Opening the show off with a singles bout, Donzig went up against Shane Severe in his first of two matches for the evening. In his short time with NPW, Donzig has made allies, turned on a friend, and shaken up the roster with his antics and determination to put his name on the map. What Donzig was capable of was still an unknown question plaguing the locker room, but with each passing show he has shown up with a consistent attitude to make his name mean something.
Donzig would make short work of Shane Severe, unleashing a series of suplexes! A showcase of suplex maneuvers would leave Shane looking dazed before Donzig dropped him with a brain buster! Shane kicked out with barely a nanosecond left, and Donzig looked at him with his eerie mask - like Shane had disrespected him by doing so.
Donzig grabbed Shane by the hair and slapped him across the face, as he motioned to the crowd of the young man’s resilient nature. It was all for show, as Donzig lifted Shane up, who defied him with an elbow and started fighting back! Donzig Stunner! That was all she wrote. Donzig took Shane by the neck and lifted him from the canvas after the match, delivering one more Donzig Stunner before he slid backwards out of the ring as medics came down to check on Shane Severe. The message was sent, Donzig was not going silent into the night - Donzig wanted the OpenWeight Championship, and D would find that out first hand later tonight. (7:01)
“Electric Lady” by Janelle Monae screamed across the sound system of the The ScotiaBank Centre arena. Out came the new young star Andi Snow, hailing from Beverly Hills, California. Andi Snow sported an athletic and tan build, fitting for the California woman, as she sprung up to the apron and over the top rope to stand face to face with her opponent Wex Lesley. Wex would show no fear and not back down, as she went face to face with Andi before the referee stepped between them.
Starting off the match, Andi Snow showed her gymnastics with a wrist lock cartwheel before elbowing her opponent in the back of the neck and shooting her off the ropes. Leapfrogging Wex on the rebound, Andi hip tossed her and delivered a split leg drop across her chest for a quick one count. Wex showed she wouldn’t give up, and fought back to a stance while going for a belly-to-belly. Snow hit the canvas and popped right up, showing her flexibility as she spun around with a roundhouse kick that caught the neck of Wex and folder her up!
Wex would fight back again, sending Snow to the corner on a counter irish whip. An avalanche hits and Wex back body drops Snow into the center of the ring. Coming off the top rope she catches two knees to the abdomen from Snow, before Snow sets her up and executes the Snow Storm! That was all she wrote, as Andi Snow took home the win in this debut match with Wex Lesley. A powerful performance by the newcomer Andi Snow, winning with a pin fall. (9:19)
The New Untouchables have been rising to the occasion and making ripples in the NPW Tag Team pond. With a stacked division and new challenges coming for the two young athletes, it was only a matter of time before they would see the opportunity at the gold that Prime Time was holding.
Jeffrey Daniels and Lee Scott Rothlesberger showed off early with team work making the match exciting. From plancha jumps off one another’s backs, to a cradle flipping pile driver with the spike from Jeffrey for good measure. The New Untouchables put the fly in high flyer, with extraordinary displays with their aerial assault. The Evanston Express we’re taking a beating like they’d had a bad lunch before hand, and would suffer for their unpreparedness against the young superstars.
Superkick! Superkick! SUPERKICK! From single to a double, the New Untouchables planted their favorite move on each of the Evanston Express and then doubled up as the crowd chanted their move’s name as they landed the double superkick on David Slater for the win! (13:51)
The Timeless Tryout was becoming a staple to the NPW second show Honor. Alex Turner had carved out a singles run for the ages. With his recent streak winning him a feature at August on the Atlantic, he had one more opponent before he would arrive at the two day event and show off in front of thousands.
Irwin Collins was not on the hottest of streaks in NPW. With the Timeless Tryout he had a chance to return to NPW with a brand new contract and bigger contract than his current one. Irwin started the match off first dodging Turner with an acrobatic backflip, something he had not done before, and drop kicking Turner to take him off his feet! Alex immediately made the youngster regret his choices and would hit a bionic elbow! Turner’s spirits changed as he danced a little, with Roxylicious following suit on the outside. The two showed a few moves before Turner landed another elbow on the dome of Irwin Collins! Elbows coming left and right, Timeless had found his niche in making a move famous for a night, and Irwin was taking them every time he stood up!
