsenal of moves. Eron Hunter was no slouch in the ring, yet tonight, he displayed a different look, and the crowd was taken back by his entrance to the ring. Cheering him on, their was sounds for “Night” in the audience, the character he had portrayed for weeks now. However, it was this new appearance, that resonated with them, as it showed he was not about the glitz and glamour, and more about the work done in the ring.
Following up that entrance, we saw the Fireside star Gebin make his appearance next. Gebin was on fire with a win over Tyrone Walker with his patent finisher the Empty Abyss, a shooting star press. Gebin walked with purpose to the ring, knowing full well what he was up against. This night would determine the finals of the Cruiser Weight Cup, and everything was on the line.
The two sounded off in the ring, getting checked by the referee before the bell rang. A feel out period would begin the bout, with both men circling one another, Gebin trading some verbal jabs, Eron keeping his energy reserved and not giving Gebin the benefit of mental games. Slipping into an elbow collar tie up, the two leveraged for the advantage, before Gebin shot around the waist, controlling the elbow. Eron Hunter broke the lock using his free hand and took the wrist of Gebin into a standing shoulder armbar. Using his opponent’s discomfort, Eron walked to the ropes and jumped off the second rope to arm drag Gebin to the other side of the ring!
Launching from the canvas like a rocket, Eron Hunter went straight after Gebin who returned to his feet. Dropkick! Gebin bounced off the canvas again, shaking his head, and as the second dropkick came in, he swatted Eron away, dodging the attack and delivering a toe kick on his rise! Planting Eron between his hip and elbow, Gebin delivered a hellacious DDT to the slouched Hunter, and went for the cover. A one count would be all he received for his efforts.
Gebin knew it wouldn’t be that easy, picking up Hunter and shooting him towards the nearest turnbuckle. Eron however had other plans. Running up the turnbuckle pads, Eron delivered a whisper in the wind and caught Gebin on his fall across the head! Gebin instinctively rolled to the apron, looking to avoid the pinfall attempt, and Eron Hunter saw his opportunity. Bouncing off the ropes furthest from Gebin, he came sprinting at him, suicide spearing Gebin through the middle ropes to the outside!
Fans went ballistic! The move looked dangerous, and rightfully so, as Gebin took the fall, but the impact Eron Hunter had when throwing himself into Gebin was reckless. Hunter was leaving it all in the ring, and some outside of it, and the fans appreciated the effort with resounding chants of ‘HUN-TER!’
Rallying his fall, Hunter got up, pushing himself to the apron, rolling in and then back out to break up the count the referee had started. Grabbing Gebin from the floor, Hunter sent him towards the ring, but Gebin reversed it and slammed Hunter on the side of the apron back first! Gebin used this advantage to grab Hunter by the waist and belly-to-belly him on the outside of the ring! A chorus of boos came over the crowd from this ill-fated attempt to get an advantage, but was it? Was he just using the environment to his advantage? Hunter certainly was.
Gebin tossed Hunter back in the ring and then climbed the apron himself. Using the ropes he slingshot himself over the ropes, senton splashing Hunter and rolling up to his feet, proud of his work. Gebin didn’t waste time however, and shot across the ring and delivered a quick high leg drop, before grabbing the legs and going for a cover.
A two count would be all he received. Lifting Hunter from the canvas, Gebin snap suplexed him, but did not let go. A second snap suplex! And a third- but Hunter would use the leg to stop the final one, and Gebin would knee him in the gut to get the third one off! Both men lay there for a moment, Eron in worse shape than before, looking like he had just been bludgeoned by a rock. Gebin was catching his breath, before returning to his feet.
Gebin would lift Hunter once more, aggressively pulling him to his feet, getting caught with a right forearm for his efforts, followed by a left! Hunter wasn’t going down with out a fight and Gebin was staggering! Gebin stepped foreward and headbutted Hunter to break the chain! Shin kicking Hunter followed by a forearm to the face, Gebin used the ropes Gebin got momentum, and delivered a shining wizard that nearly took Eron Hunter’s head off!

