[Backstage.]
Things had simmered down between Eric Dane, his Bodyguard D’jour Scott Steel, and the newly acquired err. The Aurochs. They walked behind Dane at a respectful distance. Steel bearing the signs of the hard fought battle against Desolation.
This perhaps explains why Dane had The Mountain and The Bull of Bronze with him in this particular, and particularly specific instance. Nothing says U.S. Military Budget like two beef hosses to back up your every word.
Walking in front of the Hall Filling Hosses was Jesse Jamester, un-lizard masked on this evening. A duffel bag with shirts flowing out of it draped over his shoulder, and the briefcase in his other hand.
Jamester: Might be the night we add another to the ranks, aye boys?
Dane of course was oblivious to his surroundings as had become his way. What The Only Star knew for sure was that for as long as he carried the Double Crown title belt around, and as long as he had this kind of Grade-A USDA beef surrounding him, he would remain nigh untouchable.
The swagger of the champion had lost none of its appeal. But just when the group believed they would not be interrupted, a voice that belonged to none of them spoke from the doorway. It was not a member of the Northern Pro roster, but an outsider competing in the Cruiserweight Cup. The owner of the voice was the Dropkick King, Adrien Cochrane.
Cochrane: Good evening, Dane.
Adrien observes all the other men who he had no previous interaction with and just gives them a quick nod.
Cochrane: Gentlemen.
Scott Steel is just about to devour the soul of the Dropkick King when the NPW Champion pops back into this universe and is all of a sudden paying attention again.
Dane: Well fuck me sideways, is that Adrien Cochrane all up in my biscuits n’ gravy? After all these years?
Scott Steel and The Aurochs took this time to try and move together past Dane to shield the man, somehow this leads to the Aurochs Kool-Aiding an entire popcorn machine, and the vendor who probably wanted to make SOME money this evening. Steel reacts to the explosion of popcorn almost predictably, he glares at the frightened vendor who suddenly has dreamt up a new concern. Not being present here. Now. ever. again.
The Champ turns to Jamester.
Dane: Not that we used to stuff this kid in his locker in high school, because he ain’t that old, but we used to have the best of times laughing at this guy and making fun of his taste in music.
Jamester: What, you like Elvis too? They give me shit for it all the time.
Cochrane: I do, but it was mostly the Green Day-Simple Plan stuff that made me a bit of a punchline to them back then.
Steel laughs uproariously at that, Christ only knows why. Jesse turns his head with confusion, unsure who those bands are, but nods as though he does.
Dane: Fuckin’ Christ, kid, I thought we ran you outta the business back in what, 2005? 2006? Pfft! #FakeNews of course you made it! And look at you now! Still a cruiserweight! How’s that workin’ out for ya, kid?
Cochrane: Yeah, I don’t think my frame was ever meant to be a two hundred eighty pound doing powerbombs and such. But you know, I made use of my agility and trained up myself pretty decently since the last time you saw me. Which if you’re looking for the year, it was around 2010.
Dane: Yeah, I don’t really give a shit. SO HOW THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN?
Adrien suspiciously lowers his eyelids at Dane’s first sentence. His tone is drastically different as he answers the question.
Cochrane: Married. Two kids. Obviously still in the ring, but I’m beginning to suspect you’re not exactly all that interested in me diving into too many details.
Dane: Listen, kid, it’s great to see ya! Totes amazeballs or whatever you kids are calling it these days! So while I got ya here, let me drop a little knowledge your way, you know, like the good ol’ days-
Cochrane: I mostly used your “good ole days'' knowledge as a roadmap of what not to do, honestly. And I’m aware of what happens when someone new walks into these shows. I did my homework before showing up for the Cruiserweight Cup-
Scott Steel and the Aurochs step in closer, they form a large and imposing wall of muscle and twitching, all-encompassing, barely containable rage behind The Only Star. Dane straightens a finger, heeling his two attack dogs before they try to figure out how to play tug-of-war with Adrien’s intestines.
Jamester: So you saw the stack of body bags we’ve been sending to the morgue?