Timeless stood on the second rope, gyrating his hips as he pointed down to Roxylicious, and she did the same, showing they were ready to party. Irwin stumbled to his feet, turned around, and received a second rope Bionic Elbow to the crown of his forehead! Alex falls on top of Irwin’s upper body, hooking the leg as he shoots a wink at Roxylicious ringside. The referee counts the three, and Alex Turner continues his Timeless streak on Honor! (10:21)
Backstage at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, we see Blake Samuels pacing the door to the locker room of ‘D’ the current OpenWeight Champion. Blake, wearing his grey sweater vest, a clean red tie, and his usual glasses is all business as the door opens up!
Out walks someone not expected, an older gentleman with broad shoulders, dressed in a jet black suit with a royal burgundy dress shirt, and a dirty blond ponytail that was pulled back on the back of his head. The man straightens his tie, looking up to see Blake Samuels' confused face.
Blake Samuels: Who- who are you?
Man: Me? Well I’m hurt, I’m Archie Rude! Former Semi-Pro Hockey defensemen for the Ontario Otters.
Blake Samuels: I… I’m sorry it doesn’t ring a bell-
Archie Rude: Of course not Blake, you don’t do your homework! That’s why Gus Arnold signed me to help you get the job done. You see, Hockey is behind me, but knocking teeth in, watching men fight, that’s up my alley! Tonight, we witness one of the biggest matches in Honor’s history! While you stood out here looking to bother the champ before his match, I found he was already on his way to the ring - and I left my business card so he can get in touch for a personal 1-on-1 interview after he loses to Donzig tonight.
Blake Samuels: Loses to Donzig? I think your mistaken if you think D is going to lose to Donzig with such confidence. These two are the hottest singles wrestlers in Canada right now, and the buzz of the fans says it will go the distance. So pardon me Mr. Rude, but I don’t recall asking for help nor needing it, and when D wins I will be ready to give him the winner’s celebration interview he deserves.
Archie Rude: What’s the capital of Thailand Blake?
Blake Samuels: Huh?
Smack!
Archie Rude: BANGKOK!
Walking off, Archie Rude is heard laughing as Blake leans up against the wall holding himself from the cheap juvenile shot he took from his new coworker, and newest addition to the NPW Staff, Archie Rude.
A vignette of the highlights of both men up until this point appears on the screen before Donzig’s music hits and he comes walking out to fight for his first chance at NPW gold, the OpenWeight Championship. Donzig’s mask was as eerie and fear striking as the horror genre could come up with; and found himself on the apron, basking in the multi-colored lights before he took his place in the ring. Confidence in his stride as he uses the ropes to limber up his arms and squats, preparing for his opponent.
Next out, was the reigning and defending North American OpenWeight Champion, ‘D’! His energy was like wildfire to the crowd and took them by storm as his music hit. ‘D’ came out with the title around his waist, looking on at Donzig in the ring with intensity in his eyes. Putting the open challenge out there, ‘D’ knew he would be in for a fight, and Donzig was the man who answered the challenge in spades. If anyone could deliver, it was Donzig. But D did not back down from anyone, and whether his recent entanglement with Steve Awesome and Esmeralda von Krauss was on his mind, he looked focused for the match he was about to have.
Setting the belt in the hands of the referee, ‘D’ never took his eyes off Donzig, and for good reason. With Donzig’s recent turn on his former partner Freakke, he knew the type of man Donzig was. Don’t trust him as far as you could throw him. Donzig’s face was covered fully by his mask, making it impossible to read the man’s expression. This allowed him a slight advantage, one Donzig was surely aware of and catering to with the design. The bell sounded and D and Donzig went for a cross elbow tie-up, forcing the weight of each other back and forth a few steps, they pushed each other around the ring.
Donzig would finally get a leg trip in and take D to the canvas, rolling with him under the bottom rope to the outside! Donzig released the tie-up, and D kicked him in the shin but takes an European uppercut to the face! D slams into the ring apron, and Donzig begins chopping him across the chest! D ducks a chop and Donzig’s hand slaps the ring post! Grabbing the hand he shakes it showing the discomfort of his hand hitting steel. ‘D’ notices the referees count and grabs Donzig by the neck, throwing him into the ring and jumping to the apron.
