- Lynx has announced one of the teammates that he will compete alongside of against Bloodline at the next show. Lynx enlisted his friend Gordon Carlson before declaring he felt as though the two of them would be sufficient enough to handle the three members of Bloodline. As per Gus' announcement, it will be a 6 Man Tag Team match, which begs the question - Who will be the 3rd member of the team to join Lynx and Gordon Carlson in the Main Event of Thursday's show? At this point, nobody can say for certain. This would end up being one of those 'last minute' decisions which ought to keep Esteban Fuentes and the rest of Bloodline guessing up until bell time.
- Gus Arnold seems to be at his wits end when it comes to connecting with Canadian Commonwealth Champions Eric Dane. So much so, that Gus was willing to listen to 'Timeless' Alex Turner when he suggested that he could find a means to connect with the hall of famer. Gus went onto double down on Turner's comment by ensuring that there would be 'something in it for him' should his efforts be successful. I don't know if Gus Arnold knows what he might've gotten himself into when dealing with the Man who is the master of Time and Space. This is certainly something to monitor going forward.
- Northern Pro Wrestling has been looking to expand it's roster in recent months, and over the past week the overall outlook for the roster has changed substantially. We noted in the past that Dusty Griffith, KUMA and Oxford Osland will be touring overseas in a talent exchange. As part of this deal, Gus Arnold has obtained the services of Black Jaguar. Jaguar was the running up in the initial Cruiserweight Cup in 2019, and is coming off a very successful stint in BRAVE - where he nearly secured a victory over their Junior Heavyweight Champion. Jaguar brings a wealth of experience and upside to the roster, and is set to make his return very shortly.
- In other news, we can now officially announce the signing of Jay Stevens. Stevens has spent the early part of his career travelling between Florida and the Midwest. After a very successful 2020 in which Stevens nearly emerged victorious in the stacked field that was the 2020 Cruiserwieght Cup - Stevens parlayed that into headlining for the Midwestern Pro region of the North American Wrestling Council. Stevens is only 20 years old, but has been wrestling the cream of the crop in professional wrestling since he first laced his boots. Our sources indicate that we might see Stevens as early as Thursday's event. Some wrestling insiders believe that Stevens has the makings of a Main Event Player, and has the potential to become one of wrestlings next superstars in the coming years.
- Former XHF Jr. Heavyweight Champion; The REAL Lord Dominicus has signed an exclusive contract with Northern Pro Wrestling. Dominicus has vowed to bring his own version of 'Darkness, Evil and Hate' to Northern Pro, and will stop at nothing to remind the wrestling world of his immense talents. The REAL 'LD' has proven to be a bonafide 'draw' in the XHF, and brings a strong amount of credibility to a roster that seems to be trending upward on a week to week basis. Who will be 'LD's' first target? I have a feeling we will find out sooner rather than later.
- The inaugural Canadian Heritage Champion; Gentry McCray has been overheard claiming he is ready to make his in-ring return for Northern Pro Wrestling in the coming weeks. The former World Champion and International Superstar brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the brand, which could bode well for the company as we head into the fall season.
- Finally, we are hearing rumours of a mega card that is set to take place in alignment with Canadian Thanksgiving in Early October. If the information is valid, we can assume that we will be hearing more about the event in the coming weeks.
