[Earlier Today.]
Inside a small rather dirty looking squad room at the local police station, the desk sergeant was looking bored as he shuffled through some stacks of papers. And then he looked up in surprise as he heard someone approach the desk and stop. He grunted, mouth dropping open as he saw the odd figure before him draped in a long black leather coat with a stylized skull mask like some American heavy metal band staring down at him. A pretty girl stood behind him, a faint smile as she inclined her head at him before the man tapped the desk with a finger.
'I need to file a missing person's report at once!'
The sergeant blinked, and then leaned back in his chair as a few other officers looked their way. 'Good one, LD. I thought you were taking some time off, but you know how to file a report. You booking this one on solicitation charges or is she a C.I.?'
Donzig hissed, and his head tilted. Sinclair Godfrey blinked, and mouthed 'solicitation?' then her cheeks reddened before her arms folded over her chest. 'Sir, I will have you know I am lady.'
'Listen, I am not here to judge.' said the Sarge.
Donzig reached up to remove his mask, handing it to Sinclair with a narrowing of his eyes at the stunned sergeant. He tsked, shaking his head before he continued with a wave of his hand. 'Enough with this--'
'Oh, shit. It's the other psycho.'
Donzig lifted a hand to drag through his beard, and he shrugged. 'Listen, one of my partners is missing. Tall, handsome, always wears glasses? Kind of a retro thing going on? Has a six pack, always looking for whores?'
The Sarge blinked, grunting as he made a few notes as another officer snickered in the background. Donzig glared at him, and waited impatiently.
'He makes bad movies, has dark hair, is a bit of a fucking ponce to be honest.' snapped Donzig, and Sinclair arched a brow as the Sergeant nodded.
'You have a picture?'
Sinclair wiped out her phone, and handed it to the man. He blinked down at the picture, and turned to another officer with the phone in hand. They both looked at it, and then the officer frowned. 'This looks just like that guy wanted for a suspected murder in Mexico, and breaking and entering at the Reptile Temple.'
Sinclair blinked, but Donzig waved a hand as he leaned forward. 'No, no, no. Different guy, but same same. The guy you are looking for is actually relevant, this guy? He's well, not.'
The cops nodded at each other, and handed back the phone before the Sarge shrugged. 'I will see what I can do, but my boys are tied up at the arena on another matter.'
Donzig and Sinclair looked at each other, and Donzig snorted before he stomped off.

[In the Arena.]
Gus Arnold stood in the middle of the ring, and welcomed the fans to the show. Before long, Gus welcomed 'The King of Violence' Jesse Jamester to the ring. The crowd popped, as the 'Canadian Nightmare' walked to the ring with purpose. Once inside of the ring, Gus handed him the mic and let him get things off of his chest.
First, Jesse said that he has had enough of the ReVenants and how they have been attacking him and his family for months. He said, it was time to settle things inside of the ring. Jesse also made sure that Keith Williams knew that KARMA was coming for him, and it already had. What happened to him during the triple threat match for the North American Double Crown was only the beginning.
[Static.]
[The Video Screen.]
[Keith Williams.]
'The Great White Terror' said that Jesse would pay for costing him the North American Double Crown. He also agreed that it was time to settle things inside of the ring. At which point, Jesse spoke about a match that he liked to call - 'The Great Northern War.'
[The fans buzzed.]
"Since all of The ReVenants have made it a point to interject themselves in Jesse's business - he said that ALL of the ReVenants were invited to compete against in inside of a two ring STEEL CAGE!"
[The fans went wild.]
"Jesse said, one by one he would put an end to this war."
"Keith laughed, and said that as mean and nasty as Jesse is - he was only one man. The ReVenants would make mince meat out of him just like they have over the past few months."
"Jesse responded that he wouldn't be coming alone. He would recruit four other of Northern Pro's finest to watch his back and to fight alongside of him."
"Keith suggested that Jesse isn't exactly the friendly type. Keith also said that he doubted that Jesse had that kind of pull. Why would anyone in their right minds agree to get into a steel cage against a well oiled machine like the ReVenants?"
"Gus said that he was willing to make the match. Two men start in the ring. A coin toss will take place, where the winning team will send their next wrestler into the ring. Two minutes later, the other team would counter and send their next man in. Once all ten competitors where in the match, it would be survival of the fittest. You win when you make the other team submit."
"Keith said that he spoke for the ReVenants, and they ACCEPT!"
[RAAAAAAHHH!]
[Static.]
[The Video Screen is Black once again.]