Using the ropes, D springboards through the second rope and DDT’s Donzig in the ring as he turns around! Planted like a spike, Donzig’s delayed fall to his back is just enough time for D to get back to his feet and head towards the corner. Donzig looked motionless as D leaps off the top rope and hits canvas, with Donzig rolling out of the way at the last possible moment. Donzig grabs D by the neck and yanks him to his feet giving him no time to react to the missed move; grabbing him under the arms, he hooks him and Donzig delivers a double-arm tiger driver! Hooking the leg, Donzig goes for the cover!

Kick out! D makes it out and saves the match, as he rolls away from Donzig, who yells at the referee while showing three fingers. Donzig doesn’t seem happy, and goes back to D who is leaning on the second rope holding his ribs. Donzig places his boot to the side of D’s face, and then lifts him up and leans him on the ropes. Donzig rushes across the ring and comes running back full force as he looks for the clothesline! He connects! Both men go tumbling over the top rope to the outside ring area for the second time. Donzig this time hits the floor rather than landing on his feet, along with D.
The two men throw punches as they begin to climb to their feet. Donzig catches D with a headbutt, and irish whips him into the steel steps! D jumps on the steps, uses the ring post and spins around - springboarding to the top rope from the apron, and dives off onto the unaware Donzig who just turns around to catch him! Both men tumble to the floor and into the guard rail barrier as a result of D’s high risk assault!
The referee begins the count as both men lay their on the outside motionless.

Both men slide into the ring as the referee is about to put up the ten fingers!
Donzig notices first and points, throwing D off as he glances over to see Esmeralda ringside. Donzig kicks him in the gut, and hooks his neck, D counters, switching to a back grapple, but Donzig elbows him and ripcord clothesline’s D! A quick cover and it’s only a two count as D gets the shoulder up.
Donzig seems confident in his approach, lifting D up and placing his head between his thighs as he lifts D for a piledriver! D struggles and kicks his legs out to reverse, back body drop to Donzig!
The crowd boos again, this time at the sight of Steve Awesome coming down the ramp and finding a spot on the opposite side of the ring from Krauss.
Awesome points to her and then mouths something to D who is now aware of both people ringside. It was shades of the July 15th show all over again. This time though, D was in the middle.
Donzig catches D with an uppercut as D lifts him up, and rocks him into the ropes! Pop up powerbomb by Donzig! A cover to follow up!

Hand on the bottom rope, as Donzig slaps the canvas upset with himself for not pulling D away from the ropes. Donzig gets up and motions the end with a thumb across his throat - but just as he does, the crowd pops and we see Freakke come bursting over the barricade, sliding under the bottom rope and tackling Donzig with a spear! The referee signals for the bell as mayhem ensues, and the disqualification is signaled for by the referee.
Freakke takes to punching and assaulting Donzig, as he costs him his chance at gold! The hate between these two was next level, as Donzig shoved Freakke off and rolled out of the ring, but Esmeralda and Steve Awesome had jumped in the ring from opposite sides. Freake followed Donzig up the ramp, smashing him with forearms and punches, and Donzig finally gets through the curtain with Freakke on his tail!
Awesome gestures to Esmeralda that she has no reason to be here, and puts a finger in her face telling her to get out of the ring. Meanwhile D is getting up, and Esmeralda makes a gesture at him, before D sees the two in front of him. Esmeralda grabs D by the hands and turns him to talk, trying to get his full attention, which appears to not sit well with Steve Awesome. D shakes his head at Esmeralda von Krauss, telling her something she’s not wanting to hear as she sternly points to Awesome and then thumbs her upper torso, and seems to make D choose. D is lost for words for the moment, obviously worn from the grueling bout that was interrupted, and as he turns to say something to Steve Awesome, D’s head tilts, like he is sorry about something, and turns back to Esmeralda von Krauss.
SUPERKICK!
Steve Awesome takes D’s head off and sends him into Esmeralda von Krauss, as he crumbles to the canvas. The referee is in the ring with the North America OpenWeight Championship, looking at the fallen champ, D, unsure what to do.
Steve Awesome grabs the OpenWeight Championship and stares at it for a moment, before he mouths to Esmeralda and raises the belt into the air, before dropping it on the back of D. A statement was made. Steve Awesome wasn’t playing games, he was coming for the OpenWeight Championship. Stepping on the apron, the last shot of the show is seen of Steve Awesome fixing his hair, as a confident snarl crosses his face and he mouths “Your good D, but you're not Awesome!” Esmeralda stared at Steve Awesome as she looked down at D, an emotionless stare, what her role was here, everyone wanted to know.
