(Xiaolong is watching the snowfall from the comfort of his mansion a fire is burning in the fireplace. He turns and sees the camera and smiles as he walks towards the sofa and sits down enjoying the creature comforts of home.)
Xiaolong: "Welcome to my humble abode. As you can see it has all the creature comforts that anyone rich and successful can have and yes I do enjoy the weather outside.
I'm quite used to the weather and I am quite used to being snowed in but then again this isn't going to be a severe snowfall and I'll be able to come and go as I please being this is my mansion."
(He sighs and continues to smile.)
Xiaolong: "Oh well you aren't here to hear about my mansion or the weather. This is about my match with current NPW Cruiserweight Champion and Revenant member Rob Garcia."
(He bows his head and makes a congratulatory gesture of respect.)
Xiaolong: "Congratulations you earned the honor of being the champion Rob Garcia. You worked hard to earn the right to compete with the cruiserweights by shedding over twenty pounds to make it. You fought hard to defeat Lochlyn Cade after a true classic cruiserweight match and now you are the top cruiserweight in the tournament and our block."
(Xiaolong sighs again and he continues to look at the camera.)
Xiaolong: "Yes I know he odds are against me of winning both the block and the tournament. Yet I know about something called destiny. I do know about something called destiny since I always earned my way. You see my parents were wrestlers and I always wanted to follow them into the business but they wanted me to do something else."
(He has a look of distant reminiscence.)
Xiaolong: "All that backyard wrestling. All that amateur experience. Yet I was forbidden to become a professional wrestler, but nothing shall prevent me from reaching my desiny. So what does a young aspiring professional wrestler to do."
(Xiaolong snickers and giggles.)
Xiaolong: "I went to the heart of Lucha Libre and trained hard but my mother tracked me down and retrieved me but destiny intervened and I was allowed to continue to train.....with conditions of course."
(He shakes his head slowly.)
Xiaolong: "Thus I began my world travels and my destiny competing all over the place. I was earning my way and seeing the world wrestling the best winning championships and contending for them. Of course I travelled the independent route and not the big time promotions."
(Xiaolong smiles.)
Xiaolong: "Okay I came close with SWAT but it wasn't meant to be and thus I made my way to the AWF. Imagine I have had limited in the AWF but you had plenty in that promotion with your Revenant allies. Fate is fate I guess."
(He laughs.)
Xiaolong: "Thus I came here and I'm competing against the truly best cruiserweights which includes you Rob Garcia. Imagine my most bitter rival from the AWF could have followed me here but he decided to be a loser and thus he's wallowing in his own self imposed glory."
(Xiaolong sighs.)
Xiaolong: "This brings us to our match Rob Garcia. You and I earned our way to this point in the tournament and we shall see who can cement their spot in Block A or at least tie in the standings. Now I'm not going to underestimate you Rob Garcia since you are a great wrestler just like I am. Now we have to see if your fellow Revenants can keep themselves out of this tournament."
(He holds his hand up.)
Xiaolong: "Not that I doubt you can win this whole tournament yourself. I know you have the skills and experience to do so Rob Garcia but you never know what's going to happen. Yet I shall trust you to earn your way through this whole tournament just like I plan on doing the same. I'll leave it at that and I'll see you in the ring."
(Xiaolong sighs and sinks into the sofa as the scene slowly fades to black.)