Gus said that he would have the contracts drawn up as soon as Jesse revealed who would be teaming with him. Gus went onto announce that he loved the mantra of the 'Great Northern War', and that this would be the name of the entire show. Rivalries would come to head. Champions would defend their titles. Superstars would be making their comebacks.
On Tuesday, November 9th. Northern Pro Wrestling goes to WAR!!!
Jesse Jamester remained in the ring, preparing for his match against Takaru Matsui.

Jesse Jamester
vs.
Takaru Matsui
--
Takaru Matsui made his way to the ring and kept a strong glare fixated on Jesse Jamester. The referee also ran out from the back and signalled for the contest to begin. The two men started to circle one and other.
The fans were clapping.
Stomping.
Collar and Elbow Tie up. Both men shove the other, and there is a break in the action. As they're about to dive into another...
[Static.]
We see Calvin Doxson tied to a steel chair while a man in a black ski mask walks around him and blisters him with body shots.
The muffled sound of yelling and screaming is heard. It's disturbing. The crowd forgets there is a match going on, and are fixated on the big screen. It doesn't take long for Jesse Jamester to turn around to see what's going on.
Masked Man: "Where's Jesse Jamester? Isn't he supposed to be here to protect you?"
[WHAM!]
Jesse sees this, and immediately exits the ring and makes a break for it. He runs up the ramp and disappears behind the curtain.
Takaru stands in the ring and looks at the referee. They both shrug, and the referee starts to count.

Singles Match
20 Minute Time Limit
Neo James Carner
vs.
"Big Match" Chris Card
--
This next match had the wrestling world salivating coming into the show. Not only would the NPW faithful get to finally witness the debut of Chis Card, but he would be taking on one of the most vicious and heinous men in Northern Pro Wrestling, Neo James Carner.
The fans are clearly behind Chris Card, which isn't something the wrestling world is accustomed the seeing. It's been this way for decades. The Canadian Wrestling fans gravitate to the ones they love, whether they're deserving or not. Whether they follow rules, or not. But in all cases, their native sons are always respected, cherished and appreciated. Chris Card isn't a nice guy, nor does he claim to be.
NJC has run into some trouble as of late with people he felt he could trust. But that's what makes him dangerous. He comes from a dog eat dog world where he's the greyhound of the bunch. He's an active and leading members of the ReVenants, which that alone strikes fear into the hearts of his foes. When he's on his game, there isn't anyone more pure inside of the ring. His bounty on the head of Jesse Jamester has turned a lot of heads, and had a few people nearly capitalize on the prize money.
But none of that would matter at this present moment. Chris Card was seething and ready to be let loose. A man that takes pride in where he comes from and how it has shaped the man he is today.
Early in the contest, it was about fifty.fifty. Both men had their moments where they were able to outshine the other. NJC proved he was game, and wasn't going to allow Chris Card to walk into Northern Pro and assume a victory over him. Both men are familiar with one and other, shared locker rooms up and down the road, but never had the distinct pleasure of wrestling one and other. While the world of professional wrestling feels like a massive ocean, at times it can feel like a small creek, as it truly is a small world.
NJC got himself into trouble trying to shine Card up for the fans. NJC tried to lord his opinion of himself over his opponent, and that seemed to fire Card up. Before long NJC was backing up, as Card pushed forward with striking. A vicious roundhouse kick got the party started. Up next, a Teep Kick!
The crowd roared.
Inside crescent kick! WHAM!
A near fall followed. NJC was still game, and not going to go down without a fight. NJC dug his knee into the ribs of Card with a knee lift, before turning him over and snapping his neck with a swinging neck breaker. NJC hit the ropes and drove an elbow into Card's sternum. A little more peacocking, but this time he got away with it, as Card was at a point where he didn't see it taking place as he tried to recover.
NJC attempted to spike Card with a powerbomb, but Card went out the backdoor, grabbed NJC by the waist and took him over with a release german suplex! Outside crescent kick when NJC popped up!
WHACK!
1.
2.
NO!
NJC rolled his shoulder.
Card wasn't deterred, as he seemed to enjoy inflicting some punishment. As he crept up, NJC went low, and stopped him by sweeping him out of sheer instinct. This bought him a bit more time, which was needed, as Card was starting to steal the momentum in the match. If the rumours are true, Card is ruthless, and when he smells blood, he capitalizes. So trying to stay out of dangerous waters with him is of the utmost importance.
NJC raked cards eyes and sent him packing with a nasty clothesline. A pin followed,
2 Count only.
The fans started to stomp, clap and cheer Card on. They wanted to see him come back, they wanted to see him succeed. He was up against it though, and the pressure was mounting. When a huge hometown hero performs in front of their own, they either rise to the occasion or the moment eats them up. Thus far, the jury was out. Card has shown flashes of brilliance but he's in there with a vet that has proven to be incredibly dangerous.
