BRAVE's commissioner; Mr. Inoue called a press conference in the main lobby of the Osaka Convention Centre. The local wrestling media made sure to turn out in full force in support of the BRAVE promotion. After Mr. Sakamoto welcomed the group to the venue, he handed things over to his hand-picked commissioner to deliver some updates on the state of affairs within the promotion.
Mr. Inoue said that Black Jaguar had suffered head and neck trauma at the hands of Kenneth Marshall, and would be out of action for the foreseeable future.
[The crowd stirred and gasped.]
Once the commotion had died down, Mr. Inoue said that after hours of consideration the BRAVE Brass was able to come up with a solution to this problem. The Speed Dragons were in the lead with 9 points, and their lone defeat took place due to injury. Since Black Jaguar can't compete, The Speed Dragons would have to bow out of the SUPER Tag League.
[More stirring. More concern.]
Mr. Inoue declared that once Black Jaguar was back to 100%, that The Speed Dragons would earn a championship opportunity against the eventual champions.
[He wasn't finished.]
Since I-69 and KYOTO:CRUSH were also mathematically eliminated from the tournament, they would also exit the tournament as of today. This meant that Three Teams would remain eligible In the SUPER Tag League. The Shining Stars, Kenneth Marshall & Roger Stevens and Tidal Wave. Mr. Inoue said that these three teams would compete in a round robin playoff format on Monday October 18th. The winners of the playoff would be crowned the BRAVE Tag Team Champions.
[Mr. Inoue turned and retrieved two red pillows with black cloths covering the contents. The crowd stirred, before Mr. Inoue removed the cloths to reveal the new look BRAVE Tag Team Championships.]
[Flash.]
[Snap.]
[Flash.]
Mr. Inoue announced that he was going to announce two other matches that would break up the Round Robin tournament to allow the competitors some reprieve in between bouts. The first match would Akihiro Sagawa vs. Koji Imura in Jr. Heavyweight Action. The Second Match would be a battle of disciplines, as the Sumo Star; Crossfire would compete against the Judoka Ace; Kai Fukuda. Mr. Inoue noted that both of these men have been looking to test themselves against the other, so why not give them the proper spotlight to showcase themselves.
Mr. Inoue indicated that they woundn't be taking any media questions today, and that for more news and updates - to tune into the BRAVE Website which was located at cwa-efed.freeforums.net
