- We're still waiting for an update on the health of Eric Dane. In what can only be characterized as deplorable - Oxford Osland and I-69 attempted to end Eric Dane's career at the most recent Northern Pro Event. Dane might've let his anger and ego get the best of him, as he seemed intent on throwing himself into the fire against anyone and everyone who was willing to step to him. The fact that I-69 and Oxford Osland would attempt to destroy Dane's surgically repaired knee is reprehensible. With Night of Champions hanging in the balance, these recent developments cast doubt on whether Eric Dane will be able to defend his Canadian Commonwealth Championship at the event.
- What are Aaron Vasquez's intentions? What we do know is Vasquez is willing to accept financial compensation for his services. Eric Dane made it clear that he was hunting Vasquez, and perhaps Vasquez was aware that he had become a target. Were Vasquez's actions simply that of a man who was looking to protect himself? When Oxford Osland asked Vasquez if he was 'morally flexible' - is that truly the best way to describe his outlook? Regardless of the semantics, what we do have to understand is that Aaron Vasquez is and has always been, a very dangerous man.
- There was a lot of whispers around the water cooler in regards to KUMA and if he was truly distancing himself from the rest of the 'Shooters Club' outfit. If the results of the battle royal is any indication, it appears as though Malek Fredericks and Lance Romance now view KUMA as one of their enemies - and are willing to go to great lengths to show him that they aren't to be trifled with. Nobody likes to feel rejected, and the fact that KUMA scorned his former stable mates publicly seems to have worked against him in the short term. However, there is still the matter of his offer to Dusty Griffith. As of today, Dusty hasn't spoken about the prospect of working with KUMA in the future. This is a situation that's worth monitoring.
- Henri Bryndisarson was coy when he spoke to reporters after he was victorious in the Battle Royal. Henri is well aware that he now has a certain degree of power and authority, and can parlay his future championship opportunity into a career defining moment should he handle it properly. One thing is for certain - Henri seemed intent on making everyone wait on his next move. The savvy veteran will surely be the topic of conversation in Northern Pro Wrestling as we head into the summer months.
- Gus Arnold said that he would be announcing a couple of matches for the July 10th event in Moncton, NB. As of this writing, we're excited to announce that the first two matches have in fact been finalized. Off the heels of their performances in the Battle Royal - Lee Stevens and Zeze Taborda will go one on one on July 10th! Both men made it to the final 3 of the battle royal, and carried their battle on the outside of the ring after the fact. These two veterans will have all eyes on them, as their match is set to headline NPW's next show. In the Semi Main Event - young grappling sensation Gabriel Blight - who is coming off of a tremendous performance in the Battle Royal will do battle against Andrew Brookes. Brookes has made it a habit of inserting himself wherever possible as he looks to make an impact.
- Finally, The 2nd Annual August on the Atlantic Supershow will take place on August the 7th on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean. Last year's event was a smashing success, and there is hope that this will be the first Northern Pro Event where fans will be able to attend at half or 1/4th capacity. More details will be released as they're made available.