NJC was stalking Card, looking for the precise moment to strike. He picked him up, and looked to execute a driver variation but Card reversed it and hit NJC with a Dragon Suplex
1.
2.
NO!
KICKOUT BY NJC AT THE LAST MINUTE.
The fans thought that was it. But NJC held his ground and refused to sucb to his opponent, Card looked around, starting to feed off of the adrenaline from the fans. He seemed to use it in a positive way. NJC came for him, but Card ducked, RELEASE Belly to Belly SUPLEX!!
RAAAAHHH!!
NJC brought himself to his feet, but Card was waiting..
CARDIAC ARREST!!
He got it all

DING DING DING!
Here is your winner: Chris Card via Cardiac Arrest (13:45)
NJC rolled out of the ring, and the moment belonged to Chris Card. Card took a moment to wave to the crowd who are on their feet showing their unrelenting support to their hero. Card made sure to hit each top rope to give the fans what they wanted.
It was a successful and impressive debut from 'Big Match.'
This has the making of something big and everyone could sense it.
Final shot is of Card walking up the ramp to the out stretched hands of the fans.

Tag Team Match
20 Minute Time Limit
Prime Time
vs.
Dark Stars
--
Two teams that have both reached the pinnacle in Northern Pro, but have yet to square off in tag team action against one and other. The Dark Stars hoisted gold for the first time last year and had an impressive run, before falling short to the Syndicate. In recent months, Niko and Kono have found themselves in the mix of many issues and championship opportunities. They've both been so close to breaking through, and have refocused and dedicated themselves to their strength in tag team wrestling.
Perhaps it was the fact that Prime Time never offered to give them a championship bout, or perhaps they saw an opportunity to take down one of NPW's Alpha males - either way, The Dark Stars went out of their way to challenge Timeless and made a statement by taking him out. Little did they know, the demise of Prime Time was a gross exaggeration.
Primal was on guard, and ready to unleash his fury when his partner needed it most. After leaving both Niko and Kono laying backstage, it was clear That Prime Time was ready for a war and accepted the challenge laid down by the Dark Stars. In a match that tag team enthusiasts have been clamouring for, both teams have their eyes set on The Bastards and reclaiming the Imperial Crown Tag Team Championships. In fact, one would surmise that the winners of this contest would put themselves in position to challenge for those titles in the near future.
Timeless got things started for his team, and he was a bull in a China shop. Full speed ahead and was willing to bring the fight to both men at the same time if the referee would allow it. Roxy cheered him on from the outside of the ring, which drew the ire of some of the fans in the front row. A massive spinebuster by Timeless on Kono was an early highlight. The ring shook as Timeless brought it and used his hips for power to drive Kono to the mat. Niko tried to ambush Timeless, but he got served with a stiff uppercut as he dove into the ring from the apron.
Timeless picked Niko up and spiked him with a Tombstone!
Timeless stomped away, before Kono came in from behind and took Timeless out at the knees with a chop block. The duo with bad intentions then smacked Timeless with stereo super kicks!
1..
2NO
It would take more than that to keep Timeless down. Kono and Niko seemed to ignore the five count and executed a quick spike pile driver on Timeless before trying another fall.
1..
2..
Primal makes the save. Primal did one better, as he rushed Kono and speared him. Primal then took the fight to Niko who was on the apron. Both men spilled onto the concrete floor where the fists were flying. Niko reversed an attempt and whipped Primal into the guardrail before rushing forward and taking him out with a YAKUZA KICK!
WHACK!!
Kono perched himself on the top rope and took a risk but it worked as he dove on top of Primal and took him down hard to the floor. Now Niko and Kono could try and take on Timeless alone and work him over they thought. Timeless had other ideas. He was groggy, but still game - as he caught Kono coming in with a speak, and Timeless held serve with a front face lock. Amateur wrestling go behind, before a wasitlock suplex was executed to perfection taking Kono down hard.
Niko didn't wait for an invitation, and he came into the ring against referee's wishes and double axe handled Timeless from behind. Timeless smiled before throwing his head into Niko's face, as if he were fighting in some pub down under.
Hellfire Lariat! Timeless turned Niko inside out.
Kono jumped on his back, trying to take Timeless down with a choke/sleeperhold. He was struggling, but Timeless began to fade. Primal was stewing about outside, and back up on the apron, trying to extend his hand to his partner. But to no avail as Kono had Timeless down to one knee, and then on his behind. Kono let go, hit the ropes and leg lariat!
