[Welcome to Shockwave.]
[The First Thing We See.]
The Union Jack - the famous flag of Great Britain - fills the television screen. It ripples in the wind as the opening strains of the British National Anthem begin to play.
“God save our gracious Queen,
Long live our noble Queen,
God save our Queen.
Send her victorious,
Happy and…”
RECORD SCRATCH.
The national anthem comes to a crashing halt. In its place comes the electronic beeps that mark the beginning of “Take It Easy, Chicken” by Mansun, followed in short order by its epic guitar riff.
If you’re a wrestling fan, you already know what this means. That’s right, kids. The boys are back!
In sequence, three famous names appear on the screen superimposed over the flag of their country.
RIOT
WINDSOR
FOWLER
Followed by:-
“THE BASTARDS.”
The flag fades away, replaced by a close-up feed of Rob Riot, Frank Windsor, and Billy Fowler wearing "BASTARDS WORLD TOUR 2021" t-shirts. The RSW, WrestleWars and pro-wrestling-in-general legends have a message for Northern Pro Wrestling. Riot and Fowler stare down the lens of the camera. Frank Windsor, for unknown reasons, stares straight at Billy Fowler with an expression best described as "suspicious."
Riot speaks.
RIOT: Hello Northern Pro Wrestling. Hello, world. It's been a few weeks since "A Call To Arms," but someone at that event made a huge mistake. There was a Northern Pro Wrestling team at that event, and someone let slip that the company is having a trios tournament. Kids, how are you going to have a trio's tournament without the greatest trio in the history of…of….
Riot looks at his shoulder, which Windsor is tapping on repeatedly. Frank still hasn’t taken his eyes off Fowler.
RIOT: The history of….ugh, fine. OK, Frank, what is it?
Before Frank can answer, Fowler interjects whilst rolling his eyes. His tone betrays his weariness for the conversation to come.
FOWLER: He still thinks I’m a ghost.
Riot turns his attention from Fowler back to Windsor, who appears to be a little frightened by his long-standing stablemate.
RIOT: Ah. Right. Your “death.” I must admit I’d quite forgotten about that. It came up in that promo he cut before “A Call To Arms.”
FOWLER: Oh, I'm sure you did. I'm sure the producers of the show on which I appeared did too! Because at no point did I give creative consent to be killed off!
RIOT: I don't think you have to give consent to die, mate. Well, maybe if you’re in Switzerland, now I think about it…
WINDSOR: Fowler, I thought you people could only talk through knocking on tables or moving glasses around, or Derek Acorah and shit?
FOWLER: What do you mean by “you people?”
WINDSOR: Dead people.
RIOT: Frank, Billy is not dead. He’s very much alive.
WINDSOR: A dead person would say that.
RIOT: I’m not dead either!
FOWLER: I've been living in a very nice apartment in Chelsea for the last 15 months; it's been bliss! And then, I find out that you Bastards bloody killed me!
RIOT: Whoah, whoah, whoah. I had no part in this!
Fowler and Riot both slowly turn their heads and fix their gaze on Windsor, awaiting an explanation.
WINDSOR: Not my fault, I was in the same lockdown you guys were in. I just got some link come up on my laptop saying it was a Zoom link for your funeral. How was I to know there was more than one Billy Fowler. He even had the same ginger mullet you had back pre-Covid times.
FOWLER: Mullet? Ginger? I haven’t got either. I’ve never had either!
WINDSOR: I know, we’ve all changed since lockdown closed the hairdressers. And I see you got rid of the budgie.
FOWLER: You definitely haven’t changed. Well, apart from the obvious.
Riot gets between them and holds them apart. Windsor holds up his fingers in some sort of crucifix.
FOWLER: Frank, I’m not dead! I’m not a freaking vampire either!
Riot desperately tries to get things back on track.
RIOT: Gentlemen, to the point. We have an audience waiting. So, with the three of us very much alive, we showed the world what the Bastards all about at “Call to Arms.”
WINDSOR: Two of us did. Billy was pretending to be dead so the Covid wouldn’t find him.
FOWLER: I wasn’t pretending either. Nothing changes around here other than your waistline. I wasn't going to mention it before, but you leave me no choice.
WINDSOR: What you trying to say? I'm in the best shape of my life. Anyway, we're not here to talk about you. We're talking about the Bastards, so stop trying to steal the limelight again!
RIOT: AS I WAS SAYING, Windsor and I came within a midge’s nutsack of walking away with the “W” at the XHF pay per view, and I guess you could say we got the taste for it again.
FOWLER: Plus, Windsor needs to get some exercise in. He looks like Matt Hancock in a pie shop.
WINDSOR: What the fuck does that mean? I ain’t touching you up. Even though I’ve got that over on Batman, I like the ladies!
Riot winces at the relentless bickering behind him but keeps his eyes on the camera.
RIOT: So, with all that said, our message is this. It’s too late for us to sign up for the trios tournament, but that’s not going to stop us.
FOWLER: We’re just going to wait to see who wins it…
WINDSOR: ….and then kick them right in the fucking arse.
RIOT: Get ready, NPW. You’re going to see us real soon.
The shot pans out, revealing the trio to be stood next to a battered old Ford Cortina. Fowler gets into the driver’s seat, with Riot and Windsor in the back. Windsor sprays his hands with hand sanitiser whilst he pulls on a face mask.
RIOT: TO CANADA!
FOWLER: Um….we’re in England. You know we can’t drive to Canada from England, right?
WINDSOR: Can’t we just drive onto a ferry and go that way?
FOWLER: You can’t take a ferry from England to Canada, Frank. It would sink. They barely make it to France.
RIOT: So we're basically going to have to get out of this car again and go to an airport instead?
FOWLER: Yup.
RIOT: BASTARD!
The promo fades back out to your regular NPW programming.

Retirement Tour
20 Minute Time Limit
Sanada Inoki [FWA] vs. White Light II [J-ROK]
--
Sanada Inoki has been a decorated star in Japan for five decades. His body is starting to tell him that it's time to hang it up, but his mind is telling him to stick with it because he still has so much more to give and accomplish. In recent times, Inoki has made his way to Canada to compete with the FWA promotion. In doing so, he was able to strike a deal with Gus Arnold to compete in front of the East Coast Canadian fans that have been chomping at the bit to do their part in bidding him farewell.
Marcus Smith was a mainstay in Northern Pro Wrestling over the past few years. Prior to signing with NPW, Marcus spent time in Japan learning his craft in BRAVE. More so, Smith slept and worked out religiously in their dojo. His first few years in the business were spent between BRAVE and wrestling on the UK Indy Scene. Once Smith lost the North American Cruiserweight Championship - he ventured back to BRAVE to chase some of the goals that alluded him in his early days with the promotion. Fast forward to the present, and Smith has agreed to a contact with XHF powerhouse; JROK. As is his tradition, Smith has dawned his father's mask and wrestles under his White Light moniker.
For the sake of the Japanese tradition, Smith would wrestle in front of the Canadian fans under his mask for the first time. The exhibition showed a level of respect for his opponent, his fathers lineage and do their audience to which they were performing in front of.
Inoki certainly didn't take it easy on the young lion, who was looking to use this contest to cement his name as a true rising star on the XHF Network. Inoki showed a tremendous chin, and a will to win, which kept WLII on his toes at all times. A furious set of strikes, capped off with a nasty lariat eared Inoki a near fall. It felt as though Light was fighting from behind for most of the contest, until there was about five minutes to go.
Light would kick it up a notch, and his young lungs seemed to have carried him through the volatility, and now had I'm pouring it on as the elder statesmen was fading. Light executed a beautiful missile dropkick, which earned him a close near fall. Light followed it up with a beautiful brain buster to which he has won many of matches with... but Inoki was able to sickout at the last possible second.
As the match drew to a close, both men were spaghetti legged after a hard hitting affair. The fans were on their feet, and both men were trading strikes in the centre of the ring. Unfortunately for both men, and the fans, the time limit expired and the referee declared the match a DRAW!
Inoki seemed very touched by the standing ovation the fans in attendance gave him... He waved, bowed and respectfully raised White Light II's hand - to symbolize he had given him his stamp of approval. Inoki bowed out of the ring, which is when White Light II asked for a mic.
[WLII removes his mask, to reveal his face.]
[Marcus Smith.]
No surprise there. We see Smith rocked a beard, and some fresh cuts and scars on his face from some of the battles he was recently in during the KoH tournament in J-ROK.
Smith: "It feels good to be back. Thank you all very much for your love and support."
[Applause.]
Smith: "It means a lot to me to have a chance to wrestle against a legend like Sanada Inoki, especially here in the country where I was raised, and in the promotion that forced me to take my game to the next level."
[Welcome Back!]
[Welcome Back!]
Smith: "Before I head back to the land of the rising sun, I wanted to make a couple of challenges while I'm still here."
[The Crowd waits with baited breath.]
Smith: "First and foremost, I've heard that Northern Pro Wrestling is going to be holding the 3rd August on the Atlantic Supershow in one month's time. This event is very special to me, as last year I was able to topple one of my father's most fierce rivals - Tyrone Walker to capture to North American Cruiserweight Championship. That victory is still the highlight of my career, having watched Tyrone compete as a child, and run roughshod over every promotion he ever went to."
[Applause.]
Smith: "This year, I want to wrestle his god son and current North American Cruiserweight Champion; Jay Stevens."
[OHHHHH.]
[Make it Happen!]
[Make it Happen!]
Smith: "Jay's father was also one of my dad's greatest rivals, and he is in the midst of starting his very own legacy here in Northern Pro Wrestling. We're both second generation wrestlers, and we're both peaking in our respective careers. So Jay Stevens... you and I....1 on 1 for the North American Cruiserweight Championship at August on the Atlantic III. What do you say?"
[RAAAAAAAHH!!]
[The crowd shows their respect and make it crystal clear that they want to see his match happen.]
Smith: "But that's not all, oh no!"
[...]
Smith: "I brought someone with me here tonight who's also looking for some competition.]
[The crowd turns to the entrance way.]
[...]
[The Black Jaguar.]
[The masked Japanese sensation sprints to the ring. The two men exchange a high-five.]
Smith: "The Speed Dragons are here, and we're looking to wrestle the best tag teams from all over the globe. We're the current BRAVE Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Champions and we're not above moving up in weight to challenge the best team in Northern Pro Wrestling. Right now, That's Primetime."
[The fans react to PrimeTime.]
Smith: "July 15th, The Sokudoryu's vs. Prime Time for the Imperial Crown Tag Team Championships! What do you say, Gus? Let's turn it up a few notches and put your champions to the test."
[The fans are into it, as The Speed Dragons each hit a turnbuckle, and play to the fans.]
[Two challenges made.]
[Will they be accepted?]
[The ball is in Gus Arnold's court.]
[Cut.]

