For the special matches, the colors of the shorts and sleeves swap and the jacket is black. He also dons a custom Hollow mask inspired by the anime series "Bleach".
Wrestler's Backstage Attire:
Baggy cargo pants of various colors. Glasses, Black and brown timberland boots and various hoodies/shirts/jerseys depending on the season. Is always seen with a twin dog tag necklace with his late mother's birthday on one and his late trainer's birthday on the other.
History:
From the young age of 5 years old, Taven Josiah Williams has always been in love with the artform known as Professional Wrestling. Always seen going to shows with his grandmother, buying merch to support his favorites and attending meet and greets, T.J. wanted to be a part of the world he loved and a journey that started with backyard wrestling at the age of 10, proper training at the age of 16 and getting his official start on his 18th birthday helped him do just that.
The night he started this journey was bittersweet however, as directly after he wrestled his graduation match with his trainer, Mikey Shadows, his beloved teacher and surrogate father figure would sadly die in his sleep at the crisp age of 40. It was on that night that Taven J. Williams died and from the ashes rose the man the world would soon know as T.J. Shadows…determined to ensure the world knew the legacy that Mikey left through his blood, sweat and tears.
After 15 years in an industry that saw him as a member of several cults, win countless championships, be brainwashed by villains, become a yakuza member and even a general manager...Shadows finally felt he had done everything he wanted and promptly retired. However, the fire that he believed went out completely still lingered and after several one off matches as favors to several benefactors and fellow wrestlers, Shadows cut his retirement short at 6 months and rededicated himself to the craft starting from square one. Rather than wield an old sword, he would forge one anew, this time pledging to never leave his love again until the day he left this world.

T.J. prides himself with giving the crowd a show, regardless of attendance. He's a man of honor and respect and lives for experiences that celebrate imagination. He's not invincible, dealing with various mental health issues such as depression and survivor's guilt but prefers letting his demons empower him and motivate others rather than letting them weigh him down.
Entrance Theme:
“Rings” by Aesop Rock
Wrestler's Entrance:
The arena darkens as the sound of piano keys and a heavy bass erupts from the speakers. The crowd pops loudly and strongly as Rings by Aesop Rock begins to play.
As the song continues, the lights brighten a bit with a blue and white hue around the crowd as the spotlight leaves the entrance ramp and hits the crowd as T.J. Shadows walks out from the audience entrance hyping up the crowd. He starts to vibe to the music with some of the fans as he makes his way through the sea of people.
Shadows hops the barricade as he reaches it and continues hyping up the crowd as he makes a lap around the ringside area. He stops at the bottom of the ramp, takes a deep breath as he looks up to the sky, kissing his fist and raising it high before he rushes and slides in the ring feet first. He then springs up and starts walking around the ring singing the hook with the fans.

He nods before retreating to the west corner of the ring. He promptly climbs the turnbuckles, overlooking the crowd one last time raising both hands high to the sky before sitting on the top turnbuckle, waiting for the start of the match.