Kono went up to the top rope, came off and FLYING ELBOW DROP!!
1..
2..
NO! Timeless kicks out.
Kono and Niko share a glance and look for a high low attack, but Timeless avoids it and hits a discuss punch on Kono. Then one for Niko!
WHACK!
WHACK!
Hot Tag to Primal. Primal comes in, but he's treated to a step up enziguri from Niko. Then blasted from behind with a leg lariat by Kono!
If nothing else, the Dark Stars are on the same page and appear to be working together tremendously. They've cut off the ring, and are using double teams to their advantage. Niko grabs a waist lock, Kono hits the ropes with a diving clothesline while Kono executes a release German Suplex!
Primal hit hard, head first. Niko remained legal and worked Primal over with stiff shots, before whipping him into his corner and tagging Kono. More tandem offence as a scoop slam met by stern diving leg drops followed.
Kono hit the ropes and nailed Timeless who was recovering on the outside and knocked him off the apron. Tag to Niko... SPIKEPILEDRIVER!
Niko up top, Shooting Star Press!
1.
2.
3!!
Winners: The Dark Stars via Shooting Star Press (9:12)
The Dark Stars exited the ring, business as usual. They spoke to the camera on their way out, saying their coming for gold and there wasn't anyone could do to stop them. Both men looks confident and the roster should be on notice that the Dark Stars just took out the former tag team champions and looked better than ever doing it.
Final shot is of Timeless checking on Primal w/ Roxy by his side. A string of bd luck has struck them recently - but you have to imagine they'll be back and stronger than ever.

Donzig scowled as he saw the small knot of police standing around the door of the arena, and that scowl deepened as he saw Gus Arnold and NPW security walk towards him. Sinclair and the KGB Death Squad paused behind him, and he tilted his masked head from one side to the other before he shrugged. Gus walked over, and rolled his eyes before he handed Sinclair a piece of paper.
Gus: "Donzig, your band of thugs have been banned from the arena for the night."
Donzig: "'Band of thugs? These are henchmen, sir.' snapped Donzig, his arms folding as he turned to watch Sinclair reading the papers. The police watched them, a few even stepping closer as the Death Squad edged towards Gus. Donzig lifted a hand absently, and they froze as he looked at Gus.
Gus: "'Donzig, I am not going to have my main event disrupted by your antics again. For the second time this month!" Gus fumed, and Donzig pressed a hand to his chest.
Donzig: "Me? Gus, that is uncalled for! I would never do anything like that.' Donzig glanced at Sinclair, who nodded as she folded up the paper. Donzig shrugged, and motioned for the three of them to go as he looked back to Gus and his security detail. And he started forward again, clearly amused as he continued. 'Don't worry, Gus. I will do my very past to carry my partners to a win. I mean, it is clear that neither one of them are going to do it.'"
Gus waves Donzig and Sinclair inside, but signals for security to keep the KGB Death Squad outside for the night. Good thing there are at least two of them to keep those two monsters at bay.

Singles Match
20 Minute Time Limit
Ronnie Long
vs.
Frank Windsor
--
Contrary to popular belief, Gus Arnold certainly doesn't view this match as a demotion for Frank Windsor. Gus Arnold is well aware of Windsor's prowess as a singles competitor and former World Champion. The same can be said for Ronnie Long - while he might not be the spring chicken he once was - he appears to be aging like a fine wine. Both men have had singles success in the past, and both men could very do the same here in Northern Pro Wrestling. Two men with amazing resumes are colliding inside of the ring for the first time, and each of them has a legion of fan support from the NPW faithful.
The talk between these two men has brought a lot of eyes to this contest, as the people and dirt sheets alike are tremendously interested in how this contest would shake out.
The bell sounded, and it was go time. Early on, Ronnie Long looked to impose his will by using his size to his advantage. There was some dirty boxing going on against the ropes. Much to Ronnie's surprise and to the delight of the fans, Windsor took a few of Ronnie's shots and fired back with some of his own. A great sign early on, as neither man was going to back down, and both men knew to bring their lunch pales with them for this fight.
Long eventually muscled Windsor into the corner where he connected with a few back elbows that rattled Windsor. Long stepped back, came forward and instead of catching Windsor with a clothesline, Windsor moved, took Long's arm and hit the mat. As the two men struggled to gain an upper hand, Long reached back and grabbed the rope which forced a break from the referee. Windsor was back to his feet quickly, and drove forward with a rugged forearm strike that caught Long off guard. A swift kick to the gut, and a DDT came next. Long popped up from the impact and Windsor took his back and grabbed a reverse chin lock. Windsor was leaning on Long, making him carry his weight.