[Backstage.]
(Team Fairtex is in the locker room all dressed in their wrestling gear as they are waiting for their Trios partner Psychotic Goth. They pace around waiting and start warming up again to remain calm and loose.)
Tong Fairtex: "Where is Psychotic Goth."
Phantam Fairtex: "How should I know where he is."
Tong Fairtex: "He knows there's a tournament and he needs to be here."
(The locker room door opens and they look as Psychotic Goth comes up to them with his wife and valet Vampira.)
Tong Fairtex: "Where were you Psychotic Goth."
Psychotic Goth: "I just ran into an old friend from SWAT and the AWF and we had a great conversation about old times. It was so satisfying to see him again."
Phantam Fairtex: "So you held us up just for that Psychotic Goth."
Psychotic Goth: "Of course. It was so satisfying and inspiring since he finally saw his true side come out which I knew would happen."
Tong Fairtex: "So are you ready for the XHF Trios Championship Tournament."
Psychotic Goth: "Of course I am and I plan on making sure we win and we shall shut the mouth of Gordon Carlson and make sure that his partners suffer the consequences."
Phantam Fairtex: "Now can I ask you a question."
Psychotic Goth: "Of course."
Phantam Fairtex: "Why did you call us Thai Cobras. We are Team Fairtex."
Psychotic Goth: "I am 'The Serpent of SWAT' and it was appropriate since the cobra is a nickname some use."
Tong Fairtex: "That's the tiger not the cobra besides we're Team Fairtex or don't you remember."
Psychotic Goth: "What does it matter Team Fairtex as long as we win and take home those XHF Trios Championships. It's inevitable that we take home those championships and elevate SWAT. The KGB and The Revenants are only going to lower their value and prestige like everything else they do. We have a chance to bring real value to them."
Phantam Fairtex: "First we shut Gordon's big mouth along with his partners and then concentrate on everyone else."
(The Hired Killers enter the locker room and Team Fairtex slaps their heads groaning.)
Jade: "Talking about the tournament."
Tong Fairtex: "Yes and don't say what we know you are about to say."
Jade: "Okay we won't but we'll be watching so no pressure."
Phantam Fairtex: "Yeah no pressure."
Tong Fairtex: "Tonight let's show them that we're a real XHF Trios Championship tag team machine and bring those championships home to SWAT. Let's go and show them. We're out of here."
(They leave as the scene slowly fades to black.)

20 Minute Time Limit
'D' vs. Tony Rios
--
The newcomer Tony Rios hit the ring with energy! Fans didn’t know much about Tony, but he was quickly becoming noticed by fans, which is not surprising given size and style in the squared circle. Six foot five inches, two hundred and seventy-five pounds, “The Main Attraction” was a granite slate of genetics of greek presence, and he was showing it off as the ladies in attendance ‘oooh’d’ and ‘awe’d’ at Tony Rios on his way to the ring.
His opponent was the current reigning NPW Openweight Champion, the Enigma of the North, ‘D’. While his size would be considered a disadvantage to many in this bout, there was no wavering in D’s ability to turn the tide of any situation in his favor. The innovative offense and the way he moved in the ring was unique, even one of a kind. “D” puts the Openweight title on the announcer’s table, as he slides in the ring and jumps the turnbuckle to get a loud cheering ovation from the audience here at Shockwave.
D and Tony circled the ring feeling one another out as the bell rang. Crowd was hyped up for these two to tango. D dropped under a tie up and went with a waistlock, avoiding the strength mismatch and trying to take Tony Rios down, but he grabs the hands and pushes D back into the corner, showing his ring awareness. Hip smashing D twice in the corner, Tony clubs D with a forearm before whipping him across the ring, stopping it mid way, and rolling D back into his arms for an overhead belly-to-belly suplex!
D smashes the canvas hard near the corner he was just in, but rolls to his knees and grabs the ropes, knowing that was just a taste of the strength Tony Rios would be bringing tonight.
Nodding, D got up to his feet and paced around Tony with an eye on him, knowing he was amped from getting the starting advantage. Tony rushes at D when he finally sees the chance, but D dropkicks him in the knee, sending Tony chest first into the second rope. A quick leap over the top rope, and a leg drop onto the back of Tony’s neck from D, and the fans pop! D lands on the apron as Tony falls back into the ring on his back. Slingshot over the top rope and we see D get two knees to the gut on his splash attempt!
Tony Rios gets up, and pulls D to his feet, signaling for the DDT! D slips the hold and russian leg sweeps Tony, before using both legs and leg drop bridge pin Tony!
1…
2…..
KICKOUT! Tony gets out of it and back to a stance, as D now feels the confidence rising in his moves and where he wants to go with this one. A tie-up has both men pushing back and forth, before D sends Tony into the ropes, Tony ducks the clothesline attempt, D turns around and snap powerslam by Tony! D’s body splats on the canvas but is quickly followed up with a pinfall, but it’s only good for two.
Showing some fight, Tony pulls D up and sets him up for a powerbomb. Lifting him up onto his shoulders, D fights with closed fists, before flipping over his shoulders and rolling Tony Rios up for a pin!
1…
2…..
Shoulder up! Tony does it again, and the two fight back and forth for control, trading blows with one another. The crowd is split as the Openweight Champion gains traction and displays his aerial assault to make the comeback. D has his way with Tony for a series of moves before the Straight Jacket! Tony has it scouted, and knocks D off with a ripcord knee to the face!
Tony taunts for the fans to get behind him, and some do, cheering the man on as he lines up the kill shot on D who turns around after getting up and is kicked in the gut with a heavy boot! Piledriver position set, and Tony lifts D up, but he pushes off the thighs and turns it into a head scissors take down! D saves himself from the ‘End of Days’ trademark move that Tony Rios has claimed as his own.
Tony breaks the hold after D has brought him to the canvas, and the emotion is high, knowing full well a win here would get him a potential shot or at the very least in the conversation for a shot at the Openweight Championship. Tony Rios slaps the canvas, showing some frustration, as he rushes D in the corner! D gets speared into the turnbuckle, shoulder thrust after shoulder thrust, until D is motionless. Tony knows it’s time to finish it off, and lifts D to the top turnbuckle before climbing it to meet him there. Hooking his head, Tony Rios goes for a superplex, but D grabs the top rope and blocks it. A forearm to the ribs from D, another, and finally a headbutte, and Tony Rios falls off the ropes and onto his back! Senton splash from D onto Tony Rios!
Rios is dazed, and D sees his opening, but knows it’s not enough. He gets to his feet and grabs Rios who gets up, spinning him around, he goes for the Twisted Truth! Countered by Tony Rios! Reverse DDT impaler by Tony! Reversed by D now into another Twisted Truth and it connects!
1….
2……
3!
The bell sounds as the referee grabs the Openweight Title from the ring announcer and hands it to the rising athlete, the Enigma of the North, ‘D’ who has come out favorable in this close clash of two of Northern Pro’s talented stars.
Announcer: Winner of this match by pinfall, the OPENWEIGHT CHAMPION, ‘D’! (14:59)

