We open inside of a TV Studio, which is set up almost like a traditional Game Show. As were fading up, a graphic appears.
[The 2020 Lethal Lottery Drawing.]
[Canned Applause.]
Blake Samuels stands behind a podium, with what could only be described as a large bin to his right. This is the same bin that was used to select the respective pairings for Day 1 and Day 2. Gus Arnold is off to the left, sitting behind a large desk with a Halliburton Briefcase on one side, and the North American Double Crown on the other.
BS: "Good evening everyone and welcome to the the Lethal Lottery Drawing Show - I'm Blake Samuels. As most of you know, we're still 17 days away from Crowning of a Champion II - and it's fixing to be an epic event. We've all been glued to our seats, watching the last 6 weeks unfold to get us to this point. The 13 competitors who are still in the running to win the North American Double Crown have certainly earned it!
Blake turns for a moment to acknowledge Gus Arnold, who stands and makes his way over to the 'bin', as if to signify that it will be him who's overseeing the random number drawing for the Royal Rumble aspect of the event.
BS: "Gus and I will be here for the next hour, as we will countdown from numbers 12 to 3. Also, we will show you highlights from a house show event that took place last night. Once we've shown you the recap, the full show will be available to streams on the Northern Pro Wrestling website."
Blake and Gus exchange a glance, a nod, and Samuels gets down to brass tacks.
BS: "Before we get to there draw, let's take a moment to discuss what we already know about the Lethal Lottery Rumble."
[Highlights.]
[Maverick.]
BS: "Maverick found himself in the second chance battle royal through no fault of his own. Creative manipulation of the rules by Eric Dane and Scott Steel forced Maverick to have to fight his way back into the fold at the Lethal Lottery Second Chance event. Maverick would do just that, as he put on another incredible performance in Northern Pro Wrestling. When it was down to the final three competitors, nobody gave Maverick a snowball's chance in hell to survive what we setup to be a 2 on 1 beatdown at the hands of Scott Steel and Jesse Jamester. Against all odds, 'The King of Professional Wrestling' dug deep, and used his momentum to bring Jamester over the top rope with him at the same time. As we all know - this prompted Gus Arnold to include Maverick and 'JJ' in the Rumble, but they would be the first two competitors into the match."
[Highlight.]
[We see a replay of Maverick and Jesse Jamester hitting the floor at the exact same time, as Scott Steel looks on.]
[Jesse Jamester.]
BS: "Jesse Jamester is a grizzled veteran who made a positive impression on both Eric Dane and Scott Steel. So much so, that it appears as though the three of them have agreed to work together going forward. I say that, because after Dane's proposal at the start of the last show - mixed with Steel's fixation of the 'Lizardman' - Jamester and Steel maintained an alliance throughout the battle royal. Add to the fact that 'JJ' and 'SS' looked impressive against the Evanston Express a few weeks ago. 'JJ' will now spearhead a potential three man unit, as he will be the second entrant in the match. In fact, let's cut to highlights from last night's house show to see Steel and Jamester in tag team action.

[Highlights.]
[Spin Cycle.]
vs.
[Jamester/Steel.]
[We watch as Jamester looks very crisp inside of the ring, rag dolling Reggie Taylor with ease.]
[Scott Steel is shouting all sorts of obscenities on the apron.]
[Double 'big boot' from Steel and 'JJ' is shown.]
[Amazing Dragon Suplex from Jamester.]
[Jamal Williams looks on in horror, as his tag team partner eats some raw potato thunder.]
[The finish to the match came when Scott Steel executed an assisted power bomb with the help of Jamester. Reggie Taylor's back might be broken.]
[Close up of the sinister smile of Scott Steel.]
[Steel pins Taylor with one finger.]
[The Winners of the Match - Scott Steel & Jesse Jamester (2:30)]
[Cut Away.]
--
BS: "The 2nd victory for Steel and Jamester as a tag team. Something tells me that we might see more of this in the future. Now before we draw the first name of the evening, let's take a look at who's set to enter the Rumble at #13.
[Scott Steel.]
[We watch as Steel lays beatings on Jonnie Valentine, David Slater, Sheldon Warren and 'Timeless'.]
BS: "Scott Steel has to be one of the most feared men in Northern Pro Wrestling. He has been nothing short of unstoppable since he made his debut - and with an alliance with Eric Dane in full bloom, Steel would have to be one of the odds on favourites to win this match. The fact that he will have walk into this match with the biggest advantage is also a scary thought. But as it stands, we have an entire show ahead of us. Gus, if you could do the honours."
[Gus spins the bin, before reaching in.]
Gus: "The 12th man to enter the Lethal Lottery Rumble is...."
[...]
Gus: "Nemo."
[Hightlight Package.]
[We watch as Nemo destroys three men in his NPW debut.]