Long showed a strong chin, as he tried to shake the cobwebs, and reverse out of the position he was in. Long was able to get to his knee, then his feet, spin free, and take Windsor's arm and twisted it behind him with a hammer lock. Ronnie wrenched it, which Windsor didn't appreciate. Long used his strength to lift Frank off his feet and launched him in the air!
WHAM!
The co Holder of the Imperial Crown Tag Team Champonships looked up, in awe of Long's power. Windsor dusted himself off, as Long allowed him to get to his feet so they could meet in the middle with a deep collar and elbow tie up. Windsor took a side headlock, before being whipped into the ropes, Long went for a boot, but Windsor caught it, twisted, and took Long down to the mat with an ankle lock!
Would he?
Nope. Long grabbed the rope, which forced a break. The fans applauded both men, who seemed to be trading advantages early on. Nothing less than expected from two decorated wrestlers with lots to prove. Long tipped his cap to Windsor's efforts, as it seemed as though there might've been some metal respect building between the two fo them early on.
Another deep collar and elbow followed, this time Long whipped Windsor into the ropes and didn't miss. He hit Windsor with a nasty clothesline that turned him inside out.
WHACK!
Long went for the cover, but would only get two for his efforts. A lesser man might've been out cold. Long picked Windsor up, looked to be attempting a Power Bomb, but Windsor went out the backdoor and executed a nice german suplex on Long! What a reversal of fortunes.
BOOOO!!!
[What's this?]
[Daeriq Damien.]
Damien has been trying to lure Ronnie Long back to his old ways for months now. He even inserted himself into Ronnie's career a few days ago and shared some of Ronnie's secrets. His motives seem clear, but are they?
The fans aren't exactly welcoming his presence here. But he doesn't seem to mind.
Meanwhile, inside of the ring, Windsor seems to be in control on the mat, doing his best to keep Long grounded after the big suplex. Windsor and Long haven't noticed that they aren't alone, which is probably for the best. After struggling, Long was able to sweep Windsor on the mat and deliver some heavy shots from top position, before trying to work a neck crank.
The fans were electric, stomping their feet and applauding the efforts in this contest. Damien was on the outside and gestured that the fanfare was for him, which wasn't the case.
It was here that Ronnie Long first caught a glimpse of Damien at ringside. His presence startled Long, and Ronnie was quick to point towards the locker room and told his former ally to hit the bricks. While Long had his back turned, Windsor blindsided him and knocked him down. Windsor picked long up and hit him with an exploder suplex!
1..
2..
NO!
Long was able to kick out.
Windsor almost had him. It was clear that Damien's presence wasn't welcome, but he refused to budge. He circled the ring slapping on the mat encouraging Long to pick up the pace and get himself out of trouble. Frank Windsor stood in the ring with his hands on his hips and gave Damien a dirty look. Windsor warned Damien to stay out of his way.
Damien put his hands up to indicate he was innocent of any crimes. But based on his demeanour it was clear you can't trust him as far as you could throw him.
Windsor brought Long back to his feet, who had shaken the cobwebs, and started to fire up. Perhaps it was instinct, or the fact that his fear of his past haunting his Northern Pro run was actually being set in motion by a man he was looking to distance himself from. The fans popped, as Long rose up and rocked Windsor with some stiff shots.
Long had enough time to pick Windsor up with a running body slam, before turning to the exterior of the ring and once again pointing to the back and urging Damien to get out of dodge. Windsor was stirring and getting back to his feet, so Long turned his focus there.
With Long and the referee both having their backs turned to Damien, he snuck up on the apron and loosened to the top turnbuckle, leaving a steel bolt exposed!
BOOOOO!!!!
Damien asked the crowd to be quiet.
Long and Windsor were trading blows, but Long got the upper hand and irish whipped Windsor into the corner.
OH NO...
Windsor goes sternum first into the steel bolt!
GASP!
LARIAT!!!!
Long just tried to take Windsor's head off!
Not like this...
Long looked at the exposed turnbuckle and then down at Damien. Long asked him if he was responsible, to which Damien nodded, and encouraged Long to make the cover. Long refused!
RAAAAAAAHHH!
The referee looked confused, as Long wasn't following up. Long pointed to the exposed turnbuckle, smartening the referee up to what happened. Long said he had no idea, and that he unknowingly tossed Windsor into the exposed steel.
[Billy Fowler.]