[BACKSTAGE]
We find one half of the Imperial Crown Tag Team Champions, “Timeless” Alex Turner, sitting in catering, eating what appears to be a takeout tray from a high class restaurant. Next to him, wearing the tinniest of tube tops, is Roxylishus. She has what appears to be a cheesecake slice with fruit and caramel syrup. Good shit is what I’m saying.
"See? I told you this catering was beneath us! Look how delicious this is!"
"I never doubted you. Hey where’s the hairball? Weren’t we supposed to meet up here?"
"Eh he’s probably out getting his own … um … oh my …"
Roxy looks off camera and the camera spins to see Buttons waddling up to her, tongue lolling out, wearing a doggie business suit.
"If I didn’t know what a killer he was this would be the cutest thing…"
Primal appears next to Timeless from the other side and pats him on the back, startling Timeless and causing him to drop the corn on the cob from his meal.
"… I wanted that …"
"Don’t worry about it business partner! You can afford more right?"
"How the HELL do you manage to sneak up on us like this? Is that hair like stealth equipme… wait business partner?"
"Oh yes! I came to Alex earlier this morning and asked him to invest in my new business venture. Imperial Crown Comforts! As a tag team champion, I am using my new status to give the gift of anti-society to the world."
He and Buttons walk off camera for a second. Roxy gives Timeless the side-eye.
"WHAT did you DO?"
"Babe babe don’t worry about it. *he holds his hands up to her in a calm down motion* He asked me to sign on for 20% of all his profits and all it cost was the cost of a can of food for the dog! Even if it never succeeds all it cost was some food to keep our new heavy happy."
Roxy seems placated until she hears a loud thud. She turns to see Primal setting up a bunch of mannequins and podiums … and Buttons diving head first, business suit and all, into a can that could easily contain two humans lying down next to each other in the fetal position. Like it’s the size of a kiddie pool. Timeless’s eyes go wide.
"Yes sir that 2500 bucks you gave me went a long way to getting everything we needed to start up production."
"SAY WHAT!?"
"I gave you my credit card for food, how did you spend … where did you get that can of meat??"
"I know a specialty vendor. I usually order from there for myself. Anyhow the business is a rousing success if I say so myself!"
He claps Timeless on the back. Timeless puts his to go container down and pinches the bridge of his nose.
"What kind of stuff did you buy with 2500 American Dollars?"
"Spent 2400 on the food. The other hundo got me the business license for online sales and a website store front."
"What about materials? Labor? Do you have any idea how to run a business? I need to see my money ba-"
"Oh right!"
Primal slaps 7 grand into Timeless’s hand. Alex’s face contorts in confusion.
"Whoa! What is that!?"
"Well it was the first day of selling stuff so business was slow but 20% of profit works out to 7 grand. Sorry bud, it’ll go up soon."
Timeless is suddenly smiling and you’d swear there are dollar signs in his eyes.
"YOU MAD GENIUS YOU!"
Primal nods in agreement and straightens his tie … which is made of his hair … tie dyed …
"Turns out I’m a legend and in high demand and since materials and labor cost me nothing but my time, it’s all profit baby! I mean I have to send Mongo a .1% licensing fee for the XHF Network and Gus Arnold .2% for NPW … he’s a shrewd negotiator, but Mongo seemed preoccupied with getting me out of his office and planning a show and … getting me out of his office."
"I KNEW I liked you furball! *Buttons bats at her leg having eaten what had to be 1000 pounds of food with striking speed* You too little furball."
"Still it must take you forever to sew and knit together all these products?"
Primal beams with pride. His otherworldly hair and it’s odd properties are his secret weapon.
"ACTUALLY my dear Timeless, I’ve been using so much of my hair that I’ve managed to use my pure willpower and thought and mind itself to bend my hair to my will AS I remove it! It’s great."
".. I … what?"
Primal hands him an industrial razor.
"Here, shave my back slowly."
Timeless flinches and cringes. He tosses the razor to Roxy and throws his hands up.
"… You’re lucky I’m curious …"
Roxy slowly shaves his back, hair regrowing within seconds. The shaved hair falls to the floor in a rigid form until they have a 2 foot high statue depicting Anthony Caffrey slow dancing with Rob Arnold.
"… Well that’s a thing that happened."
Timeless sees the statue and laughs his ass off.
"Oh we are going to do great things together."
"Maybe I’ll make this one a gift …"
[Fade out.]