BS: "Nemo has proven to be a force in Northern Pro Wrestling. In round 1, Nemo and Dylan Black were able to advance passed Bryan Chase and The Enforcer. Nemo's penchant for violence makes him a very dangerous competitor. Coming in second last also bodes well for him, as one would have to assume that the rest of the field will be warn down to various degrees. What a break for 'The Church of Oblivion' representative."
[Gus begins to spin.]
Gus: "The 11th man to enter the Lethal Lottery Rumble Is..."
[...]
Gus: "Brad Swann."
[Highlights of Brad Swann and John Cavanagh earning their way into the finals.]
BS: "Wow, it's not like Brad Swann needs any advantages to be one of the favourites to win this event. But here it is, the 11th man to enter the match certainly fits under that category. We've all heard the stories, and we've seen how vindictive this man can be. After two straight wins within the promotion, Brad Swann has a ton of momentum heading into this contest and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if he left Crowning of a Champion II with another championship around his waist."
[Gus spins the bin, before reaching in.]
Gus: "The 10th man to enter the Lethal Lottery Rumble is...."
[...]
Gus: "Leon Van Zandt."
[Highlights of Leon being successful in grappling competitions throughout Europe. We watch him synch in his patented 'Sugar Hold' during his first tour of Northern Pro Wrestling back in the spring.]
BS: "Leon is as cool as a cucumber. I love grappling and I've made it a point to study it for many years, and there is absolutely nobody better on the mat than 'The Professional.' While his style isn't something that North American Wrestling fans are accustomed to, I can assure you it's supremely effective. If there was ever a guy who's flying miles under the radar, it would be 'LVZ'."

[Highlight Package from Last Night's House Show.]
[Black Diamond]
vs.
[Malek Fredericks.]
[Fredericks slaps Black Diamond around early in the match.]
[Black Diamond fires up.]
[X-Factor on Fredericks.]
[Fredericks is wobbled, and he stumbles into a 'Rain Maker' clothesline.]
[Black Diamond finishes the match with a 'Blackout' Suplex/Driver]
[The referee raises the newcomer's hand after an impressive victory.]
[Winner: Black Diamond -- (7:12)]
--
BS: "As you all know, The Cruiserweight Cup will be making it's return in January. This year's event promises to be HUGE! Black Diamond will be competing, among other top talents throughout the XHF Network."
[Gus spins the bin, before reaching in.]
Gus: "The 9th man to enter the Lethal Lottery Rumble is...."
[...]
Gus: "Jonnie Valentine."
BS: "Now this guy is one of my favourites. This man is one of the funniest I've come across in all my years in this profession. Unfortunately for him, h's been unlucky in NPW and a lot of that has to do with Eric Dane and nefarious means. In a match like this, it'll be every man for himself, and anything can happen. I for one have enjoyed every moment that Jonnie Valentine has been inside of an NPW ring, and surely hope it continues."
[Highlight Package of Jonnie's Thanksgiving Dinner with various celebrities.]
[Gus spins the bin, before reaching in.]
Gus: "The 8th man to enter the Lethal Lottery Rumble is...."
[...]
Gus: "Lord Dominicus"
BS: "The North American Cruiserweight Champion will be the 8th man in the match! Gun to my head, I believe that Lord Dominicus is capable of backing up his prophecy of continuing to be the ONLY Singles Champion in NPW. Its hard to argue, the man has been nothing short of brilliant since his debut this past September. Whenever he's been asked to step up, he has done so and gone above and beyond for the promotion. While I might not agree with some of his tactics, they certainly are effective. It wouldn't shock me in the last of 'LD' makes it all the way through this gauntlet with his hand raised at the end.
[Highlight Package.]
[We Watch as 'LD' pins Marcus Smith at End of Days to capture the North American Cruiserweight Championship.]
[We watch him exchange strategies and tips with Jay Stevens prior to their tag team match.]
[The final shot is of 'LD' handcrafting special collars for the litter of Corgi's he gifted to his opponents.]
[Gus spins the bin, before reaching in.]
Gus: "The 7th man to enter the Lethal Lottery Rumble is...."
[...]
Gus: "Jay Stevens."
BS: "Even though Stevens and Lord Dominicus were able to function as a team in round 1, I don't foresee them continuing to build chemistry in the royal rumble. Those two are cut from completely different cloths. Although, opposites do attract."
[Highlight Package of Jay Stevens and his history with Bloodline.]
[Footage airs of Stevens costing Bloodline the Imperial Crown Tag Team Championships.]
BS: "Stevens is a can't miss prospect who is evolving into a superstar before our very eyes. Nothing says 'I've arrived' more than a top notch performance in a match like this, against opponents like these."
[Gus spins the bin, before reaching in.]
Gus: "The 6th man to enter the Lethal Lottery Rumble is...."
[...]
Gus: "John Cavanagh."
