Ace Andrews and Rick Rage are in the ring after their respective entrances. Our referee keeps looking to the aisle area, hoping to catch a glimpse of the third man for this match; Gaz Maybury. Our camera shoot backstage to Blake Samuels who is pacing around backstage looking for Gaz. The voice of Northern Pro is growing increasingly worried by the second.
[Whooosshhhh.]
The backdoor flies open and a gust of wind bellows into the backstage corridor.
[WHAM!]
The door strikes the brick wall with incredible velocity.
[Gaz Maybury.]
His eyes are wide, and he appears somewhat tired from what had to be an incredible journey jumping from vehicle on his to the area. After bidding his pal Fred farewell - Gaz hit the road with ambitions of making some of his previous misgivings a true element of his past.
Gaz: "I say I say.."
Blake Samuels rushes over to the Welshman, and offers some guidance. Samuels lets Gaz know that his match is about to start, and that he ought to hustle his way to the ring before he's no longer included in the match. Gaz doesn't allow Samuels to finish before he bull rushes forward, through gorilla and out the curtain. The rush doesn't stop there, as Gaz picks up speed as he hits the downward slope of the ramp before sliding in the ring.
The referee calls for the bell.
DING DING DING!

Ace Andrews vs. Gaz Maybury vs. Rick Rage
Three men looking to make themselves big names in Northern Pro Wrestling are already in the ring and ready for the evening’s bout. Gaz, Ace, and Rick took shots at one another in the early goings, eventually leading to Ace letting Gaz and Rick square off together. Watching from the corner, Ace was loving his opponents beating on one another.
A slam into the turnbuckle, followed by a mount, and Gaz regained control. This left him open to Ace Andrew who came in with a smashing elbow attack and then powerbombed him from his precarious second rope position!
Ace pummeled Rick in the corner for a bit before trying to take him to the top rope for a superplex. This left him vulnerable, as Gaz came in and pushed the two off with force to the outside. Both crashing alongside the barricade before Gaz rolled out and sent Rick Rage back in, leaving Ace on the outside.
Rick Rage would get clobbered with strikes as he found his footing, and Gaz Maybury showed a brilliant stride of moves as he sent the new talent to the ring ropes and lariated him in short fashion. Reaching for the stars, Gaz Maybury went for a top rope moonsault, only for Rick Rage to move out of the way at the last moment.
Rick set up Gaz for the Rage-Effect, and Ace Andrew caught him with a clothesline from hell, saving the match. Gaz would come out of the blue and wreck Ace with a clothesline over the top rope, before clutching Rick Rage in a fisherman suplex.
The two men traded blows and near falls. A back breaker from Rick Rage looked to spell the end, but Gaz wasn’t done and kicked out at a stiff two count. The Maybury effect kicked in, and the gleam in Gaz’s eye was the height of the match, as the next series of moves showed what he was really capable of when he did have his comeback.
Gaz whipped Rick to the ropes, back body dropping him to the canvas, followed up by a running elbow drop to the chest, and a good ole’ fashioned piledriver! Gaz motioned for the finish, and as Rick got to his feet, he met the main event spine buster! This was all that was written as Gaz hooked the leg, getting the three count as Ace slid under the bottom rope two seconds shy from breaking up the victory pin.
Winner of the match, Gaz Maybury via Main Event Spinebuster! (12:49)

(It's early afternoon and The Dark Stars and Dark Novas have arrived at the arena hours earlier than usual. They land their flying cycles in the parking lot and they push a series of buttons that makes them disappear into cubes. They go up to the entrance and find the doors locked.)
Niko: "The doors seem to be impassable."
Commanrix: "The wrestling card doesn't start for hours."
Terminatrix: "Why arrive early Commandrix."
Kono: "Then they should let us in since we're honored gladiators and should be treated as such."
Commandrix: "Then we shall beam in like we did the last time."
Niko: "When we did there was this individual called a reporter who we almost terminated."
Kono: "I know the perfect way to get in."
(Kono goes to the door as does Niko and they take one handle and tear the doors off and throw them aside.)
Commandrix:"You know they will make us pay for the replacement doors."