XHF Trios Semi Finals
No Time Limit
The ReVenants vs. HNDRXX/LVZ/Joseph Mack
--
Hot off the press, the ReVenants have been making a scene within the Northern Pro Wrestling ranks. On Honor recently, they took out the Spin Cycle, and not on a date. The trio of Rob Garcia, Neo James Carner, and Keith Williams put the world on notice, and with a spit fire promo that stirred the pot in the wrestling industry. Now they would face one of the most unorthodox teams in the Trios Tournament Semi-Final.
The ReVenants came to the ring in full force, making the crowd reactions lively with the chorus of boos and some cult-fans that made signs saying “Make me a ReV” and “ReV my Engine” from some of the females who took to group. The three men, Keith Williams, Neo James Carner, and Rob Garcia owned the ring on their entrance, and took to showing that this was where they belonged as they soaked in the reaction and waited for their opponents.
HNDRXX was a new man on the scene in NPW, but his skills were not to be undermined because of this. The young man has had an impact in other XHF companies, and shown his ability to work the ring like no other. Joseph Mack came out next, and was no stranger in Northern Pro. Joseph Mack some would say is the underdog waiting for the fight, and in many cases has shown he is very capable of main eventing. His match in the past year with Eric Dane was one of memories that fans came unglued for the star.
Tonight, Mack looked for some redemption with his Trios partners and a new opportunity at championship gold. Leon Van Zandt came out last, and with a burst of energy rushed the ring and wasted little time making his presence known. Spearing Keith Williams like he owed him lunch money, LVZ took the fight to the ReVs, and the bell tolled for the match to begin.
The referee got order right away by forcing the ReVs and the remaining partners of HNDRXX and Mack onto the aprons as LVZ and Keith rolled around trading blows. Keith forced LVZ off him and took it brawl style, knocking him back to the ropes, before an irish whip across the ring. LVZ hit the turnbuckle, side stepped, and Keith hit nothing but padding as he came running in for a clothesline. LVZ slips behind and hits a neckbreaker, going for a quick pin but Keith immediately kicks out and pushes LVZ off him.
A double leg takedown from Keith as he gets to his feet, LVZ is trapped as Keith puts a forearm in his face and locks a fuji armbar on him, controlling the pace of the match. Keith draws LVZ back to his side of the ring, still controlling the arm, as he tags in Rob Garcia, and holds LVZ for him; Garcia comes off the turnbuckles with a double axe handle smash to the back, sending LVZ to the canvas.
The Halifax arena is rocking as Garcia makes an example out of LVZ with snap suplexes and stretching the shoulder of the athlete, taunting his partners trying to bait them to come into the ring. Mack and HNDRXX on the apron look ready to explode, but hold their composure, waiting for the opportunity for a tag.
LVZ is picked up for a backdrop by Garcia, but flips over his shoulder, lands on his feet and bulldogs Garcia into the canvas! LVZ goes for the tag, but Garcia grabs him by the leg, and makes him miss by mere inches on HNDRXX’s outstretched hand. Garcia locks an ankle lock in, but LVZ rolls over and kicks him in the face, rolling out of the move and finally to his corner. HNDRXX gets the tag and comes in like a bat out of hell!
Tokyo Exorcist right off the bat to Garcia! HNDRXX picks apart Garcia with a technical expertise, breaking down the joints of the ReVs member until he is like clay in his hands. The size difference was a non-factor as HNDRXX found the weakness of his opponent and exploited them to show his ring prowess. Using the ropes, HNDRXX would backflip using the top rope to get out of an armbar Garcia would get on him, and deliver a Tiger Suplex!
1….
2….
The ReV’s own Keith Williams breaks up the count with a stiff kick to HNDRXX’s head. Garcia gets dragged closer to their corner, but the referee cuts off Keith from taking liberties and ushers him back to his corner. NJC tags Garcia as HNDRXX comes rushing at him with a forearm as he comes through the ropes, and the two battle it out into the ring, punch after punch, until HNDRXX hits a headlock takedown and turns it into a submission armbar with all his weight on the shoulder. Neo James Carner rolls backwards and goes for a roll up pin grabbing the tights.
1….
2….
Kickout with authority from HNDRXX! NJC gets to his feet, holding his shoulder from the damage done. HNDRXX is right behind him, and goes for German Supelx, but NJC grabs the ropes to halt his momentum, and tries to backwards low blow HNDRXX but he blocks it with his thighs, and then full nelson suplexes NJC onto his neck and back!
The crowd bursts into cheers, seeing the ReVenants get beat up was a jolt of electricity in the fans enthusiasm for the match. HNDRXX wasted no time and locked on an Indian Deathlock to NJC, forcing him to crawl to the ropes! Garcia comes running in and drops an elbow on HNDRXX to break the hold when it was getting to look like NJC may not make it. HNDRXX is fed up with the interferences, and throws NJC into his corner, tagging in Joseph Mack. You see the two say some words and Mack nods as he steps into the ring.
Mack presses his opponent and slams Carner in the center of the ring! The man was the epitome of strength in his biceps, abs, and flex with every movement he made. Joseph locked on a headlock and shook his head at the ReVenants corner as he looked to wear down Neo James Carner. Lifting him up still in the headlock, NJC finally steps on the foot of Mack to get some space, and elbows him in the gut, before bouncing off the ropes, ducking a closed fist and rebounding with a cross body! Mack catches him but the momentum sends him towards the ropes, and Keith Williams sends a kick into the back of Mack, forcing him to drop NJC. Mack is distracted, and takes a forearm blow to the back as NJC tags in Keith Williams. NJC sets him up by holding both arms, and Keith comes in like he is going to knee Mack, but instead pokes him in the eyes and then knees him in the gut!
Keith Williams high fives NJC before he leaves the ring, the ReVenants feeling in control as Keith adjusts his face guard and elbow strikes Mack across the chin. Clipping his knee, Mack goes down to the canvas, where Keith Williams locks on the camel clutch! Keith holds it on tight, leaning back as he smiles proudly at HNDRXX and LVZ, a smirk of arrogance only a mother could love.
The Great White Terror keeps the hold on as Mack finally grabs the bottom rope. Keith holds it to a four count by the referee before letting go and stomping the back of his opponent. Mack rolls over to his back, and Keith puts a foot on him, demanding the referee to count.
1…
Mack gets a shoulder off the canvas quickly, and shoves the foot away. Keith shuffle kicks him in the ribs for the gesture, and spits on the canvas where Mack was. Tagging in Rob Garcia, Keith grabs Mack by the leg and drags him back to their corner where Garcia drops a slingshot elbow from the apron into the ring! Garcia bounces off the ropes and dropkicks the rising Mack right into their corner, before distracting the referee and pointing to HNDRXX saying something loud and what comes off as abrasive, which makes HNDRXX want to come into the ring. HNDRXX is held back by the referee, and as this happens, Keith Williams and NJC beat on Joseph Mack in their corner. Garcia smiles as he comes back and hits a monkey flip on Mack! Looking around the ring, he sees the opening and ascends the turnbuckle! Flipping leg drop off the top rope from Rob Garcia to Joseph Mack!
1….
2….
LVZ breaks up the pin and saves their team from the loss. This however goes over like a fart in an elevator for the ReVs who all rush the ring, causing HNDRXX to enter as well! The referee has lost control of the match, as the two on three begins, with Joseph Mack on the canvas still. HNDRXX forearm smashes Garcia, Keith and NJC double team LVZ, all five fighting it out in the center of the ring.
HNDRXX hits a clothesline on Garcia to send him over the top rope! Keith comes through and bicycle kicks HNDRXX sending him through the middle rope to the outside beside Garcia. Mack is up, but wobbly. NJC superkicks LVZ and sends him out of the ring! Mack clotheslines NJC over the top rope right after! Keith Williams comes up from behind and low blows him as the referee is counting out Garcia! Mack gets shoved out of the ring by Keith, restarting the referee’s count, before Keith leaps off the top rope onto the pile of men on the outside with a front flip!
Unorthodox of the Great White Terror, but effective as he takes a risk and it pays off. Keith helps up NJC and Garcia, as the three begin to dismantle their opponents team. Grabbing Mack, they throw him into the ring. LVZ is tossed into the steel steps by a double team irish whip from Neo James Carner and Rob Garcia. HNDRXX slips into the ring, shaking Mack, who looks worse for wear. HNDRXX stands up and sees Garcia slide in, which he delivers a swift baseball slide kick to his shin, and trips up Garcia!
NJC rolls in after, as Keith smashes LVZ’s head off the steel steps! NJC and HNDRXX trade blows, left, right, left, right, the fists are flying before Garcia clothesline HNDRXX from behind. Mack gets to his feet and grabs NJC by the hair, which immediately results in a furious reaction from the ReVenant member! Headbutt! Mack is dazed! Another headbutt! Mack goes to a knee, and Garcia nods, as the two men rush the ropes, one goes high, the other low, and exterminator style take out the legs and head of Joseph Mack!
Keith sees the move from the outside and grabs HNDRXX’s leg from the apron, pulling him outside of the ring as Garcia goes for the cover and NJC braces for LVZ to come in.
1…..
2….
3!
LVZ slides in the ring just as the bell sounds, and NJC kicks him in the head. Rob Garcia gets up, as Keith Williams and HNDRXX finally split the bill on blows, but still looking at one another like they want to go! HNDRXX rolls into the ring and Garcia and Neo James Carner exit, joining Keith near the ramp.
Announcer: Winners of the Semi-Finals Trios Tournament Match, by pin fall, THE REVENANTS - Rob Garcia, Neo James Carner, and Keith Williams!

[Backstage.]
It’s after his match and “D” is heading back to his dressing room. He feels a motion as he opens his door. He catches an upholstery needle before it hits him right between the eyes and sends it right back at its source.
Esmeralda von Krauss plucks the needle out of the air and places it back in its holster high on her thigh.
Esmeralda von Krauss: I see your reflexes haven’t lost a step, dahling. You were lucky that I was taking it easy on you.
D: Like you took it easy on Joe Ghaven?
Esmeralda lowers her dress with a chuckle.
Esmeralda von Krauss: The monster was trying to crush me with his fists. I defended myself. I am just extra capable when I am defending myself.
D: What do you want?
Esmeralda moves before D can react, pressing herself against him so that he can get a lungful of her heady scent. She wraps her arms around him and clutches him tight.
Esmeralda von Krauss: I want you to stay away from Steve Awesome. The man will give me what I desire the most in this world and nothing will stop me.
D’s hand slides in between them to Esmeralda’s belly and down to over her womb.
D: I remember the wound. I don’t think anyone can give you what you desire the most in this world.
There is a knock at the door frame as Steve Awesome walks into the room.
Steve Awesome: Hey, D, I was thinking-WHAT IS THIS?
Steve looks at Esmeralda clutching onto D and D with his hand nearly on her hoo hah. Esmeralda releases D with a sinister smile, backing away.
Esmeralda von Krauss: Oh Steve, D had asked me to his room. I didn’t know the why of it until now.
D: Don’t listen to her. She is lying.
Steve Awesome: You just wanted to get her for yourself!
Steve Awesome spins around and storms away. D looks at Esmeralda von Krauss, who has a predatory smile.
Esmeralda von Krauss: Now, he has no reason to believe what you have to say. Have a good evening, dahling.
With that, Esmeralda leaves the room.