The play at being aloof now completely gone, Eric Dane is eyeballs to eyeballs with his exact opposite. A thousand ideas and a million consequences track through his head as he weighs his next words carefully.
Dane: Listen, kid, real talk, good on ya for growing up. This business is hard, and it makes hard men. If you managed to find a way to not let it beat you to death before now, then I can’t tell you how wonderfully tickled that I am for you. How-the-fuck-ever. The more things change, kid, the more they stay exactly the same. Keep your snot-nose out of my business and we can keep on keepin’ on pretending I remember the good ol’ days or that you didn’t walk around with a permanent wedgie for your first five years in the business. You pickin’ up what I’m puttin’ down, Mr. Cochrane?
Cochrane: Well, I’ll depart with this last remark then. I’m not the pushover I was ten years ago. Yeah, there’s a lot of things that are the same. But you know what isn’t anywhere near the same as it was when you were enjoying all the glory days?
Cochrane gives a dramatic pause before glancing at all the other eyes in the room before they meet with Dane’s one last time.
Cochrane: Me.
The Dropkick King gives one last nod before he looks over at Jamester, Steel, and the Aurochs. He turns on his heels and exits the room. The Only Star cocks an eyebrow and turns to Jamester.
Dane: The fuckin’ balls on that kid…
A theatrical tear comes to the Champ’s eye.
Dane: I could almost be proud.
Scott Steel seems to be mostly confused by the entire encounter, but before he can ruin the moment and the scene, Dane raises a single silencing finger.

Tyrone Walker had the crowd behind him from the moment he made his way to ringside. The reigning Cruiserweight Cup Champion was no stranger to be moments and big matches. After coming up short in his first match against the returning 'Night', Walker knew there would be little room for error as he took on one of the dark horse participants Gebin. Gebin was ultra impressive in his first match of the tournament, as he took Jay Stevens to the limit, which is something that very few have been capable of accomplishing since Jay set foot in Northern Pro as a full time competitor.
A split second was all it took. That was the difference between Gebin having his hand raised with three points in his pocket, or having his shoulders pinned and like Walker - needing this match to stay relevant in the tournament. The winner of this match would stay alive n the tournament, while the loser would be most likely mathematically eliminated from the competition.
The action was hard hitting, as Walker seemed to be willing to use the ring as a weapon, and his body was the ammo. Gebin was caught off guard initially, but he was no slouch in the experience department, and seemed to understand the mindset that Walker was operating under. So Gebin took his time, and waited and when the time was right, he play possum and moved out of the way of a frog splash attempt, As walker tried to regain his breath, Gebin locked him into a crossfire submission. The move was timely, as Walker was now searching for breath as well as trying to fight the pain of being stretched.
Walker showed grit, and refused to tap. He was able to rock back and forth, before rolled backwards and falling into a pinfall. The referee made the count, but Gebin was able to let go, and allow his shoulders to come off the mat before the referee would make the three count.
The fans applauded the efforts of both men, who fit the bill of professional wrestlers, who were looking to wrestle their way through to the finale of this event.
Walker used his striking skills to soften Gebin up in the corner, and then had ambitions of executing his version of the Spanish fly from the top rope. Once the two men got to the top rope, Gebin tried to escape, and Walker tried to keep him in his clutches. Walker's knee buckled, allowing his grip to ease and Gebin came off the top rope with an ace cutter! Both men laid on the mat, as the fans roared with approval.
The referee started to count both men down, and at the count of four, Gebin started to stir, and was up to one knee. Walker was right behind him, but it would be Gebin who got to his feet first. Gebin walked forward and blistered Walker with a variety of european uppercuts. Walker bumped backwards, and was met with a kick to the gut and nasty snap DDT from Gebin.
1..
2..
NO!
Walker was able shake the pinfall attempt, but Gebin wasn't relenting. Gebin picked Walker up, irish whipped him and caught him with a diving elbow strike. A running bulldog followed, and the FIRESIDE rep held for the cover, but Walker was able to get up at two once again.
The fans were excited and it felt as though there were pockets of the crowd that were willing each competitor onward and upward. Walker started to fight back, refusing to go down easily. Gebin was equal to the task, and was able sickout of a brain buster attempt by Walker.