2….
Shoulder shot off the canvas and Eron Hunter was alive! A gasp was heard throughout the arena as fans exhaled. This was as close as they came and neither man wanted to give an inch to the other. Every move calculated towards the success of their journey to the Cruiser Weight Cup.
Gebin smacked the canvas as he rolled to a knee. Looking on to the referee to see that he did count two and not three. Frustration? No, he was determined. Gebin grabs Hunter by the hair, leaning on the ropes as he begins to pull him to his feet. As though reactive, Hunter latched onto the ropes once Gebin stuck Hunter’s head into a piledriver position. He was aiming to drive the nail into the coffin, if it meant getting the job done. Gebin wrenched up on Hunter’s midsection to deliver-- reversed! Planting his feed down, Gebin was launched over the back of Hunter in front of the turnbuckle.
Hunter looked up, regaining his composure, and looked at where Gebin was. A double take, and he thought no more about it. Action into motion, Eron Hunter stepped on the apron, climbed the turnbuckle, shaking the cobwebs as he reached the top rope.
Shooting Star Legdrop! Gebin uses the ropes to move at the very last moment, causing Hunter to crash and burn on the mat! Gebin takes the same approach and ascended to the top rope. Waiting for Hunter to stand up, he sprung off the board and perfectly targeted the turning Hunter - smashface missile dropkick! Hurling Hunter across the squared circle!
Gebin reacted the same way as the fans, a bit shocked he launched him that far. Recovering from that thought he makes haste to get the cover.
1…
2….
Reaching out with one hand, Hunter grabs the bottom rope to stop the count. The referee in position shakes off Gebin’s demand of it being three, and raises two fingers in his face. Gebin pushes the referee’s hand away in frustration as he gets to his feet. Words are exchanged, the referee doing his job, but Gebin quite not believing it was a rope break and not three beforehand. It was close, but Hunter was still very much in this. Clutching the wrist of Hunter, Gebin drags him to his feet. Hooking him for a suplex, Gebin launches Hunter into the air - the momentum is too much, and Hunter flips behind Gebin, hooking his leg, and delivering an inverted DDT with authority! Hunter feeling the effects of the last series lays an arm over Gebin.