XHF Trios Semi-Final
No Time Limit
Team Fairtex/Psychotic Goth vs. Jay Stevens/Ronnie Long/Gordon Carlson
--
Before the match started, Jay Stevens took a mic, and accepted the challenge of Marcus Smith for a North American Cruiserweight Championship match at August on the Atlantic. The fans applauded the news, and the wrestling enthusiasts in the building were salivating over the potential work between the two heralded second generation wrestlers.
Not to overshadow the match itself, Stevens said his piece, and got down to business. His decision to team with Gordon Carlson and Ronnie Long had him in some elite company. Their opponents were no cliches in their own right, and have been very successful in SWAT. Goth most recently had a run as the World Champion, and these three have been locked in from the moment the Trios tournament was announced.
Gordon Carlson was noticeably on edge throughout the contest, and even had his teammates asking him what his deal was. Carlson brushed it off, but if looks could kill, we would all be dead. Carlson was a major cornerstone of Northern Pro Wrestling prior to the organization joining the XHF Network. Gordon had his hand in the creation of the North American Double Crown, but has largely been drifting away as an influx of new talent started to sign with the promotion. Sometimes it's time to spread one's wings to look for challenges elsewhere. Well, Carlson is back and he seems to be walking with a bit of a chip on his shoulder and is set to remind people of who he is, and what he's capable of.
Ronnie Long signing with NPW was a huge get for the team, and this would be the second opportunity he would have to showcase it. The Trio was solid from top to bottom, but lacked the experience as a team - which is where they would find themselves at a disadvantage as their opponents were very familiar with one and other.
The action was hard hitting for the most part. Psychotic Goth seemed extremely motivated and precise in his decision making. The fact that he had just lost the SWAT World Championship likely had something to do with it. Goth and Long were showing the fans what it was like to knock the tar out of one and other and be right there waiting for more. Neither man wanted to take a step backward, and it brought an extra level of intensity to the contest.
Jay Stevens showed his prolific skill set on the mat on numerous occasions. He had Tong Fairtex locked up in an STF, but Tong refused to tap. In fact, it was here where Team Fairtex broke up the attempt, isolated Jay, and used multiple five counts to work him over with legal double team moves. A running clothesline/German Suplex combo earned them a near fall.
Jay fought back heroically, and it was clear to see why the NPW faithful have fallen in love with the kid's potential, but also the way he carries himself in and out of the ring. Stevens would fight back valiantly to turn the tables back in favour of his team. A hellfire lariat, showing shades of his father was what sealed the comeback. A hot tag to Gordon Carlson followed, and it was here when things went sideways.
Carlson seemed intent on sending a message to his opponents, and seemed to be willing to ignore the authority in the ring to go about proving a point. His desire to fight anyone and everyone cut his hot tag short, as Team Fairtex took over and pummelled Carlson with double team attacks. The SWAT Trio looked fantastic in this contest, and one would have to believe that if they advanced, they would be a handful for anyone in the finals.
Carlson refused to stay down, and as blood spewed from his mouth area, he cracked a smile. Carlson's actions were bordering on concerning, as we know he has had concussion issues in recent times. Perhaps all of the violent wars and tough battles were starting to reveal themselves. The fans weren't chanting for a comeback, but gasping as Psychotic Goth took his turn to lace Carlson up with stiff strikes, before driving his head into the mat with a devastating DDT.
Tong jumped back into the ring, and looked to do his best to finish the contest, but it was as if Carlson had somehow woken up, and had one last burst of energy. The referee looked on, doing his best to examine whether or not Carlson was fit to continue competing in this contest. After a double leg take down, Carlson seemed to be fighting on instinct. Somehow, Carlson was able to transition into the sharpshooter, a move that he has been working on as of late to couple with his dragon sleeper submissions.
Carlson let out a battle cry and the referee noted that Tong has reached the bottom rope to break the hold. Instead of releasing the hold, Carlson sat back further looking to synch it in tighter and with more torque. The referee tried to force a break, but to no avail.
Ronnie Long could be heard asking for a tag, but Carlson ignored it. Long pleaded, saying they were going blow their chance to advance to Night of Champions if he wasn't careful. That's exactly what happened.
The referee was running out of options and warned Carlson. Carlson refused to break in time, and the referee had enough of his antics and called for the bell. Carlson laughed, knowing he had just been DQed, but seemed to take more pride in the fact that he took the best shots of his foes, and was able to inflict pain and suffering to one of their men.
Winners: Team Fairtex and Psychotic Goth
Jay Stevens and Ronnie Long hit the ring to try and reason with Carlson, but to no avail. Carlson wouldn't leave without a proper receipt though. Stevens and Long were frustrated and walked up the aisle, leaving Carlson behind. Goth and Team Fairtex got their licks in, and capped it off with a triple powerbomb to make a statement. They were unified in victory, and ready top challenge for the XHF Trios Championships!
The other finalist should beware, as Goth and Team Fairtex looked the part tonight, regardless of Carlson's antics. They should definitely be labelled as one of the favourites.
Gordon Carlson was slow getting to his feet. Team Fairtex and Psychotic Goth had left the ring area. A smirk curled over Carlson's lips, as if to say he enjoyed taking that level of punishment from his three opponents. The cheers that might typically follow didn't happen - instead, the crowd seemed in awe, and voices of concern rang through the arena.

XHF Trios Semi Finals
No Time Limit
The KGB vs. Donzig/Freakke/Takaru
--
It was a highly anticpated match with the KGB led by Mad Dog against the ragtag army of misfits created by Donzig! And the fans were ready for a war, and the KGB watched from their corner as the three had a quick discussion in the corner. Donzig in particular looked ready for a fight, clearly in a mood as he snarled at Takaru. Shortly, the KGB started with Eddie, and Donzig leapt at the chance to face the SWAT Champion.
The two squared off with Eddie using his power to early advantage before Donzig started to get the upper hand out of sheer defiance it seemed. But he quickly tagged in Freakke when Eddie tagged out. The Carnival King wasted no time, exchanging a flurry of moves with Armand before Von Krauss got a near pin. But Freakke fired back with a near pin of his own, before he made the tag to Takaru.
The King of Kyoto wasted no time bringing the fight to the KGB, battering away with Armand with a flurry of quick strikes and kicks before the tag was made to Soutter. The fans were loving the show, and Soutter quickly righted the ship by firing back at Takaru before a tag was made to Freakke.
They locked up, going back and forth before Freakke hit a hard DDT. He went for the pin, but Eddie made the save. And Soutter tagged in the SWAT Champion, who rained hard shots down on Freakke before flinging him at the corner. A blind tag was made by Takaru, and he was battering down Eddie as the crowd cheered. The SWAT Champion lifted Takaru over his head, pressing him before he slammed him down on the mat! The fans booed, and Eddie stomped on his back before he rolled him up for the pin!
1....
2....
And Takaru kicks out, Eddie fumes and narrowly misses stopping him from making the tag. The fans popped as Donzig entered the match again, and he barreled right at Eddie to chopblock him. The champ staggered and Donzig pounced, raining stiff punches on Eddie before he raked at his eyes. Then he hit the ropes, coming off with a huge face buster. A glare cast at the KGB, and then he went for the tag.
1...
Eddie flung Donzig off, and rolled to his corner to tag in Armand. And the fans were cheering as the mastermind of the KGB was soon staring down the Herald of Oblivion in the center of the ring. They nodded at each other, circling slowly before they locked up. They pushed each other back and forth, and then Freakke made the blind tag as they reached their corner. Donzig glared at him as he slid outside the ropes, and then Freakke was unleashing on Armand. Armand however was not finished, and drove Freakke into the mat with a suplex. When Freakke rose, he threw him at the corner before catching him with a hip toss on the rebound.
Freakke was in trouble, and Armand pulled him back to his feet to call for his finisher. Freakke shoved him back, barely escaping the Drilltip to tag in Takaru. The self-proclaimed King of Fighters circled around the ring, and then launched himself at Armand with a series of hard kicks and punches. Driving Armand for the corner, and then he flung off him off to catch him with a hard knee to the stomach. The fans cheered, and Takaru dropped back as he called for the Kinshasa.
Armand's henchmen had other ideas though, bursting from the crowd to drag Armand from the ring. The fans booed, and then Freakke ran across the ring to come over the ropes with a dive to send them all sprawling to the outside. The ref started to count, and the fans were going wild as Takaru was clearly ready for more. He ran across the ring, throwing an elbow into Eddie's face before he yanked Soutter over the ropes to catch him with a hard kick as he rose.
Freakke was on the outside now, brawling with the henchmen as they went into the crowd. And the place was going wild, as Armand slid into the ring to tag Eddie. The big man entered the ring with a roar, and fairly throw Takaru into the ropes. He caught him in a bear hug on the rebound, squeezing the fight from him. The fans booed, and Eddie soon dropped him before slamming him with a quick scoop slam. Takaru tried to stuggle back to his feet, but another suplex sent him sprawling.
Eddie laughed at the glaring Donzig, and made the tag to Soutter. And Suit wasted no time in unleashing his anger on him, chopping away at his chest before he planted him with a DDT. The fans booed, and Freakke was still fighting off the Henchmen in the first few rows. But Soutter called for the powerbomb, and Takaru slid off his shoulders to fairly leap for the tag.
Donzig jerked his hand away, and stared hard at him. Takaru stared back, and then caught Soutter with a spinning heel kick as he closed in. The fans cheered, and Takaru dropped back to launch the Kinshasa as Soutter staggered back. The fans went wild, and Suit toppled as the pin was made.