The finish to the match occurred nearly fifteen minutes in, when Walker tried to hit a frankenstein's off of the ropes, but was planted for his trouble by Gebin with a poerbomb. Gebin hit the top rope with ease, and came off with a beaitufl shooting star press that he calls Empy Abyss. He landed it cleanly, and held for the cover. The referee was in position to score the pinfall in Gebin's favour.
Winner: Gebin via Empty Abyss (14:38)
The fans applauded both men. Gebin exited the ring and raised his hand. The referee stayed in the ring to check on Walker. After a few moments, the Hall of Famer, and winner of the 2nd Cruiserweight Cup got to his feet, while holding his ribs. He nodded to the crowd for their support. It appeared at that point, that he was aware that he had likely squandered his opportunity to become a two time winner - but the fans appreciated his efforts nonetheless.

Adrien Cochrane made his entrance first, jogging to the ring and tagging hands. Very untheatrical compared to his opponent. The ominous Niko, accompanied by the lovely and ominous in equal proportions Commandrix made his entrance second. He brandished a dagger and ceremonially removed some futuristic looking ceremonial armor whilst lasers shot from the turnbuckles illuminating the darkened arena in neon streaks.
Cochrane looked adequately impressed. He’s been around for a while so it’s not the first epic entrance he’s seen, but in addition to being epic it’s pretty unique. Nonetheless, the bell rang, and it was time for dropkicks.
Niko knew about dropkicks and sidestepped the very first one, spiking Cochrane down to the mat, hooking the arm in a hammerlock and going into an MMA style back mount, driving a series of elbows down on Cochrane. Cochrane covered up, bucked to his knees and rolled through, spun around, and instead of trying to go hold for hold with a much more experienced grappler, jumped over Niko’s head and kangaroo dropkicked him on the way over! Niko rose to one knee and adjusted himself as Commandrix barked some instructions from her position outside the ring. He launched himself at Cochrane.
Cochrane with incredibly quick reflexes jumped, stopping Niko in his tracks with a dropsault. Niko didn't quite fall, Cochrane rushed in with a clothesline remembering that countered dropkick from a minute ago - but Niko countered with a viciously deep arm drag. He tried to hook a simple armlock, Cochrane rolled to his feet and tried a hiptoss, Niko blocked it, hit another deep armdrag to throw Cochrane back in the other direction, and applied a kimura.
Now, Niko didn't have his bodyweight over Cochrane, so Cochrane was able to rock back and forth, use his lankiness to drive a knee into the back of Niko's head and roll to his feet, cartwheel to break the wristlock, throw a standing heel kick and twist, kicking Niko over backwards with his other foot. He ran to the ropes as Niko recovered, springboarded off the middle, showing shotgun dropkick - but this time it turned out to be a hurracanrana! One, TWO, and Niko was out at about 2 and a quarter. Cochrane tried an Oklahoma roll that just barely go 2, and a small package that barely got 1, and threw a superkick that... did not connect. Niko used the misaimed superkick to grab Cochrane by the hips and neck and hoist him up into a press slam. He pressed him for three reps, and then, in a show of strength that actually got some applause from the fans, shoulder-pressed Cochrane with one arm to get him vertical and upside down in the air, then twisted them both to the mat with a Jackhammer. One... TWO... THRREKickout at 2.9!
Niko pulled Cochrane to his feet and hoisted him into a front carry before slamming him into the turnbuckle. He lit Cochrane's chest up with a pair of chops, then switched it up with some shoot kicks to the ribs, and ended with a step-up knee from the middle rope. He tried to arm drag Cochrane out of the corner, but seeing the danger, Cochrane had the ropes in a death grip. Niko shifted gears, hammerlocking the arm and spinning behind Cochrane to try and get him out of the ropes... which was Cochrane's plan all along. He backflipped over Niko's shoulders, landing on the middle rope and, showing some much needed aggression, grabbed him by the chin and yanked him backwards to the mat. A quick step up to the top rope and a side rolling big splash got Cochrane a long two. Commandrix pounded on the apron as Cochrane set up a springboard. As he launched, Niko sprang into motion with a knee strike that dropped Cochrane to the mat. Niko then grabbed Cochrane's arm, stepped over it and kneeled over his back, applying a Disarmer.