The big man took the opportunity to hit the ring area and check on Windsor, while also flexing at Damien on the outside. The referee surveyed the area and waved the match off.
DING DING DING
The referee didn't see what happened, so he didn't want to disqualify Long. Long refused to capitalize, and smartened the official up to what was happening and refused to take advantage of what could've been a pinfall win.
NO CONTEST (12:52)
Windsor was coming to, holding his chest and jaw. He rolled out of the ring and Fowler looked ready to pounce.
Fowler pointed up at Long, saying he knew all along what was happening, and both Bastards alluded to the fact they felt that 'something smelled funny.'
Long insisted he had no idea.
By now, Daeriq Damien had walked away from ringside, and was watching from the top of the ramp with a smile on his face.
The referee left the ring area and went to check on Windsor, who was fuming over what had happened. Long's past was starting to mess with his future, and it spoiled a tremendous match between two of NPW's finest. The Bastards were definitely got under the collar, and appeared not to trust Long. Long finally realized he wasn't going to make any headway, and stormed off.
The fans were clamouring, wanting more - but to no avail. Something tells me that this story if far from over.

[Backstage.]
We watch as the camera is following behind Northern Pro owner; Gus Arnold. Gus has a pep in his step, and seems to be looking to find someone specific. As he rounds the corner, he comes to a stop outside of the dressing room of 'Big Match' Chris Card.
[We hear the arena pop off in the distance.]
Gus: "Chris, can we have a word?"
[Card keeps the door to his locker room open, and appears to be all ears.]
Gus: "Excellent work out there tonight. You proved to be all that you say you are. If I haven't already made it clear - I'm extremely happy to have you on our roster."
Card: "It was only a matter of time. What's on your mind, Gus?"
Gus: "As you might’ve heard earlier tonight, Jesse Jamester issued a challenge to the ReVenants. A match that we're calling the Great Northern War! Its fitting, as Jesse and The Rev's have been doing battle for nearly three months now with no end in sight. It would seem as though Jesse's actions on our last show, which cost Keith Williams the North American Double Crown was designed to lure him into one of the most violent matches in the sport of professional wrestling.
[Gus let's his words linger for a moment, as Chris Card takes it in.]
Gus: "For a match of this magnitude, I need someone who won’t back down… someone with experience…"
[Card raises his eyebrow, knowing full well he ticks those boxes.]
Gus: "You have served as a special referee for us once before and did a stellar job. How would you like to oversee this match as the authority inside of the cage. You would be the man watching for someone to admit that they've had enough and can't take anymore punishment."
[Card nods along, seemingly interested.]
Gus: "The stakes are high and I need someone in there who is going to remain impartial, while not being pushed around. What do you say?"
[...]
Card: "One, I appreciate the flattery. Two, you don't get to acquire as many wins as I have unless you understand how a referee interacts with their charges. Three, and I think I know where you're going with this... Explain for the good people here the rules of this match."
Gus: "Once all ten men are inside of the cage, it's all about survival. The match only concludes when someone submits. Oh, and there is no rope break to save anyone. In my experience, these decisions are often complicated, and the losing team might resort to violence after the bell. That's why I want someone in there who can remain impartial, while also taking care of themselves should it come to that."
Card: You know how to win at Risk? Capture the Pacific and don't get too involved in Asia. See, Gus, I'm your resident expert at.... War games."
Gus: "So, you'll do it?"
Card: "With pleasure."
[The two exchange a handshake and a knowing glare.]
[Business just picked up.]

Main Event
Trios Tag Team Match
30 Minute Time Limit
Rob Riot, Kid Koala, Jay Stevens
vs.
Keith Williams, Donzig, Steve Awesome
--
All six competitors had the opportunity to shine in this huge opportunity. Who would rise up? Would would fold to the pressure? Rob Riot and Kid Koala are seemingly willing to put aside some of their differences for the greater good of their team. Both men have their eyes on Donzig across the ring, who is ready and willing to go to war with anyone at a moment's notice. Jay Stevens has made his return to NPW after seemingly doing some soul searching - while also relocating out to the West Coast with the Team Danger family.
Jay remarked that the grind to get to the top seemed to have taken a lot out of him, but being at the top came with its own set of pressure. He's certainly the wildcard in this contest. His skills are top notch, but it's the mental aspect of the game that takes time to develop. While being wise beyond his years, one still can't account for time and wisdom. However, being inside of the ring five other of NPW's top stars should be proof enough that Gus Arnold believes in Jay Stevens.