2....
Thr---
And the ref was ripped from the ring by Sinclair! The fans were stunned, even as she hit him with the Black Mist. The ref grabbed at his eyes, wiping at them as he fell. Takaru stared, and Donzig was in the ring. He ripped his partner to his feet, screaming in rage before he caught him with the Stunner. The fans booed, jeering as Donzig leapt on him with a rain of punches. And then he was on his feet, howling at the KGB to get him a chair.
Soutter laughed, and Eddie stared in surprise as Armand slid a chair into the ring. Donzig grabbed the chair, and slammed it against the mat as Takaru started to rise. But Freakke dove into the ring, shouting at his friend as he grabbed for the chair. Donzig snarled something at him, jerking the chair away as he and Freakke exchanged words. The chair rose again, and Freakke grabbed for it. Then it slammed down across his head, and the place went wild as the KGB stared in disbelief.
Donzig spat angrily, and shook his head at the downed Freakke before he motioned for Eddie and Soutter to lift Takaru. They dragged him to his knees, and Donzig cracked the chair across his head before he threw it aside. Then he shoved Freakke to the outside, and Sinclair Godfrey pushed the blinded and confused ref inside. Soutter made the pin, and the half blind ref made the quick count!
1....
2....
3!
The KGB celebrated as Donzig stared down at Freakke and Takaru, an arm around Sinclair Godfrey before he fist bumped Soutter.
Winner: The KGB
The KGB celebrated as Donzig stared down at Freakke and Takaru, an arm around Sinclair Godfrey before he fist-bumped Soutter. The crowd registered their disgust in full volume, and the KGB wasn't done yet. With Armand seemingly barking instructions, Donzig, Soutter and Eddie tie Freakke up in the ropes. Takaru is still down, reeling from the chair shot to the head. The bell repeatedly rings as the ref waves his arms, but a stiff punch from Donzig puts the official down and out. Sinclair Godfrey laughs.
The atmosphere inside the arena is poisonous. The crowd is livid. Security struggles with fans as they attempt to leap the guardrail to get at the KGB, and Donzig especially. He sneers at them from the ring, making the situation worse. Soutter and Eddie lay in fists on Freakke, who hangs limply from the ropes. He's out like a light. Armand struts around the ring, chest puffed out, enjoying the chaos. He directs Donzig to get the same chair that felled Takaru.
If Freakke takes a chair shot to the skull in his current state, the consequences could be deadly.
Armand urges Donzig on, Donzig pulls back on the chair…
…and electronic beeping fills the arena, shortly followed by the chaotic, surging guitar intro of "Take if Easy, Chicken" by Mansun. The crowd comes UNGLUED! Eddie D, Soutter, and Donzig look a little perplexed, but there's a fleeting expression of horror on Armand's face. He knows exactly what's coming.
The song reaches its first chorus under a sea of blue, red, and white lights on the entrance ramp, and the famous trio of Rob Riot, Frank Windsor, and Billy Fowler walk into the arena. The Bastards have arrived in NPW.
The chant of “HO-LEE-SHIT” is so loud it’s shaking the camera as the Englishmen take the reaction in. Riot motions for a microphone. Somebody obliges.
[...]
ROB RIOT: Hello, Armand. Long time no see. Tell me, you didn’t really fall for that little promo video we aired earlier, did you? The argument between Frank and Billy? Us being stuck in a car in England? That, my old non-friend, was stagecraft. This is reality, and you’re not going to like it.
In the ring, Armand points at the Bastards and then points back at his newly-expanded KGB. He raises five fingers on one hand and then three on the other, indicating his numerical advantage. The KGB has Armand, Sinclair Godfrey, Eddie D, Soutter, and Donzig. The Bastards are but three. Riot strokes his chin as if considering the situation and then hands the mic to Windsor.
FRANK WINDSOR: Yeah. Um. I’m not sure how to tell you this, old man, but you read the room wrong. We told you the Bastards were coming to NPW…
He passed the mic to Fowler to finish the message.
BILLY FOWLER: But we never said we were coming alone.
Armand’s eyes widen. The Bastards grin. Another song bursts through the arena’s PA. This time it’s “Skeleton Dance” by Precious McKenzie. Somehow, the crowd finds its way to another level. It’s deafening in the arena. Armand takes a step back. The rest of the KGB look to him for an explanation, but he’s temporarily stunned.
Through the curtains come “The Nightmare” Chris Parsons carrying a “GSP” flag, Andrew Morgan, Kintaru, “Big” Edward Zepp, and Greg Adkins!
It’s not just the Bastards - the entire “Galactic Sex Pirates” team from “A Call To Arms” has landed in XHF - and they’ve brought friends!
The full squad lines up either side of the three Bastards. Kintaru briefly peers over his glasses. Parsons waves his flag defiantly. Morgan slams his knuckles together, and it’s time. The eight-man faction charges the ring….
….and the KGB bails out, to a shower of boos from the crowd…
…but the GSP have Eddie by the leg! Soutter tries to pull Eddie to freedom, but Zepp has him by the leg, and Adkins grabs an arm! They haul him back in and pull him to his feet, launching him at Riot and Windsor. Taking a leg each, they propel him into the air, where the giant figure of Fowler catches him with a falling cutter. For the first time in three years, the Bastards hit someone with HARD BREXIT. The crowd loves it!
Morgan sets about the task of freeing Freakke from the ropes as Kintaru - with a seeming touch of reluctance - makes sure Takaru is OK. Riot, Windsor, and Fowler glare down at their handiwork. The KGB pace outside the ring, seething, but don’t re-enter. Parsons grabs a mic.
CHRIS PARSONS: And if you didn’t know then, kids, you know now. This isn’t an invasion. It’s not a takeover. This is a victory. Northern Pro Wrestling just became ours in a heartbeat…
Riot leans in to add a closing thought…
ROB RIOT: …and we’re just getting started.
With the arena in chaos, NPW takes a scheduled break.

(The tron shows Commandrix somewhere in the arena a figure standing behind her the face blacked out and breathing ominously as she smiles.)
Commandrix: "Hello NPW ringsiders and to all you know me I am Commandrix of The dark Novas and tonight on Shockwave. I shall be sending huge shockwaves throughout the NPW and SWAT in the three way SWAT Amazons Women's Championship match between myself, Isabel Rios and Sinclair Godfrey."
(She smiles the glint in her eyes brighter.)
Commandrix: "Tonight Sinclair you seem to talk like you already won the three way, but all you are is a loser and tonight like in the Anzac Cup you shall be a true loser. Last time you were lucky to have defeated me but tonight the stakes are so high that even you can't see it. You and me and Isabel Rios are the Alpha females of the Amazons. There can only be one true Alpha female and that's going to be me. It's going to be Commandrix."
(She motions with her arms.)
Commandrix: "So Sinclair where's this mother ship you claim to have seen The Dark Stars and Dark Novas travelling in. Where are your Star Chasers you recruited....Oh wait I ordered them turned into piles of ashes and they are in a safe place. At least for now they are safe and I may decide to revive them if I decide too. Frankly I don't care which choice I make as far as they are concerned. You shall never find them or
us. Just give it up Sinclair because no one shall help you find us or even succeed in finding us. It's like I said. I am here. I am here. I am everywhere."
(Commanxdrix looks into the camera all business.)
Commandrix: "Now to you Isabel Rios. You enjoy paid for vacations to film commercials for your energy drink. Now we shall see if you were actually putting in the work to prepare for this match. We shall see if you are dedicated to being the true Alpha female of the SWAT Amazons Division. Are you truly up to it Isabel Rios. I have been preparing and watching you and Sinclair for quite sometime since the last time. So do not think I'm the same Commandrix since I am not. So tonight at Shockwave there's no backing out or turning back. There's going to be a new
top SWAT Amazon Women's Champion and it's going to be me Commandrix."
(The mysterious figure roars.)
Commandrix: "No you shall not reveal yourself yet my friend. Do what you need to do before you reveal yourself."
(The mysterious figure growls but grows silent.)
Commandrix: "Be assured this is going to be between the three of us and the three of us alone. There shall be no excuses and when everything is said and done. There shall be a new SWAT Amazons Women's Champion and the name Commandrix shall be announced the winner. It's inevitable."
(The tron blacks out.)