Shoulder up! Gebin gets the shoulder off the canvas as he rolls through to his stomach. Both men spent from the battle they were enduring. Pushing himself up first, was Eron Hunter. Reading the room, he took his time, Gebin hadn’t moved.
Hunter reached his feet, and as he did, the bell sounded. Confused, Hunter looks at the referee - did someone quit? The referee checked with the ringside staff. As this is going on, Gebin gets to a knee. Out from the back comes Gus Arnold. Northern Pro Wrestling’s boss was here, that was always a sign that things were not running smoothly.
Walking around the ring, Gus motions to the time keeper to stop. After a brief discussion between the timekeeper, referee, and Gus Arnold, the referee enters the ring again. Gus grabs a mic at ringside and hands it to the time keeper.
Timekeeper: The match has reached the 20 minute time limit.
We will restart the match in sudden death rules, with a 5 minute time limit. Please restart the match at my signal.
Waiting as Gus Arnold sits down at ringside, the time keeper lifts his arm up and then cocks it to signal the referee. By now, Gebin and Eron Hunter are back to their feet and in respective corners. Coming out like boxers in the 12th round, the two spare no time in locking up. Countering each wrestling hold with another, chaining a counter to a counter to a counter to a leg sweep, leg drop, dodged with a roll, kip up, roundhouse kick, ducked, and a chop that is caught at the wrist by Hunter!
Gebin’s head tilts, Hunter stares down his opponent as he begins to turn the wrist and as he rolls it completely over, Gebin jumps with a knee attack! Hunter ducks it, grabbing neck and dropping him with a neckbreaker!
Hunter however isn’t done, grabbing Gebin’s arm, he pulls him up and delivers a wrist clutch burning hammer! Calling this trademark move of, Flame Desperado, Hunter hooked the leg as he sat on the chest of Gebin looking to take the win in overtime.
1…
2….
Three wasn’t in the cards as Hunter is rolled off his opponent as Gebin kicks out! Gebin using his reserves as his eyes seek the skies above as he comes to grips that he’s still in this. Hunter kicks the fallen Gebin, eying him up, before bringing him up once again to his feet. This time Hunter whips Gebin to the turnbuckle, and instead of running he waits, and Gebin returns coming at him full speed. As he does, Hunter dropkicks him in the knee and sends him to the canvas. Using the ropes he corkscrew moonsaults into a leg drop over the hunched Gebin! Face driven right into the canvas! Going for the cover, Hunter hooks the leg as he puts his weight on Gebin’s chest.
1…
2….
Gebin kicks out! Rocked but reeling, Hunter stands up with his hands on his hips. Debating what it will take to put Gebin away. Lifting him up, Hunter executes a tiger suplex! He’s not done, he delivers a release t-bone suplex! Gebin rolls into the far corner, and the referee motions for 1 minute as the timekeeper nods to him about the warning.
Gebin uses the second rope to get up. Hunter closes in, kicking him in the leg, before pushing him into the corner. Gebin gets suplexed to the top rope, where Hunter climbs to join him. The two exchange blows, as Gebin tries to fight back and get out of the predicament. Gebin slams Hunter with an elbow, sending him down to the second rope. Hunter headbuttes him to take back control. Grabbing his shoulders, HURRICARANA! But no! Gebin holds the top rope, Hunter drops to the canvas in a backflip motion!
Flying blockbuster! Just as Hunter got to his feet Gebin in a last ditch effort floated over him, wrapping his arms around Hunter’s neck and delivering a hellacious neckbreaker!
The two men lay in the middle of the ring, exhausted.
Outside the ring, Gus stands up and walks over to the timekeeper. After a few words, he grabs the microphone.
Gus Arnold: "This match is now in a final sudden death! The match will continue until a winner is determined!"
With no bell ringing or restarting of the match, it is clear Gus wants to have no doubters when it comes to the outcome of the Cruiser Weight Cup he hosted in Northern Pro Wrestling. The referee looked over at him and asked if he should count them down, and Gus shook his head no. He meant what he said, and a pinfall or a submission would be the only way this match ended.
Hunter pushed up to an elbow. Gebin to a knee. Two warriors seeking the glory of victory, to be acknowledged by their peers and the world, as the best of the best in the Cruiser Weight division. Gebin reached his feet. Hunter was wobbling, holding his neck, but standing.
Looking at one another, they both had unleashed their arsenals, and then some. Fans were in a frenzy at ringside, cheering on both men as they prepared to put the bow on this bout.
“JEH-BIN! HUN-TER! JEH-BIN! HUN-TER! JEH-BIN! HUN-TER!”
A short elbow from Gebin spins Hunter, Gebin goes for the waistlock back drop, but Hunter flips over his shoulder, staggering to keep his balance. Pelee kick from Gebin! Hunter rolls backwards into the corner in a crouching position, holding his face - just missing the full impact of the move. Gebin rushed at Hunter and leaped in the air to deliver a basement dropkick, but Hunter was quick to scout it and rolled out of the way! Gebin dropkicks the bottom turnbuckle, rolls to a knee and catches his breath.
From the side Hunter approaches, Gebin throws as houlder into him, Hunter buckles, and Gebin uses his position to back drop Hunter over the rope! Hunter lands on the apron, unaware is Gebin. Turning right into a kick to the side of the head, Hunter uses the ropes to get the height. Gebin is rocked, Hunter slingshots over the top rope and head scissors Gebin into the middle of the ring! Gebin rolls to a sitting position. Hunter grabs him by the head, lifts him up for another Flame Desperado!
Gebin reverses and flips over the shoulders! Reverse DDT, no, countered by a knee to the head by Hunter. Grabbing the wrist again, Hunter lifts and Flame Desperado! All of his weight on Gebin’s chest, Hunter holds both legs and clenches for the pinfall! The referee signals for the bell!
Winner: Eron Hunter via Flame Desperado! (33:57)
Collapsing at the sound of the bell, Hunter laid next to Gebin on the canvas, both men left it all in the ring. The crowd was on their feet roaring with enthusiasm, it was not every day they had seen such a battle as these two men had shown tonight.
Eron Hunter rolled to the apron, and sat up. The referee stood on the outside, raising his hand. Hunter didn’t show the respect he did Jay Stevens, atleast not in the same way. Instead of the hand shake, he was giving Gebin the ring, to allow him the spotlight. Win or loss, both men proved their worth in the twenty-by-twenty tonight, and no fan left unsatisfied.
Gus Arnold grabbed a mic and entered the ring.
Gus Arnold: "In the three years of hosting this tournament, this might be the best match of them all. Congratulations to you both, and especially you Eron on a tremendous victory."
FIGHT FOREVER!!!
FIGHT FOREVER!!!
FIGHT FOREVER!!!
Gus Arnold: "Gebin, your efforts throughout this tournament have not gone unnoticed. In this game, sometimes it's a split second that's the difference between a win and a loss - but rest assured, there is no losing here."
Gus waits, while the crowd continues to serenade Gebin with applause.
Gus Arnold: "You've earned an entirely new set of fans with your work ethic and never say die attitude. The front door in Northern Pro Wrestling is open to you anytime."
Gus bows his head to Gebin, before walking over to shake Eron Hunter's hand. Gus brings the two men together in the middle of the ring, and raises both of their hands to the crowd, as they erupt one last time to show their support to the efforts of the two warriors who put on an absolute classic.

