Notes
- The show opened with Mr. Inoue standing in the middle of the ring. This would have to be considered an uncommon practice, as we usually get right to the wrestling action. However, today was a new day, a new year and BRAVE was welcoming the CWA World Heavyweight Champion. Mr. Inoue said that after careful consideration, he felt as though Daisuke Shinzaki would be BRAVE's best hope to dethrone Chris Card and to bring the CWA World Heavyweight Championship to the land of the rising sun. Mr. Inoue announced that the championship match would take place at the end of the month. The crowd roared with approval as the most popular wrestler in the federation, and a multiple time champion would now have his opportunity to take home the grandest prize in professional wrestling.
- After the announcement was made, The World Heavyweight Champion; Chris Card made his way to the ring. The crowd watched on with respect, barely making a sound. Once inside of the ring, Card nodded and bowed ever so slightly to Mr. Inoue. Card raised the CWA World Heavyweight Championship aloft, and the crowd in attendance applauded - knowing full well the gauntlet that their champion had to go through in order to procure the championship. Mr Inoue pointed to the locker room, expecting to see Daisuke Shinzaki, but instead - Satoshi Watanabe made his way out from the back. Watanabe is widely regarded as the biggest star in the company - a ruthless individual who takes what he wants by force. Chris Card was seemingly aware of this, and stood in the middle of the ring while keeping his eyes on the potential threat. The crowd buzzed, anticipating a clash of epic proportions. They wouldn't get what they were hoping for, as Watanabe surprised the crowd by extending his hand to Chris Card. After a moment of consideration, Card returned the favour. The most sinister and maniacal man in BRAVE had seemingly sought The World Champion as an ally, and not an enemy.
- Mr. Inoue said that since both Chris Card and Satoshi Watanabe appeared as though they were going to work together, he would set up a massive 8 man tag team match later in the evening which would pit The Shining Stars & Chris Card against four of BRAVE's finest.
- Hideki Sakamoto & Kai Fukuda continue to strengthen their partnership and were able to put that on display in a tag team match to kickoff the action for the evening. Fuuda showed excellent ground work in the match, using his judo background to keep Tanaka grounded. When it was time to hand things over to his partner, Sakamoto didn't disappoint. The aerial display we've come to know and appreciate was on full display. Sakamoto would earn the victory after taking to the sky and executing a perfect corkscrew moonsault to secure the victory.
- The SHADOW WARRIORS showed tremendous chemistry in this six man tag team match. Their unity was enough to earn them a victory over the BRAVE Tag Team Champions and rising star; Hiroto Sasake. Kenneth Marshall stood out in this contest as he often does, looking like an absolute workhorse. Roger Stevens was fired up, and seemed impervious of pain at many turns. Kurio Herutsu seems to be fitting in perfectly with his new stable-mates - and Shinya Okamoto looks like a bonafide superstar in the making. Okamoto would earn the victory for his team after catching a very game Hiroto Saasake with his patented backdrop driver after a furious exchange of reversals. The finish came swiftly and with force - and the SHADOW WARRIORS continued their winning ways. After the bout, Okamoto made it clear that their group was interested in challenging the current Tag Team Champions for their titles in the near future. Kenneth Marshall refused to back down and accepted the challenge.
- During the intermission, we were taken backstage to where The Speed Dragons were warming up, seemingly readying themselves for am match. Daisuke Shinzaki and his rival turned partner Akihiro Sagawa approached them to strategize as they were for four men selected to challenge Chris Card and The Shining Stars in tonight's main event.
- In the Main Event, the fans were treated to na absolute barnburner. Both side were game, knowing what was at stake. The involvement of the current World Heavyweight Champion added to the lore and luster of what would've been a major main event regardless of his inclusion. Satoshi Watanabe was as calculating as ever, and seemed to relish the idea of working alongside of "Big Match." Watanabe deferred to the champion where necessary, and the two of them worked well together. On the other side, BRAVE's eventual challenger; Daisuke Shinzaki seemed to have the crowd in the palm of his hand. He struck fiercely and often, keeping the opposition on their heels. SInzaki nearly had the match won after hitting a release dragon suplex on Kondo, but it wasn't to be. White Light II put forth a strong performance under the bright lights, which showed the masses that he doesn't cower under the bright lights. The referee should be commended for keeping the action on there straight and narrow, as there were many instances where Satoshi Watanabe and Chris Card tried to take the match off course for devious doings. In the end, they wouldn't need to resort to anything under-handed, and the World Champion proved to be everything he says he is - A well trained, well prepared fighting machine with the physical tools to take anyone out. Card's patented omega clutch put an end to a spirited effort from the opposition.

Reactions:
- The Shadow Warriors doubled down on their challenge to the BRAVE Tag Team Champions. They were coy when asked who would represent them in the eventual match. Jun Hirota said he wasn't sure if Mr. Inoue would go ahead and make the match out of fear that when they won the titles it would give them even more power than they already have.
- Kenneth Marshall and Roger Stevens were on the losing end of their match, but didn't hold it against Hiroto Sasake in anyway. Marshall actually complimented the young star, citing he got caught, and that those instances were the strongest methods for learning and evolving. Stevens stormed around looking angry and ready to throw hands with anyone who looked at him. Marshall said that he was well aware of the SHADOW WARRIORS and their M.O. He said that he knew what they wanted, and if they thought they were good enough to take the titles from them - they ought to come and give it their best shot.
- Satoshi Watanabe was all smiles after being on the winning side of things tonight. Watanabe said he feels a spiritual connection to Chris Card and the way he does business. Watanabe said that while he was in BRAVE, he would have the services of the Shining Stars at his disposal should we need them. He also said he was planning to show Card around Osaka to help make him feel at home. Watanabe then sent a stern warning to Daisuke Shinzaki. Watanabe alluded to the friendly relationship he has with Mr. Inoue, was the only reason he was selected to challenge for the CWA World Championship. Watanabe said he looked forward to the day where the two of them would step in the ring together to prove he was the better man.
- Daisuke Shinzaki was in good spirits all things considered. Shinzaki said he planned to make the BRAVE faithful proud. Shinzaki said he has always strived to be a World Champion, and that he would train and prepare for this opportunity to the best of his abilities.
- Chris Card blew off the opportunity to speak, but rumours were swirling that he planned to hold court with many members of the wrestling media in the near future.