Amazon Championship Match
30 Minute Time Limit
Isabel Rios (c) vs. Commandrix vs. Sinclair Godfrey
--
Isabel Rios has been making waves as of late with strong performances at Call to Arms while also defending the Amazon's championship against all comers. Recently, our champion declared that her championship was the most important Women's Championship in all of wrestling. With high profile matches such as these in the co-main event of an XHF/NPW coproduced event - she has the right to make such bold statements. The kicker? She believes it. Until someone can prove otherwise or put an end to her reign, those who disagree are just going to have to live with it.
Rios and Commandrix have been trading insults and fists for months now. Commandrix has trolled Rios about her allegiance to NPW, and insinuated she was chasing glory in another promotion. The Dark Novas have done their best to make life miserable for Rios for the past few months, and haven't taken a step back in their words or actions since they competed against one and other this past winter.
Due to Sinclair Godfrey's recent performance against Commandrix a couple of weeks ago, she has earned her way into this contest with an opportunity to bypass the proverbial line, and take the championship away from Rios in one fell swoop. The stakes were high, and this match would be contested under tornado rules, and all three patriciants would be able to steal a pinfall out of nowhere should an opportunity arise.
As you might expect, this match was stiff, and hard hitting. There was a lot at stake, and a lot to prove. With SWAT also being a fertile ground for opportunities, it wouldn't be out of the real of possibilities for the participants in this match to find opportunity there as well in key situations. The two challengers both made no bones over the fact that they felt it was in their best interest to target Rios early and often. A double snap suplex followed by stereo elbow drops was an early highlight. Both women had the same idea in mind, and went for the cover at the same time, which lead to some awkwardness. The referee wouldn't count, and this promoted Sinclair to stiffen Commandrix up with a tight forearm shot.
As Rios did her best to regain her composure, she realized that it wouldn't take long for her opponents to realize the levity of the moment, and turn their respective attention towards one and other. The fans were impressed with the hard hitting action. Sinclair was able to drop kick Commandrix through the ropes. As he was about to go for a suicide dive, she was cut off by Rios and blasted her with a nasty clothesline that turned her inside out...
Rios made a notion that she was going to go for the Redtail driver, but she wasn't able to get Sinclair situated properly, and Sinclair spun out of the position and hit Rios with a reverse neckbreaker.
A lateral press followed, but she wasn't able to get even a two count. COmmadirx slid under the bottom rope and blindsided Sinclair with a stiff yakuza kick! A standing shooting star press onto Rios follows in succession.
1.
2..
NO!
Rios was able to kick out with force.
Commandrix went into top position and blasted the champion with some stuff punches. She reared back for a big one, but Sinclair grabbed her arm, twisted it, and ended up taking her down with a Fujiwara Armbar!! Sinclair was wrenching Commandrix's arm with as much torque as she could muster, The fans were stirring as the arm lock was in tight!
Would she tap?
NO!! Commandrix refused. Rios leapt forward and double axe handled Sinclair to break the hold! Commandrix snarled, and was met with a super kick!
WHACK!
1..
2.
NO! Sinclair makes the save!
That was close, as the super kick caught Commandrix clean. It was as if she didn't see it coming! Those types of strikes are the hardest to defend, and when they connect, the result is usually lights out. Sinclair took Rios down with a double leg and looked to exert herself in the dominant position, but Rios bucked her off, swept her, and ended up on top. Rios was working to find a way to slide in under Sinclair's neck. Suddenly, she was around behind and locked Sinclair up in a dragon sleeper!!
Would she?
Will she??
WHAM!!
Commandrix lunged forward and executed a diving cutter on Rios to break the hold! She fell into the pinfall
1..
2..
KICKOUT
[Clap Clap Clap.]
Let's go Rios
Let's go Novas
Let's go Sin-Clair
The fans were showing for their respective favourites, adding that layer of intensity to this championship match.
Rios got to her feet, WHAM! Stereo superkicks from Sinclair and Commandrix. Rios slumped to the ground. Both challengers looked at eacother, and they double hip tossed Rios out of the ring, down to the arena floor!
They nodded to each other, started to circle for a collar and elbow. It appears to have been their latest strategy to present Rios with her worse fear. She could lose her championship and not factor into the decision. The cameral looked, and Rios was struggling to get to her feet.
Sinclair executed a go behind on Commandrix and hit her with a release German Suplex. Rios was climbing to her feet, while using the ropes for leverage. Sinclair rushed forward and knee lifted Rios as she got on the apron. Rios held onto the ropes, trying to keep her balance!
Godfrey walked back a few steps and dropkicked Rios in the face, knocking her off her perch, and sending her crashing into the guardrail.
OHHHHHH!
Rios hit the floor hard in a heap! The fans leaned over the guardrail to check on her, but she wasn't moving very much.
Commandrix crept up behind Sinclair.
School boy!!!

NO!!!!!!!!!
2.9!
Commandrix thought she had it!
The element of surprise nearly settled the score between Sinclair and Commandrix, but it wasn't to be. Both ladies were back to their feet, and throwing stiff shots at one and other. Sinclair tipped the scales in her favour, and then executed a nice exploder suplex! Sinclair climbed to the second rope and jumped off with a nicely executed elbow drop across the sternum of Commandrix. She held for the cover.
1..
2..
No!
Sinclair looked up at the ref, asking how close it was. Rios meanwhile was starting to stir a but on the outside, but still looking a little worse for wear. Sinclair picked Commandrix up, but a short elbow to the rib followed from Commandrix, doing her best to fight back and stay in this contest. Sinclair folded over, SNAP DDT from Commandrix out of nowhere.
Both ladies were on the mat, doing their best to catch their breath and regain their composure, and in that order. The fans were doing their best to encourage someone to seize the moment and capture the championship. Finally Sinclair and Commandrix were both up, a wild swing from Sinclair was ducked, front kick, Brain Buster!!!
Commandrix drove Sinclair head first into the mat with as much force as she could muster. This has to be it.
WHACCCK!!!
A blistering super kick from out of nowhere from Rios on Commandrix, knocking her out of the picture. Rios sprawls on top of the prone Sinclair. The referee is in position..
1..
2..
3!
Here is your winner and STILL The Amazon's Champion: Isabel Rios!
What a hard fought match. Rios is still shaking the cobwebs, and ended up securing the victory on what had to be pure instincts!
Rios rolled out of harms way, and the referee handed over her Championship, which she was successful in defending. However, both of her opponents proved to be excellent challengers, and should both have an opportunity to challenge once again in the future. Commandrix thought she had the match won, but her victory was snatched away. As for Sinclair, what a huge statement she has made in NPW so far in such a short period of time.
The final shot is of the NPW fans cheering for their hero, Isabel. Rios finds it within herself to raise the championship aloft, but holds her ribs before long.