Here. We. Go.
Eric Dane set the parameters of this match, and Joseph Mack stepped up and accepted. Liam Beesley accompanied Mack to the top of the ramp, at which point they shared a fist bump and Mack told Liam he would be fine, and said he needed to do this on his own. Beesley agreed, and wished his charge well.
Joseph Mack walked down the aisle with purpose, staring down three of the most dangerous men in professional wrestling. Once Mack got to the ring steps, he looked up whispered something, as if dedicating this moment to someone special. And then...
RAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!
The crowd erupted as Mack ran up the steps, entered the ring and charged forward. The referee hadn't called for the bell, but that didn't stop Mack from forgoing to usually prematch rituals. Mack levelled JJ with a running clothesline, before ducking a swing from Scott Steel, and hammering back with a back elbow, followed by a discus punch!
Dane stepped forward and he ate a DDT for his troubles. JJ was back up, over head release Belly to Belly!! JJ had been launched across the ring. Steel hit a big boot, and attempted a power bomb, but Mack snuck out the backdoor, landed on his feet and executed a release german Suplex on Scott Steel!!
RAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!
The crowd was going apeshit. All three members of the Syndicate had got a beating, and the bell hadn't even rang yet. Mack motioned for the people to stand and fight with him.
Dane got to his feet, running hook clothesline for his troubles.
DING DING DING!!
The match had officially started, and Eric Dane was already worse for ware. Mack snapped Dane down with a double arm DDT! He covered!!