On the other side of the coin, all we could sense was friction. Donzig was staring a hole through Steve Awesome who was too self absorbed to notice or care. Keith Williams seemed annoyed to be there and wasn't making an effort to talk or strategize with either of his teammates. Wisdom would indicate that using your teammates for support would be the best way to survive a match like this. However, as we know - stubbornness is a powerful feeling and can often dictate ones mood and actions. When it came time to get the match started. Keith Williams insisted on starting. Donzig objected, but Keith ignored him and made a push towards Jay Stevens.
Stevens was hip to this, and defended well before firing up and backing Keith into a corner. The former North American Cruiserweight Champion showed little regard for Keith's antics and hit him crisply tough to send Keith through the ropes to the apron. When Jay followed up Keith dug his shoulder into Jay's ribs, before clobbering him with a fist from above to take him down to his knees. Keith entered the ring and put the boots to Jay.
Williams flexed for the crowd and they weren't having it. The break in the action allowed Jay to tag Kid Koala - who hit the ring in a blaze. Launching himself from the apron he connected with a diving forearm that sent Keith to the mat. Koala climbed to the top rope in a flash and came off with a MISSILE DROPKICK!!
1..
NO!
Williams powered out.
Koala made a quick tag back to Jay, and the duo whipped Williams into the ropes, when he came off they hit double clotheslines! Jay stayed on it though, and went to the mat where he seemed to be working for an armlock. He almost had a KIMURA all of the way but Keith grabbed the rope! Keith leaned quickly that if you give Jay a limb, he might take it and never give it back. Jay tagged Riot, and now all three members of their team had been legally in the match, while Keith refused to tag his teammates even though he was on the short side of the action thus far.
Keith smiled, seemingly wanting to get his hands on Riot. They circled, and Keith poked Riot in the eye to gain an advantage. A side head lock followed, a neck wrench from Keith as he was applying max pressure. He was sent into the ropes by Riot, ducked a clothesline before Williams connected with one of his own! Riot went down hard, and Keith was shaking out his right arm having put all he can into the blow.
Keith picked Riot up Belly to Belly Suplex! Float over...
1..
2NO!
Riot was out in time.
Williams stalked Riot, and from behind got him in a Cobra Clutch!
The referee was on it, would he tap? Williams didn't wait long enough to get an answer, as he took Riot over with a Cobra Clutch Suplex!
WHAM!
Williams was having his way. He taunted Stevens and Koala, who brushed him off. Back to Riot, he was getting to his feet, shaking the cobwebs. Keith went for a take down, but Riot out of instinct stuffed it, grabbed a front face lock and leaned back! Guillotine choke!
RAAAHHH!!
Keith was trapped, nowhere to go!
Steve Awesome jumped into the ring to make the save!
We couldn't help but Notice Donzig on the apron looking disinterested. In fact, he didn't flinch when he saw Williams in trouble. Perhaps some of Keith's hurtful words didn't sit well with Donzig - who has shown on numerous occasions that he's willing to be an ally of The Revs. Clearly his choice to join the KGB instead is something that Keith Williams hasn't forgotten. So while there hasn't been any heat on Donzig's side of things, Williams is harbouring resentment, as was proven in his remarks in the lead up to the bout. Donzig seemingly has received the new message loud and clear, and is dismissing Keith.
Perhaps Keith felt it was a low blow for Donzig to have recruited someone who looked like Keith Williams to sing a duet with him. Lord knows, but I would typically think twice about being on the other side of either of these brutal and vindictive men.
Awesome said something to Donzig about being present, which Donzig snarled at. Oh Joy.
Meanwhile, Williams was doing his best to fight back, as Riot had kicked it into gear and had Williams bouncing all over the ring.
STIFF Short Clothesline from Riot. Riot then tagged Stevens back into the match, again showing that their team was on the same page and ready to take this contest seriously. Stevens took Williams down to mat and had his way with him in 'Jay's World'. Jay took Keith's back and sunk in a rear naked choke. Lucky for Keith he was able to get to the ropes to force the break. Stevens waited, for when it was time to pounce, he was going to keep it up.
LOW BLOW!
Williams saved himself by low blowing Jay, and the ref didn't catch it. Keith moved to his corner and slapped Donzig's hand with force. The two men stared each other down, before Donzig entered the bout. He ran for Jay, who side stepped, and hit him with a leg sweep. Elbow drop from Jay, and another!
Jay tagged Koala into the match!
RAAAAAHHH!
Koala and Donzig have been trading insults for weeks now, and have both been looking to get their hands on each other. Koala was on fire, blasting Donzig with big shots before executing a perfect dropkick off the ropes. Donzig held his jaw, and Koala rushed forward and executed a somersault neck snap! Koala hit the second rope - SPEAR!!
