I requested an OOC board for a few reasons. It gives us an opportunity to interact with one and other, and it also serves as a safe area for people to ask questions or get involved in whichever way they want.
At the moment, there are angled/booked aspects of NPW, and there might always be. However, the goal is to become at least 75% RP based as we go forward. A general rule of thumb will be if you're Booked against me, it's likely because there is an angle at play that will help elevate your character within the ranks of the promotion. If you're booked against one of your fellow handlers, then participation will determine the outcome of the match.
The Role-play Board goes without saying. We have 1000 Word Cap on those posts. We also have a Reaction Board where you're able to freely react to your booking, what just happened at the last show and possibly address the wrestling media members who are looking for quotable material from you. In one aspect, picture it like you've just walked through the curtain in NJPW and the media is there with cameras to get your candid reaction to your match/angle. Also, you can use it as an opportunity to 'call someone out', or add layers to your character. Ultimately, I grade both areas of participation equally, and everyone is free to use each board as little or as much as they choose.
I'll always do my best to leave bread crumbs for you guys so that we can have our own little game of tennis. The more you volley things back over the net to me, the better. If I'm leaving bread crumbs and the handler can't be bothered to 'sell it' or take it a step further, odds are I'll stop doing it and allow the handler to come up with their own material.
Keep in mind, everything that I am doing, is done for a reason. Whether it's placement on a card, to me - that's always a big deal. I treat Northern Pro Wrestling as if it existed in the day where Kayfabe was alive and strong. We do our best to protect the 'business' and do what we can to 'sell tickets'.
When I book NPW, I'm looking at it in 3 month intervals. Sure, some feuds will have their payoffs in a shorter time, but there should be 1 or 2 themes that exist for a substantial amount of time and are the crux for that particular 'Quarter.'

I have our next show booked and it's sort of a 'Semi-Big' Event which will help lead into a supercard which takes place in early October.
Also, NPW will be hosting EOD Week 2.
This means that there are lots of opportunities to get involved on a regional or national level regardless if you have a match on the show or not.
I'm available on Discord or through PM's to discuss anything that's top of mind and am always free to discuss options and opportunities within the promotion.
I'm happy to have all of your on the team, and appreciate those who have given their efforts to push things along as I've been transitioning from 100% Angled, to 75% the other way.
I'm looking forward to what's ahead and hope that you all get some enjoyment out of the time and effort that is put into this place. There are lots of fun things on the horizon, and I can assure everyone that they will always get out what they put in when it comes to this experience.
Cheers,