NO!!!
Eric Dane got his shoulder up.
Holy Hell I thought we had a new champion right there.
Scott Steel tried to enter the ring, but a running knee lift from Mack sent him packing, and crashing down to the concrete floor.
Dane was trying to get to his feet, as Mack ran forward and tried to hit a spear, but he was clipped in the jaw by Dane's knee brace! Dane with nothing but instincts to protect himself had caught Mack flush with his knee brace, and Mack crumbled.
Dane goes for the cover.
1...
2..
NO!!!
Mack was able to kickout before three. That was close. Three minutes into the match and two near falls. Not exactly a 'feel em out' kind of altercation, but the fans were loving it. Lots of words were exchanged and threats were made. If nothing else, Joseph Mack has arrived, and he is proving that he isn't afraid of anything or anyone.
Dane admonishes he referee for a slow count, before irish whipping Mack into the corner, before catching Mack with a dragon screw leg whip out of the corner. Dane then wrenches hard at the ankle, looking to pop Mack's knee out of joint. Dane could sense that in order to slow the big man down, he would need to pull out every trick in the book, any edge he could forsee he would need to use.
Dane then snapped downward on the leg, trying to dislocate Mack's knee which had him writhing in pain. Dane walked over and started to stomp away on the knee, and even a few toe punts to the ribcage followed. The referee told him to keep it clean, and Dane responded with a middle finger.
Mack got into referee's position, and was looking to get to his feet, but Dane dug his boot into Mack's hand. Mack gritted through it, and used his other hand to trip Dane up, and grabbed his ankle. Before dane knew it, Mack and grabbed an ankle lock and Dane was fighting to get to the ropes. The fans popped at Mack's resiliency.
Steel clobbered Mack from behind, and it dropped him to his knee. Mack got up, turned to face Steel and was about to lay hands on him until Dane hit a running knee in the small of Mack's back. This sent him out through the middle ropes and into the waiting arms of Jesse Jamester, who power slammed him on the concrete floor. Steel picked Mack up, and whipped him back first into the guard rail, before hitting a big boot.
JJ picked up Mack and rolled him under the rope. It appeared as though Mack was right for the pickings. Dane lifted him up and was about to Hit a Star Driver, but Mack kneed Dane in the face, which forced him to drop him, Mack executed an over head belly to belly on Dane! Mack shook the cobwebs once again, showing just how tough he was. Dane got up, clothesline for his trouble... Dane got up again, Drop Kick by the big man!
JJ gets up on the apron, but he's levelled with a nasty clothesline. Steel catches a back elbow for his trouble!
Mack on fire once again and crowd loves it!
R2 DRIVAAAHHH!!!!!!!
Mack spiked Dane clean.
1....
2...
What-the...
Jesse Jamester grabbed Mack's ankle and pulled him out of the ring. The crowd kept counting, and Eric Dane is still out on the mat. Joseph Mack should've won the match, he should've been the NEW North American Double Crown Champion - but the numbers finally caught up to him.
Enraged, Mack caught Jamester with a stiff right hand before more damage could be inflicted and he rolled back to the ring, once again stalking The Only Star.
BLAM~!
And that's when he ate a HYOOJ BOOT from Scott Steel! Jamester slithered back into the ring and the two Syndicate members started putting the heavy boots to Mack as Dane took his sweet time recovering. Finally, once Dane had shaken loose all of the cobwebs he went to his boot and produced an eight inch long, shining Golden Spike! The crowd had had enough and garbage started flying as The Only Star started barking instructions to his men.
This is when things went sideways.
The referee, no longer able to stomach the spectacle in front of him, dove into the fray and did his best to wave Dane off and save Mack from a grisly attack. That turned out to be a mistake, as Dane nodded to Scott Steel and the Mountain grabbed the referee, lifted him up, and launched him out of the ring and through a ringside table! The garbage was really flying after that and Dane once again turned his evil eye on Joseph Mack.
RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!
From seemingly nowhere, probably the crowd, the visiting DROPKICK KING Adrien Cochrane appeared, perched high atop the far turnbuckle on the opposite side of the ring! He leapt off, soaring through the air, and drilled Scott Steel square in the chest with so much force and precision that it sent the Mountain flying through the ropes and outside to the floor! Dane, sensing that the gig is up, dropped to the mat and rolled out to collect his North American Double Crown and check on Scott Steel as Jamester turned away from Mack and right into an Adrien Cutter! Cochrane then sent Jamester rolling under the bottom rope and down to the floor at Dane's feet!
The Only Star scowled up at Cochrane, who had a determined look on his face and jabbed an accusatory finger at Dane, telling him to keep his own nose out of Adrien's business in the future if he wanted to keep that belt around his waist! The crowd was eating it up as Dane and his Syndicate backed away while Adrien checked on Joseph Mack inside the ring.

Block B Match
20 Minute Time Limit
Tyrone Walker [FA] vs. Jay Stevens [NPW]
--This match had so many layers of both past, present and future sprinkled into it.

2

Block B Match
20 Minute Time Limit
Niko [NPW] vs. Chris 'Trigger' Cavanagh [FCP]
--Geared up for the Night 2 starter, we see the brother of another NPW star enter the ring first.

Singles Match
20 Minute Time Limit
Lee Scott R. vs. Black Diamond
--The New Untouchables have started to generate a buzz in Northern Pro Wrestling.

Block A Match
20 Minute Time Limit
Lord Dominicus [NPW] vs. Adrien Cochrane [FA]
--When the Cruiserweight Cup was announced, The top Cruiserweight on the NPW Roster made his stance perfectly clear when he heard rumours that Adrien Cochrane would be signing on as an entrant.

2.
1...
2...
3...
4....

3!

Block B Match
20 Minute Time Limit
Eron Hunter [NPW] vs. Gebin [Fireside]
--The highly anticipated Cruiser Weight Cup match of the night was about to begin.

'The Only Star’ Eric Dane (c) vs. Joseph Mack
--Here. We.

2..

2...