RAAAAAH!!
1..
2..NO!
Koala took the reverse chin lock position and started whispering something to Donzig... who didn't like it, as was proof by his reaction and immediate need to get out of it and get his hands on his adversary. Koala laughed, as he rode Donzig into the corner for a tag to Riot. Double windmill right hands! It was almost as if they practiced it. The fans loved it and Donzig dropped to the mat. Capture Suplex from Riot on Donzig!
1..
2..
NO!
That's not going to do it!
Donzig hissed as he rolled to the corner, looking for reprieve. DOnzig grabbed Riot's left leg as he approached and worked a single leg take down! Mounted punches followed as Riot did his best to cover up.
'Rent Free, Right?'
Donzig lacing Riot up for his comments during the build up to this battle. Donzig smirked and flicked his chin at Koala who brushed him off. Stevens looked on, but you could see the competitive nature of this match had his juices flowing. He looked ready to pounce and do damage at a moments notice.
Donzig started to chop Riot in the corner.
SLAP!
WHOO!
SLAP!
WHOO!
SMACK!
WHOOO
SLAP SLAP SLAP SLAP SLAP
Riot fired up, reversed. He saw red. SLAP!
WHOO!
Donzig reverses! Right right hand to the jaw, drops Riot to the mat.
Donzig is stomping away, viciously. Riot taking it, but doing his best to cover up. Donzig picks him up, BRAINBUSTER! Riot hits the mat hard, and Donzig admires his work. Donzig hits the rope and throws his body on top of Riot with a Senton Splash. Donzig picks Riot up... Double Underhook Driver!
1
2
NO!
Koala made the save!
Donzig clips Koala with a clothesline for his troubles. Donzig runs at Stevens and takes a swing, but he ducks, and connects with a right hand to Donzig! While the ref is admonishing Jay, Keith Williams creeps into the match and hits Riot with an unprettier!! Donzig is hammering away on Koala, which the ref breaks up to summon Koala to the outside as he's not the legal man. Donzig turns around to see Riot laying on the ground, and Donzig locks on a dragon sleeper!!
Will he?
Can he?
Donzig has it locked in tight!
Lets go Riot!
Lets Go Riot!
Lets go Riot!
SMACK!!
Koala enters the ring and dropkicks Donzig in the mush!
RAAAAAHHHH!!!!
That should give Riot some reprieve. Donzig stumbled back into his corner trying to regain his composure.
BLIND TAG!
Steve Awesome just tagged himself into the match. Donzig looks like he's going to snap.
STUNNER!!!
[What.]
[The.]
[Hell.]
Donzig just stunned Steve Awesome. The referee looks on, confused? The arena is silent, staring. Riot rolls to his corner to tag Jay Stevens. Stevens hangs back to watch, as Keith Williams enters the ring to ask Donzig What in the World are you doing?!?
STUNNER On Keith Williams!!
Donzig just dropped Williams with a stunner as well.
The fans are loving this. Donzig hisses as he spits on the canvas beside both Steve Awesome and Keith Williams. Donzig is leaving? What the?
Donzig has forsaken his two tag team partners. He's leaving them High and Dry!
RAAAAAAHHH!!
Donzig was obviously upset about the blind tag and obviously upset about some of the remarks made by Keith Williams. He got his licks in on everyone in this match, and now he's leaving. Incredible.
Jay Stevens rushed forward and clotheslines Keith Williams out of the ring. Jay turns his attention to Steve Awesome who's the legal man. BELLY TO BELLY!!!
OHHHHH!!!
Jay Tags Koala, who goes up top!
SOMERSAULT LEG DROP!!!
The fans are loving it! Koala reaches back and tags Rob Riot, who locks Steve Awesome up in his patented 'Locking Clamp'
Awesome isn't responding! He took a Stunner, Belly to Belly, Somersault Leg Drop and he's out of it. The referee looks around and raises Awesome's hand, but he's out!
DING DING DING
Here are your winners: Rob Riot, Kid Koala & Jay Stevens (18:12)
It's bedlam in the arena, as the fans go home happy tonight seeing their heroes have their hands raised in victory. It's clear that the team of Donzig, Awesome and Williams was never going to work, and there is so much tension an angst there that they all may end up hunting down the other in the near future. What a disaster for them, as they are most certainly going to be added to the list of men who despise Donzig! What a turn of the events we all witnessed.
The fans serenade their heroes one last time, as the camera pans back and fades away.
[Cut.]