Cochrane screamed in pain, but refused to tap. He army crawled with his one usable arm, reaching for the ropes. As he stretched his arm out, Niko dropped the disarmer to shoot a half nelson on him, pulling him away from the ropes. Hooking a body scissor, he began trying to lever Cochrane's shoulders to the mat. One... Cochrane muscled the shoulder up. Niko again bore his weight down - and as he raised his body for leverage, Cochrane was able to twist out of the half nelson and dive over Niko's body with an alligator clutch. Niko kicked out, Cochrane slowly stood up, and Niko ran in for the kill...
And straight into an Adrien Cutter! Cochrane held onto the head, gator rolled the two of them over and locked in a north south neck lock as the ref counter one, two, THREE!
Winner: Adrien Cochrane (14:52) via Adrien Cutter
Adrien Cochrane is best known for his dropkicks and high flying, but he had showed the level of technical skill he had. Niko shook his head in seething frustration as Cochrane hit the turnbuckle to celebrate.

Talk about unbridled energy. The New Untouchables hit the ring and were ready to rock and roll. Spin Cycle held a reserved approach, much like they often do, and tried to play off the energetic duo across from them as no threat to them. Reggie Taylor and Jeffrey Daniels got things started. After witnessing the conflict between the New UT and Eric Dane & The Syndicate on Day 1, we've had more questions about a potential backstory, and the relationship between The New Untouchables, and Jeff Andrews and Ronnie Long.
We've heard that Lee R and Jeffrey were fans of the outfit, and have somehow found their way into their good graces. We expect more to be released in due time in regards to their backstory, and how that may or may not play into their tenure with Northern Pro Wrestling. One thing's for sure, they were certainly introduced to The Syndicate, and if Dane's offer to have them work for him was legit, what would that even look like? Lots of moving parts at this point, and lots of time for them to unfold.
Do you like Superkicks? So do the New Untouchables. They made this a super kick clinic, an would often double super kick Jamal Williams while he held the tag rope on the outside, waiting for his opportunity to get involved in the contest. That opportunity didn't ever come - as The New UT showcased some excellent ring savvy, but cutting it off any and every time it was necessary, and always being able to control the flow of the contest.
WHACK!
Double Superkick Party for Reggie Taylor that turned him inside out.
Jeffrey hit the rope and came off with a nasty 450 splash on the already KOed Reggie Taylor. For good measure, Daniels hooked the leg, while Lee R hit Wiliams with another super kick. It wasn't a great night for Spin Cycle, and seem to have shrivelled up as of late, dropping another tag team match to a quality opponent.
Winners: The New Untouchables via 450 Splash (3:16)
The New Untouchables celebrated their debut victory in the ring. The fans in attendance seemed to be able to get with their energy as well as their wrestling style. Northern Pro Wrestling has been littered with controversy. Perhaps this new duo would bring the type of positive energy that is able to offset some of the negativity.

This match would go along way in determining would was able to get through the opening round and find themselves in the semi finals. Chris Cavanagh pulled what many might consider an upset by defeating Adrien Cochrane in his first match in Northern Pro - but for those who have been following the careers of the Celtic Club, namely Chris - would know that he's more then capable of winning this tournament. He would be in tough against the ace of Northern Pro Wrestling's Cruiserweight Division, and some might argue - the Ace of the entire promotion - The Real Lord Dominicus.
Chris pointed out that it was LD who eliminated his older brother John from the Lethal Lottery Rumble match. The defeat must be a sore subject around the Celtic Club's dinner table, as Chris is out fro revenge. LD seemed to question Chris' mindset entering the Cruiserweight Cup. LD implied that Chris was 'wishy-washy' in some of the things he said, as well in his actions.
There was a lot riding on this match, and the two men competing in it seemed to have no love lost for the other.
