ANNOUCEMENT!
Northern Pro Wrestling is heading back to the Maritimes and the province of Nova Scotia for our summer tour! That's right folks, our next show will take place inside of the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This will be our home base throughout the next few months and beyond. The COVID cases in Ontario did play a role in our decision to start our tour of Eastern Canada a month early.
With that said, the Main Event for this show was announced on NPW Honor by Gus Arnold. We can now confirm that 'Technical Perfection' Chris Card will be in the house on May 11th, and will serve as the special guest referee for our blockbuster main event. We look forward to seeing all of our fans LIVE on May 11th.

Four of Northern Pro's best will enter the ring and they must rely on a teammate they've never teamed with to wrestle against a rival with whom they have unfinished business. Jesse Jamester has been tormenting Eron Hunter for the past few months, after Eron refused to align himself with 'JJ'. These two will finally lock up inside of the ring. John Cavanagh is breaking out as a superstar on the XHF Network, and he's going to use that momentum to take his place atop the marquee in Northern Pro Wrestling. The Leader of the Celtic Club has a future championship opportunity of his choosing in his back pocket, and has essentially wanted 'LD' that he's coming for him. As for the 'Triple Crown Champion?' - LD seems to welcome the challenge and hasn't taken a step backwards since his run-in with 'Cav' backstage a few weeks back. These four man are on a collision course, and they also represent Northern Pro Wrestling's DNA. Throw a local wrestling hero into the mix as the special referee, and you're bound to see fireworks. Do. Not. Miss. This. One.
What can be said about this? Actions will most definitely speak louder than words. It appears as though 'Timeless' and Primal have set aside their differences with the mind of taking on a common enemy. The Rev's walked into NPW with gun's blazing. They didn't care who it was or when, they were going to pick their spot and exert dominance. Well it just so happens that their opponents in this contest don't plan on lying down, and are ready to take the fight to XHF's Stable of the year! The Rev's turn heads wherever they go, and they know it. This will be their official debut in Northern Pro Wrestling, and they will most certainly have their hands full. But, how will Turner and Primal fare as a team? There is no way they trust one and other completely. Expect violence, and expect this match to have a chance to alter the landscape of the promotion.
'D' has taken Northern Pro Wrestling by storm. The Northern Openweight Champion showcased a vast array of skills and techniques that proved successful on his way to becoming a champion. He will wrestle 'The Canadian Heart Throb' in a non title match, with the mind to continue his brilliance. However, 'JV' is no slouch in his own right, and has been looking for opportunities like these since he signed on to tour Northern Pro Wrestling at the end of 2020. If Valentine wins, he's most certainly the next man in line for a championship opportunity.
The New Untouchables have been quietly establishing themselves as serious threats in Northern Pro. They will step up in competition and take on the team of 'LVZ' and Joseph Mack. Mack and Leon bonded over their love of sport, and their desire to give back to the next generation. These two have agreed to team up as part of the Trios Tournament in July, and are looking to build chemistry in lieu of their opportunity. LVZ made it to the finals of the Openweight Tournament and will most certainly receive another crack at the championship at a later date. In the meantime, there is no rest for the wicked. The stakes are high in this contest, as the New 'UT's' are also looking to get involved in the Trios tournament. A match like this can relay important information to be used in the future.
The former Imperial Crown Tag Team Champions have been nothing short of brilliant in both tag and singles action as of late. Niko and 'LD' have gone the distance twice, while Kono nearly earned himself a victory in the 'NOT', but didn't factor into the decision. The Dark Stars have been patiently waiting for their rematch against JJ & Colossus, and rumour has it that Gus Arnold is plotting something along those lines in the near future. But for now, they'll test their skills against two NPW newcomers with something to prove. Donzig and Freakke are both grizzled veterans and are both looking to use this match as their personal stepping stone to the upper echelon of the marquee. Based on the reputations of all involved, this match is fixing to be brutal.
Two of the biggest and baddest men in professional wrestling will lock horns in contest that won't be for the faint of heart. Joe Ghaven made his return to NPW with a very strong performance in the Northern Openweight Tournament. Fans have been clamouring for the big man's return after a brief hiatus, and it appears though 'The Iron Bear' is ready to put forth his best efforts going froward. The Colossus made his 'debut?' a month ago, and has new representation to boot. The Former Scott Steel seems intent on distancing himself from what used to be, and has a mind to carve out his own path within the company. Both men are eager to flex their dominance and this match will give both men the platform to do so. Expect fireworks!
Gordon Carlson made his return to Northern Pro Wrestling at the Openweight Tournament, and was cryptic about his intentions. One thing was for sure, he had his sights set on competing for the XHF Trios Championships, and seemed to have hand picked at least one partner from the NPW Roster to join him. What he couldn't have anticipated was being in the crosshairs of the Celtic Club. Andy Donohue dominated his match in the tournament, but didn't factor into the decision. This left our hulking Irishman in a bad mood, and he took his angst out on Carlson backstage at the event. What better way to solve some tension than to do so inside of the ring. Word is Gordon Carlson will be teaming with one of his partners in the Trios tournament. What a great way to kick things off on May 11th in NPW's return to the Maritimes.