Grudge Match
No Time Limit
Jesse Jamester vs. Eron Hunter
--
It was time to settle the score. After months and months of these two men butting heads, the fans were finally going to see them settle it inside of the ring in a one on one contest. Jesse Jamester approached Eron Hunter about working together, while also hoping that when Eron agreed, he could have Eron help train his son Julius. Based on Eron's moral code, and who Jesse was working with at the time, Hunter just never felt like he was going to be capable of working together.
After Hunter spurned JJ's offer, it lead to the Canadian Nightmare seeking various measures of revenge. On multiple occasions, Jesse would inset himself in Hunter's matches to ruin things for the young warrior. Through it all, Hunter kept working hard, and refuse to stoop down to JJ's level at any point in time. Hunter is a self professed loner, and he's quite comfortable going about his business on his own terms, and living with the results whether they be positive or negative.
It wasn't until a recent tag team match where Eron Hunter and the current North American Double Crown Champion; Lord DOminicus would wrestle John Cavanagh and Jesse Jamester, that Hunter would be able to exact a measure of revenge. Hunter's revenge came within the confine's of an actual wrestling match, and not as a cheap shot, or a blindside. Hunter would execute a powerbomb off of the ring apron to the arena floor, which would end up securing the victory for his team.
There is no mistaking the fact that Eron Hunter has been a pillar of Northern Pro Wrestling from the moment he signed his contract under the moniker of Lynx back in the summer of 2020. After a knee injury kept him out of action for a few months, Hunter returned sans mask, and with a new outlook and perspective on his life, and professional wrestling career. Hunter's journey would come full circle when he outlasted seven other of the best Cruiserweights from around the globe to secure his place atop the pecking order. Hunter winning the 3rd Annual Cruisereight Cup made him a household name, and shot him to the top of everyone's break out candidate list for 2021.
The journey from that point, is partly why we see Hunter in such a high profile match against the Canadian Nightmare. Jesse is a former co holder of the Imperial Crown Tag Team Championships, and has soared to the top of the XHF's global rankings after is stand out performances against 'Subject to Change', and the XHF Royal Rumble. Some experts had Jesse pegged as the favourite to win the rumble, and although he would fall short of victory, it was clear that 'The Canadian Nightmare' was a budding Superstar. Add to the fact, that Gus Arnold tasked Jesse with recruiting Northern Pro's team for Call to Arms. - it would appear as though Northern Pro's brass have been keeping close tabs on Jesse's ascent to the top of the marquee.
Whether or not people want to accept it or not, Jesse Jamester has emerged as one of the cornerstones of Northern Pro Wrestling in short order. Based on his actions, motives and outlooks - Jesse has made it abundantly clear that Northern Pro Wrestling is his home, and that this is where he plans to stay.
Stylistically, experts viewed this contest as much more than a high flyer against a technical wrestler with power notes. Hunter had shown an ability to fight above his weight class and remain successful on many occasions. Jesse has also shown he has the gas tank and endurance to keep his intensity and performance at a high level with minimal drop off.
As these two warriors dove into each other for their initial collar and elbow tie up, the arena roared with approval. Finally, this match was underway, and these two would hold the crowd in the palm of their hands throughout.
It became clear early on that Hunter was going to be right in JJ's face all match, and intimidation tactics weren't going to fly. That, coupled with the fact that JJ lit Hunter up with some stiff strikes early on, and Hunter kept coming forward was most certainly a tell tale sign that Hunter was expecting to be in a WAR.
Jesse would shrug his shoulders and rare back with stiff shots, not wanting to let Hunter get into his head. The fans cringed, as a few of the shots sounded and looked vicious. Hunter hit the mat hard, but would raise his head, smirk, and get back to hit feet. After a wild right hook missed, Hunter executed a spinning back kick to the gut, followed by a falling face slam! JJ had hit the mat for the first time, and the fans roared as they believed that despite the size difference, Hunter had a chance to pull out a victory.
Hunter bounced up, hit the ropes and slid into a diving leg drop with immense speed. A lateral press followed, but it wouldn't net Hunter even a two count.
A low leg lariat to JJ as he got to his feet, worked, as it caught JJ off balance and brought him back down to the mat. A basement dropkick to the mush followed!
WHACK!
Hunter exited through the ropes, and slingshotted himself from the apron onto the fallen JJ with a sexton bomb!! Another pin attempt.
1..
2..
NO!
Hunter stayed the course, mounted JJ and laced into him with some open hand strikes from top position. JJ did his best to roll with the punches, and kept his hands high to deflect and block as much as he could. Hunter roared back from behind his head for another shit but the distance allowed JJ to slip his leg out, and simultaneously hip escape, and sweep Hunter! Jesse showed excellent ground awareness and acumen with that counter, and now he had a hold of Hunter's arm from top position. He leaned back, and looked to hyper extend Hunter's elbow with a cross arm breaker!
It was in tight!
Hunter wiggled, and tried to stack JJ, but JJ powered out of it, and held onto the arm. Hunter was squirming, in obvious pain. Luckily, Hunter was able to clasp the bottom rope with both feet, and let the referee know that he had been able to do so. The referee forced the break, but JJ held onto the submission for a moment or two before agreeing to break.
These little shortcuts could add up in the long run. Jesse had been wrenching on Hunter's arm for nearly eight seconds before he was able to finally use the ropes. Hunter tried to shake his arm back into form, get the blood flowing in all of the proper ways. As he was doing so, JJ ran in and kneed Hunter in the gut, which folded him forward. JJ wrapped Hunter's arms, and lifted him to the sky, and fell downward with a butterfly suplex Driver!!!
1...
2..
NO!
Close call, but Hunter was able to kick out.
JJ thought he had it there, and made it clear the official that he thought his count was a little slow. The referee brushed JJ back, and was offended that his integrity was coming into question. The crowd then started to rally behind Hunter, they'd seen him eat some big shots, have his head driven to the canvas, and his arm nearly torn out of it's socket. But there he was, getting back to his feet, refusing to fail.
Jesse shook his head, thinking that lesser men would've succumb to the onslaught by now. Hunter got up, and LARIAT!!
Jesse turned Hunter inside out with a nasty lariat. He got all of it.
1..
2..
NO!
Hunter once again was able to get his shoulders off the mat before the referee would count to three.
The fans were willing Hunter back up.
[Let's go Hunter!]
[Clap Clap Clap Clap Clap.]
Jesse ran forward with his boot extended, looking to make contact, but Hunter side stepped it, and rolled him up from behind.
1..
2..
NO!!
So close. The spur of the moment reversal nearly won Hunter the match. JJ's eyes widened, even through his mark we could sense that he knew he was lucky to have been able to get his shoulders up in time.
JJ was up first, surprisingly and ventured to keep the offence going, but Hunter fired up, and caught JJ in the chops flush with an uppercut, open handed strike. It seemed to have rung JJ's bell, as he looked stunned initially, which is where Hunter quickly used the second rope for more force and dove off with a clothesline of his own, that knocked JJ to the canvas.
Hunter was clearly trying to gather himself, and needed that spurt to regain composure and do his best to fight his way back into this match. The fans were doing their part to encourage him to keep fighting. As JJ crept back to his feet, Hunter could be the first to strike, as he executed a perfect dropkick, that sent JJ through the ropes and onto the arena floor.
RAAAAAAAHHHH!
[Ohhhhhhh.]
Hunter hit the ropes, and used his body as a weapon by somersaulting over the top rope and crash landed on top of JJ who was just getting to his feet.
[Let's go Hunter!]
[Let's go Hunter!]
Hunter got back up on the apron, ran the line and leapt off and landed a perfect shooting star press on the prone JJ. While he couldn't make the cover, he knew he was starting to even the odds of the match, and as it hit the twelve minute mark, one could argue that he propelled himself to the lead.
Hunter rolled into the ring, and broke the count. Not wanting to win it via count out, he knew that wasn't going to silence anyone or prove who was the better man. Some might argue this was a foolish move, but this was the type of competitor Eron Hunter is. He's looking to secure wins inside of the ring, no short cut, warrior spirit!
Hunter then rolled JJ back under the bottom rope, used the top rope to slingshot himself inside one more time, and landed a stiff leg drop!
1..
2..
THNO!
Jesse was able to get his shoulder up.
OHHHHH!
The fans thought he had him there. Jesse showed great resiliency and ring awareness to power out of that cover as he wasn't able to reach the ropes.
Hunter looked into the stands, which brought the crowd to their feet. It was as if the audience was ready to jump the guardrail at a moment's notice to help in anyway possible.
Hunter did mis-step, as he brought JJ back to his feet looking to execute more offence, but JJ snuffed it out, and ended up getting Hunter up in a power bomb position! JJ had Hunter up and brought him crashing down!
WHAM!
But wait..
Hunter wrapped his legs tightly around JJ's neck while in the air, and was able to weather the storm on the powerbomb, and lock JJ up in a triangle choke!!
Once the fans realized what was happening, as JJ's snuggled to free himself, while waving his hand to show the referee he wasn't going to quit! The referee was right there.
RAAAAAHHH!!!!
JJ was starting to fade. Could this be it?
Little by little, JJ's body started to slow down.
Hunter was pulling down on the back of JJ's head, looking to apply max pressure!
Up..
Down..
That's 1..
[...]
Up...
Down..
That's 2...
Is he Out?
Up..
Do..
NO!!!
JJ won't quit. He finds the strength and gusto to pick Hunter up while still locked up in the choke and slams him!!! Hunter's head hit the mat, and he appears to out! Oh WOW! What a turn of events!!
Both men are on the mat, face up, breathing heavy. Hunter appears to be counting sheep, and JJ is doing his best to get wind back in his sails. The referee is counting. He reaches 5, before Hunter and JJ both get to one knee. We now know it won't be a 10 count, as the referee puts his hands in his pockets.
Hunter is up, JJ is up.
RAAAAHHHH
[Clap.]
[Clap.]
[Clap.]
BOOM!
JJ strikes.
Hunter Stikes.
JJ.
Hunter.
JJ.
Hunter.
Hunter.
Hunter!
JJ falls back into the ropes, Hunter pushed forward, Irish Whip. Clothesline attempt, ducked by JJ, JJ clothesline attempt, ducked by Hunter... They Clothesline Each other!! Oh wow, What impact!! These two collided full speed, and hammered each other.
[...]
Wait a minute!
The referee is in position.
He's counting.
1..
2..
3!!
Ding Ding Ding!
Oh. My.
WHAT?!?
[...]
The referee walks over to Jesse Jamester and grabs his right arm, raising it!
You're kidding me?
What. The. Heck.
JJ's arm fell onto Hunter ever so slightly while both men were down, and the referee counted Hunter's shoulders down. This is unbelievable.
A closer second look from the JumboTron shows that when both men collided at full speed and hammered each other, that JJ's left arm happened to be on top of Hunter's chest. While it might've been instinct of luck, JJ was in a pinning situation and the referee's keen eye caught it before anyone else could.
[The fans are stunned.]
The Winner of the Match: Jesse Jamester
[The fans waited, watching, anticipating.]
Jesse got to his feet, and the referee raised his hand once again. To his credit, Jesse seemed to show that he knew what he was doing in a last ditch effort to apply the pinfall. The fans applaud the efforts of both men, as Jesse holds his jaw, suggesting that Hunter hit him with everything he had.
A few moments passed, and Eron Hunter finally got to his feet, holding the back of his head. He looked around, and the referee confirmed what has happened. Hunter looked disappointed, but this prompted the crowd to serenade him with cheers.
[Thank you Hunter!]
[Clap Clap.]
[Thank You Hunter!]
[Clap Clap.]
Hunter waved and bowed his head.
Just then, Jesse Jamester puffed out his chest and walked up to Hunter. Hunter put his hands up, ready to continue their battle.
[Silence.]
[Whispers.]
[...]
[WOW!]
Jesse extends his hand to Hunter.
[The crowd is buzzing.]
Hunter looks around, unsure of what to do next. These two just went through an absolute war.
[...]
RAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!
He accepted!
In the middle of the ring, The Canadian Nightmare and Eron Hunter just shook hands! The audience can't believe it!
Jesse than raises Hunter's arm high and points to him.
[What an emotional moment.]
[The fans are going crazy.]
[NPW!]
[NPW]
[NPW!]
Our show fades away with the final shot of the two rivals sharing a moment in the middle of the ring of respect and honour. Perhaps the recent events surrounding Julius prompted this. Perhaps it was the battle we just witnessed, and new found respect was forged. Perhaps, just maybe... Jesse Jamester isn't as awful as he's been made out to be. Or maybe, just maybe - Eron Hunter has a way of capturing the mind, the spirit and the imagination of everyone he comes into contact with.
Both competitors soak in the crowd response.
[Cut.]

1....
2....
Thr---
And the ref was ripped from the ring by Sinclair!

2..

[Cut.]