Chris was able to hit The Irish Destroyer early in the bout and receive a near fall for his efforts. This had LD on the ropes, forcing him to give his best defensive performance after suffering a high degree of damage at such an early point in the bout. Cav did some jawing, and seemed to relish in the fact he had one of NPW's loyal competitors on the ropes. LD was aware of the huge target he carries around with him, and his responsibilities as the North American Cruiserweight Champion - so Cav's trash talk seemed to fire him up. That, and whether he likes it or not, the NPW fans were firmly in his corner.
In fact, The Reaction to Lord Dominicus thus far in the CWC has been astounding. At some point in time, this will be addressed. At current point, LD hasn't acknowledged their blatant acts of approval.
Cav whipped LD into the corner, and was looking to hit a running clothesline, but LD got his knees up, and Cav ran right into them. Chris looked to take another swing, but LD ducked, before taking him down with a double arm DDT!
Close call, but it would take much more thean that to earn the pinfall over a vet like Chris Cavanagh. LD picked Cav up off the canvas, and sprinkled him with some flashy strikes, before executing a diving back elbow which caught him flush. Cav rolled out of the ring, which is where LD took flight, hurdling the top rope and executing a perfect Plancha! The crowd roared with approval, but LD laughed at Cav in an evil tone.
LD rolled Cav into the ring, and taunted him a bit by telling him that he enjoyed taking his older brother out of contention and soon he would be next. LD said that he purposely didn't send the Cavanagh's a corgi, because he knew by excluding them it would bring great pain and suffering.
Ld should've been on the offence instead using his free moments to Mock Chris, as the extra motivation seemed to fuel Cav's comeback. A throat thrust, sent LD staggering backwards, gasping for air. Cav got back to his feet, and snarled as he charged forward and executed the LARIAT he was setting up earlier. High impact to say the least, as LD found himself on his back in a heap of trouble. Chris went for the cover, but LD was able to kickout just prior to the three count.
When Cav picked LD off the canvas, he was met with a short elbow to the gut, to which Cav responded with a right hand, LD took it, and fired back.
YAAAA
BOOOO
YAAAAA
BOOOO
Cav ducked Ld's lunge and grabbed a waist lock. He tried to execute a German Suplex, but LD tucked his foot behind Cav's calf and prevented the move from taking place. LD then circled and went behind Cav. LD attempted the German Suplex, but Cav blocked it. Cav rolled forward trying to secure a pinfall, but LD blocked it mod roll and found himself on top. The referee went to make the cover.

LD Grabs the Rope for leverage.
3!
Winner: 'The Real' Lord Dominicus via roll up (13:22)
The referee didn't see it, but Lord Dominicus used the second rope for leverage just prior to the three count to hold for the pinfall victory.
The referee singled to ring the bell and awarded the bout to Lord Dominicus. Chris Cavanagh pleaded his case. LD pointed to his temple, suggesting he out smarted Cavanagh. At which point, we got an up close and personal look at 'Trigger' and his temper. Trigger exited the ring, and blindsided LD as he attempted to walk up the aisle. Incensed that LD stole the victory, Trigger whipped LD into the barricade.
The referee from the match ran up the aisle and broke things up. Trigger appeared ready continue the beatdown, but thought better of it. One third of the Celtic Club raised his hands high, and was met with a chorus of boos from the crowd as the segment drew to a close.

"Long Walk Home" by Howl Trance roared through the arena. Out walked Night, better known in wrestling as Eron Hunter or Lynx. Eron Hunter had success on night one, flying forearm smashing his way to victory. The confidence was in his walk to the ring, as he made his way down for his night two matchup with the one and only Jay Stevens.
Jay Stevens had a rather impressive counter pinup against Gebin on night one, reversing a superplex and tying up the feet with a small package combination. Some thought it was a slippery win, but here he was, Stevens and Eron, in the ring, facing another to determine who would get the first loss of their CruiserWeight Cup standings.
