House Show Report from The Casa Blancha Hotel in Mesquite, Nevada by Timeskeeper Joey Halves
Match 1
Alice vs Jewel
Alice came out on fire against the taller, younger and hotter Jewel, laying in with nipple level chops and some vicious hair pulling slams. Jewel tried to fix her hair, but Alice wouldnt let up, working in another hairpull move, Sean Waltmans X-Factor. Jewel finally got something going with the help of The Messiah on the outside, but Alice came back with a flying bulldog and dusted Jewel off with a Top You Off (Roll of the Dice).
Rating: *1/2
Comments: Jewel was carried the whole time by the Elder Stateswoman of SWAT wrestling Alice and Messiahs protégé seems to be in over her head.
Match 2
JW Madison and Jay St. Clair vs Kurtis Brothers
Madison started off with Matthew and just out powered the near 7 footer. He took ample time to flex and pose between big time moves, including a powerbomb into the padded turnbuckle. JW tagged into JSC and The Anarchist showed some of his superior technical prowess by twisting Matt Kurtis into a pretzel, and blistering his spine with kicks. He tagged Madison back in for some more power style moves when Chad couldnt takes no more, and rushed into the ring a free for all breaking out, with Chad Kurtis being on the wrong end of an Illicit in Illinios (Styles Clash) from JSC, and then the heel team finishing both Kurtises Kurtis Kurtisi? off with stereo Blackhole Slams.
Rating: **
Comments: JSC and JW made that thing watchable with their power and mat skill, plus that Doppler Bankroll Effect finish was worth a point on its own.
Match 3
Ms. Noriko vs Brandi
Brandi came out with her entourage and proclaimed herself once again the SWAT Womans Champion to a chorus of boos from the audience. The jewel encrusted title around her waist was super shiny gold on black with emeralds, rubies, and sapphires surrounding the Brandi name plate. Ms. Noriko came to the ring with CK Panic who came to the ring smiling wickedly mouthing Sorry Vance towards the broadcast team. Brandi took an early advantage with Ms. Noriko having to keep track of three men on the outside, but the young Joshi quickly gained advantage with several kicks and chops. They then traded some great chain wrestling, going counter for counter, Brandi using American style brawling while Ms. Noriko mixed in some martial arts and hit a few big swinging neckbreakers. Brandi fought back with a HUGE release German Suplex that folded Ms. Noriko in half. Brandi looked for her Date love-me-some-fruit-loops piledriver but Ms. Noriko quickly pulled her legs out from underneath her and rolled the Womans champion up with a jackknife cradle for the win.
Rating: ***
Comments: This one was looking to be a barnburner, but Ms. Noriko pulled out the basic wrestling and came away with a surprise win. Still a very entertaining match for the 15 or so minutes it went down. This spells great for the womens division.
Match 4
Bad Boy King Kong vs Ringo Garza
BBKK just manhandled Garza in ways that men shouldnt manhandle other men. Ringo got felt up more in this match than he did through all of high school. Kong was grinding, thrusting and groping his way around the ring, and finally put Ringo out with a Kong Hug while pumping his pelvis into Ringos backstide.
Rating: SQUASH!!!
Comments: Ew ew ew ew ew ew.
Match 5
First Match of Best of 5 Series: Standard Match
Killer vs Deaths Touch.
Kross came out in his DT gear, a red mask with a pentagram and 666 on the forehead. Killer came rushing to the ring and started in with some stiff forearm blows and some nasty kicks to the ribs. Deaths Touch fought back with powerful head spiking moves like a nasty Cradle DDT after a standard DDT. DT then took Killer off the apron with a jumping powerbomb. DT tried to brain Killer with a shining wizard, but Killer countered with a Baldo Bomb and then just released Deaths Touch with an overhead belly to belly suplex into the ring steps. Killer tried to get the cover, but DT got his foot on the ropes. Killer hit a few more power moves, and once again went for the cover, DT managing to kickout at the last moment. Killer even got the Killmission locked, but Darth Sidious er, Deaths Touchs father distracted the ref so as not to see the tap out.
Killer got into with the ref for not seeing the tap out, and The Father slid a roll of silver dollars into Deaths Touch who blasted Killer in the face when he turned around, and got the win by putting his feet on the ropes for leverage. When Killer found out hed been beaten he slid out and continued to brawl with DT until Security and some of Mesquites Finest managed to break up the hooha.
Rating: ***
Comments: This one is going to be one for the ages folks. Deaths Touch went up 1-0 with some help from his hooded father, and a freebie from the casino. Killer wasnt too happy, and Im sure glad they get a falls count anywhere match in Cedar City.
Final Match
Jack Flacks Retirement Match
Jack Flack vs Trashcan Sam
This one was everywhere in the hotel. The parking pavilion, the all you can eat buffet, Trashcan Sam even got piledriven through an empty blackjack table. The referees managed to get the two back into the convention area and near the ring, but the two just brawled into the crowd at one point trading steel chair shots while egging the other on. Once back in the ring Flack locked on the Flack Jacket, but Sammy refused to tap, and slipped his foot under the ropes forcing a rope break. Flack yelled out, THIS IS A HARDCORE MATCH, YOU NAZI BASTARD!! to the roar of the crowd and hooked Sammy for the F-Bomb onto a garbage bin, but Trashcan reversed it with a rana, and dumped out a tool box and bloodied Jack with a wrench, but couldnt put him away. Jack got back on the offensive and opened up a cut over Sammys eye with a screwdriver and then put on more hurt with a Cobra Twist on some thumbtacks. Sammy fought back and countered with a Concrete Kiss kneedrop FameAsser onto those same thumbtacks, Sammy looked for his Trashcan Slam to put the legend away, but the wiley veteran slid off his back and doubled him over with a kick and dropped him with his F-Bomb Tiger Driver onto the thumbtacks and covered him for the win at 35:12.
Isaac Black came out and congratulated Jack for all his years in the business and offered him the Head of Security position, which Jack took after the crowd got behind him. Jack was left alone raising a plaque that Isaac brought him over his head when the House of Pain, Atticus and Legacy attacked him and broke the plaque over his head, and Legacy spit on his face, as the crowd filled the ring with litter.
Rating: ****
Comments: Jack Flack went out with a brutal bang, with Trashcan Sam, one of his students getting the honor of bleeding all over Mesquite. The House of Pain disrupted the proceedings and will likely face harsh compensation for what they did to the Head of Security.