BS: "The Former EWF World Champion has been on a tear in Northern Pro. It was he who delivered the deciding fall in round one to catapult himself and Brad Swann to the finals. He followed that up with a stellar performance in the 6 man tag team match that took place at the 2nd Chance Event. His signing was a major coo for that promotion, and I see nothing but big things for 'Cav' going forward. This is the kind of athlete that nobody around these parts is very familiar with, as such, could fly under the radar all the way to the end. He's someone to keep an eye on.
[Highlight of 'Cav' locking Adrian King int the Celtic Deathlock, which forced him to tap.]
[Highlights of Cav taking the fight to Timeless in the 6 man tag match.]
BS: "Let's take our last look at last night's house show, shall we?
--
[Danuwaanahilli.]
[Solomon Graham.]
vs.
[Les Rois Francais.]
[Solomon Graham shows off excellent mat work, applying a kokina clutch to Desjardins.]
[Danu fires up, before executing a picture perfect dropkick to Ouimet.]
[Stereo Superkicks from Danu and Sol on Desjardins.]
[High/Low attack by Danu and Sol on Ouimet.]
[It appeared to be total domination.]
[The match was coming to an end, 'Timeless' Alex Turner made his way to ringside, and started spouting off to Danu.]
[Sol didn't take too kindly to this, dropped off the apron and was ready to fight 'Timeless' right there.]
[Danu got the finish when he made Ouimet submit to his 'Indian Deathlock'.]
[Impressive Victory for the duo who are set to challenge for the Imperial Crown Tag Team Championships at CofaC II.]
[Winners: Danuwaanahili & Solomon Graham (5:37)]
[Cut.]
--
BS: "I really like the vibe of those two teaming together. From what I saw last night, their chemistry was instant and fluid. They should give the Dark Stars all they can handle in their upcoming championship match on December 17th."
[Gus spins the bin, before reaching in.]
Gus: "The 5th man to enter the Lethal Lottery Rumble is...."
[...]
Gus: "Dylan Black."
BS: "The X*Crown Champion wasn't welcomed with open arms in NPW, and has had to fend off attacks on the first two events he was on. While Eric Dane and Scott Steel might've gotten the better of him at the 2nd Chance Show - something tells me that Dylan Black will get his revenge in some form or fashion in the near future.
[Highlight Package of Dylan Black giving a nod of respect to Bryan Chase in a very human moment during their match.]
[Dylan Black going eye to eye with Eric Dane, with the X*Crown Championship draped over his shoulder.]
BS: "Anything can happen in a match like this. Imagine Dylan Black winning the North American Double Crown, and having to maintain a consistent presence in NPW? One can only dream!"
[Gus spins the bin, before reaching in.]
Gus: "The 4th man to enter the Lethal Lottery Rumble is...."
[...]
Gus: "'Timeless' Alex Turner."
BS: "I mean, what can I say about this man that hasn't already been said. Roll the clips."
[Timeless uses his mechanical hand to break Gordon Carlson's jaw.]
[Timeless taunts Lord Dominicus.]
[Timeless screws both Gordon Carlson and Eric Dane at End of Days.]
BS: "I was so angry with Timeless when he did what he did at End of Days. But that act inspired many weeks of highly competitive matches between some of the very best wrestlers from all over the XHF Network. As a fan - It's hard not to appreciate that."
[Gus spins the bin, before reaching in.]
Gus: "The 3rd man to enter the Lethal Lottery Rumble is...."
[...]
Gus: "Eric Dane"
BS: "Process of elimination tells us that Eric Dane will be the 3rd man into the Lethal Lottery Rumble, and the odds will be stacked against him. Think about it, every single wrestler that Eric Dane has insulted or put hands on are going to licking their chops when they enter the ring with the mind to light him up. The ace of his sleeve is that Jesse Jamester might still be in the match when he arrives, and the two of them are likely to form a partnership."
[Highlight Package.]
[Eric Dane defeats Oxford Osland to become the Canadian Commonwealth Champion.]
[Eric Dane vs. Gordon Carlson at End of Days.]
[Eric Dane and Dylan Black have to be separated backstage at the conclusion of Night #2.]
BS: "Ladies and Gentlemen, there you have it! The draw is now official, and the 13 men who will compete for the North American Double Crown are all aware of their placement in the match and can begin to strategize accordingly."
[...]
BS: "I can also officially announce that on December 31st, Northern Pro Wrestling will be holding a follow up show to Crowning of a Champion II. The only match that has been officially signed is Bloodline taking on Jay Stevens and two partners of his choosing in a Loser Leaves Town Match."
[Gus Arnold walks over and rests his hands on Blake's shoulder. The two share a smile.]
BS: "That's all the time we have for tonight. Please keep your eyes on the website for the link to the 'House Show'! For Gus Arnold, this is Blake Samuels, signing off."