Bell tolled, and the two circled the ring. Jay Stevens had an heir of confidence tonight in his step. Eron Hunter smacked his knee, before pacing the ring eyeing up Stevens. The two clashed in the middle with a grapple, shoving one another, until Stevens slipped under the arm and behind Eron for the reverse waist lock, Eron threw an elbow, clocking Jay upside the neck behind his ear. Kicking the shin, then the chest, Eron Hunter grounded Stevens, before launching himself at the ropes and delivering a quick spinning wheel kick that catches Jay on the chin. Hooking the leg, Eron goes for the cover.
1….
2...
Shoulder shoots off the canvas just as the second count is reached. Stevens shoves Hunter off of him. Hunter goes in for a toe kick, but Stevens caught it, spinning his opponent around, who then delivers a hard reverse roundhouse kick that sends Stevens to the apron. Hunter wastes no time, going straight at him with a clothesline, Jay counters by blocking the clothesline, kneeing Hunter in the abdomen, and hooking him for a suplex! Lifting Eron Hunter into the air, Jay Stevens gets kneed in the head, causing him to drop Eron into the ring. Hunter toe kicks him through the ropes, bounces off the ropes from the other side of the ring, and dives over Jay, performing a sunset flip powerbomb to Jay Stevens on the outside mat!
THWACK!
Like a fly swatter smacking the wall, Jay Stevens splats on the outside. Eron Hunter shakes off his knee, which appears to be significant to his move set. Making the effort to pick up Jay and roll him into the ring, sliding in right after was Eron.
A crowd applause breaks out as the two men get to their feet in the ring. Stevens the worse for wear after that move. Eron Hunter sizes him up, going for a grapple, but Jay delivers a shoot style double leg takedown, and works the leg of Hunter. Single grapevine ankle lock from a laying position; Stevens aimed to slow down Eron Hunter and keep him working at his pace. So far it was an Eron Hunter show, and Jay Stevens wasn’t having that! Jay wrenched on Hunter’s leg, knowing full well, any damage he caused would carry to day three of the tournament.
Hunter pulled himself to the rope, getting the break. Stevens came at his leg like it had a bullseye on it, aiming to take out Hunter, who nearly back flipped onto his face from the impact of the shoulder to his thigh! Stevens immediately took the ankle he worked on and stuck it on the bottom rope, using the same rope, he bounced up, and sat on the ankle. Again, Stevens went and did it two more times, working his opponent like a veteran. Going to the well too many times, Hunter pulled his leg out and rolled over onto his knees. Release T-Bone Suplex from Hunter, and Stevens was sent sailing across the ring!
Hunter favored his ankle, yet made his way across the ring to set Stevens up in a powerbomb position. Lifting Stevens up, he dropped him and used both knees in his back, sending shockwaves through the ring! Eron Hunter immediately went for the cover, hooking both legs.
1…..
2….
3...
Stevens shoots a shoulder up, not allowing for the pinfall to finish. Using the bottom rope he pulls himself towards the apron. Eron Hunter shakes his head, obviously upset that didn’t seal this match in his favor. Hunter saw Jay and faked a running clothesline, which lead Jay to try and duck, which Eron took advantage of and drop kicked him off the apron! As the referee leaned out of the ring to check on Jay Stevens, Eron Hunter took to the air, bouncing from rope to rope before projectiling himself over the top rope and corkscrewing onto a rising Jay Stevens! Fans go nuts!
“HOLY-SHIT! HOLY-SHIT! HOLY-SHIT!”
Hunter rose to his feet, accepting the moves damage, however avoiding the fan interaction as he paid no mind to what they were saying. His focus was solely on Jay Stevens. Laying Jay up on the apron, Eron shoved him into the ring, and climbs up on the apron himself. Flipping over the top rope he delivers a senton on Stevens body before hooking the leg for a cover!
1….
2....
3…
Rope break! Jay’s foot hits the bottom rope right in front of the referee. Ring awareness 101, Jay Stevens wasn’t done yet. Hunter scooped him from the mat and sent him into the far turnbuckle. Slapping his knee before he ran, Hunter sprinted towards his opponent, splashing the corner turnbuckle, as Jay Stevens moved out of the way at the last moment. Jay hooked up a belly-to-back suplex to the shook Hunter, slamming Eron to the canvas!
Jay Stevens second wind was in full gear, and he began the pick-a-part of the ankle again! Latching on the ankle lock, he pulled Hunter away from the ropes, standing nearly mid-ring with it clutched in! Stevens yelled as his intensity increased with the move, eyes closing he wrenched on the ankle, looking as if he may just snap it!
Referee checked with Eron Hunter to see if he would submit, yet he wanted nothing to do with that. Rolling over he kicked Jay Stevens in the chest twice, before a third kick to the head. Stevens let go of the ankle for a moment, allowing Hunter to roll up to a knee, perched for a strike as Stevens turned! Spinning roundhouse kick!
Eron Hunter clocks Steven’s upside the head, sending him crumbling to the mat. Looking around, Hunter locates and ascends the nearest turnbuckle! His acrobatic display as he delivered the Nightfall! Shooting Star Legdrop onto Jay Stevens!
NO! Stevens was able to roll out of the way at the last moment. Hunter is hobbled and slow to his feet. He had seemingly put the fear of reinsuring his knee behind him. Stevens got to his feet, and set his plan in motion. Stevens stormed forward and locked his arms around Hunter's waist. BELLY TO BELLY!
Stevens transitioned his weight perfectly, and caught Hunter completely by surprise. Stevens floated over perfectly and hooked the leg.
1…
2..
3!
Bell sounded and the match was called by the ring announcer. Jay Stevens laid near the corner, appearing dazed.
Winner: Jay Stevens (17:43) via Belly to Belly Suplex
Following the announcement, Stevens tried to stand up, but had to use the ropes to gain his balance. Eron turned around and shook the cobwebs, while keeping his head down. Hunter looked up, and the two men made eye contact. Was Stevens about to attack? Was Hunter going to be able to harness the warrior spirit and not continue the fight?
Stevens held his neck as he approached Eron in the middle of the ring; the two long haired cruisers had just put on a clinic, and respect was given, as Jay Stevens extended his hand to Eron Hunter. Returning the favor, Eron extended his back, then raised Jay’s arm and gave him a respectful nod.

[Bonus Footage.]
[After what was a fantastic main event.]
Following the Eron Hunter and Jay Stevens match, backstage, Eron is wiping himself down with a towel as the long haired grizzled Jesse Jamester steps up behind him. Clearing his throat, Eron cocks his head, catching drift of who was in his personal space. Turning around to face the tatted and scarred Jamester, Eron Hunter didn't appear intimidated, instead, he looked bothered.
Jesse Jamester: Impressive match out there kid.
Eron's eyes wince as he takes a moment to scan Jesse and the surrounding area. Knowing the horrors of previous shows, the Syndicate could be right around the bend.
Jesse Jamester: Not here for trouble, trust me. Noticed you got 'it', talent, which is more than I can say for most here.
Pulling a shirt from his duffel bag, Jesse places it on Eron Hunter's shoulder and pats him on the shoulder.
Jesse Jamester: Think about it. Syndicate could always use another body.
Stepping back, Jesse nods and pivots on his heel, walking away from Eron Hunter who didn't say a word. The stadium hallway hears the echo of feet slapping pavement as Jesse leaves.

Block B Match
20 Minute Time Limit
Tyrone Walker [FA] vs. Gebin [FIRESIDE]
--Tyrone Walker had the crowd behind him from the moment he made his way to ringside.

Block A Match
20 Minute Time Limit
Adrien Cochrane [FA] vs Niko [NPW]
--Adrien Cochrane made his entrance first, jogging to the ring and tagging hands.

20 Minute Time Limit
The New Untouchables vs. Spin Cycle
--Talk about unbridled energy.

Block A Match
20 Minute Time Limit
Lord Dominicus [NPW] vs. Chris Cavanangh [FCP]
--This match would go along way in determining would was able to get through the opening round and find themselves in the semi finals.

20 Minute Time Limit
Eron Hunter [NPW] vs. Jay Stevens [NPW]
--"Long Walk Home" by Howl Trance roared through the arena.
--
[Bonus Footage.]