Kono: "They shouldn't have kept the doors locked while we were locked out. I bet everyone else is inside warming up and getting ready for the combat that awaits them."
Niko: "That's what happened the last time we arrived early."
Commandrix: "Let's go in but first we shall repair the damage to these doors."
Niko: "Yes Commandrix."
(The Dark Stars pick up the doors and begin to repair the damage that they did to the doors. Terminatrix uses a device that repairs the hinges and they use loose steel to weld into the hinges to complete the repairs.)
Terminatrix: "Nobody will know what had happened."
Commandrix:"Let's go inside."
(The Dark Stars and Dark Novas enter the arena and are walking through the corridors scanning the arena for any threats. They arrive at the ringside area and seethe ring crew setting up the ring. The Dark Stars motion and go over to the ring crew and begin setting up the ring themselves.)
Crew Manager: "What do you two think your doing."
Niko: "We're helping you setup this ring for our gladiatorial combat."
Crew Manager: "You can't set the ring up."
Niko: "Why not?"
Crew Manager: "Union rules and you aren't union members."
Niko: "We've done plenty of heavy lifting before."
Crew Manager: "You're professional wrestlers not crewmembers."
Kono: "Who will know."
Crew Manager: "I will and I'll report you to the union."
Niko: "Let's go."
(The Dark Stars go back over to the Dark Novas and they leave.)
Kono: "Imagine you want to assist setting up the ring and that's the gratitude we get."
Niko: "We have a tag team championship to defend and we have to defend both our championships and the honor of our home."
Commandrix: "Niko is right. Tonight we need to guard our new home from this threat known as The Syndicate."
Kono: "They think they can insult us with their immature comments about us. They can see up close and personal the aggression that these gladiators can unleash and we'regoing to destroy The Syndicate."
Niko: "Remember to wrestle smart and make The Syndicate pay for their attempts to takeover NPW and the whole XHF."
Kono: "Scott Steel thinks we talk and act like Alexa and yet in his promo he talks so fast nobody can even understand him"
Niko: "He talks about volcanoes and the ancient Roman city of Pompeii and stopping lava flows and magma."
Kono: "Yeah he talks tough but we actually did stop lava and magma flows. Let's see him do it without image manipulation and when it comes to how stupid he is during his sparring sessions. He needs sparring partners wearing masks to impersonate us. This proves how pathetic Scott Steel is and how stupid his IQ is."
Commandrix: "Do not underestimate his intelligence and Jesse Jamester. That is what they are hoping for and you are not going to fall for what they say about you."
Niko: "We're going to keep our control and discipline and we shall remain undefeated in the NPW. We're going to stop those pieces of trash as these earthlings will say and destroy them. No matter how long it takes and what we have to do to do it."
Terminatrix: "You'll do it smart and you'll do it successfully and you shall come out on top."
Niko: "We won't fail you or Commandrix."
Kono: "That is a promise we intend to keep and will never break. We give you our word of honor."
Commandrix: "That is what you need to do and you shall do it for the glory of Shaakar and the integrity of the NPW. It's imperative that you do so tonight and forever."
Niko: "As you command Commandrix and we shall do. The Syndicate shall see that we are both the irresistible force and immovable object and that they shall wish they didn't threaten our home."
(They reach their locker room and enter as the scene slowly fades to black.)
Tag Team Match
20 Minute Time Limit
Joseph Mack & KUMA vs. The Shooters Club
The Warehouse is the home of some of the more successful Canadian grapplers of the last five years, and Gus Arnold has had his hand in cultivating the talent from the early on set to the final product. Athletes like Kenneth Marshall and Alec Kirkland got the graduate system started. In 2020, two other men from two very different walks of life found their way to The Warehouse and now find themselves well versed in the training and coaching of Liam Beesley while being consulted by Gus Arnold.
KUMA entered NPW with a chip on his shoulder and a desire to hurt people. When he couldn't bully the biggest star in the company, KUMA decided to alter his views and turn the corner on a career that had found him on the wrong side of the law since it's outset. But, could KUMA continue to carry out this new lifestyle on a day to day basis. So far, it appears he can. But, not without consistent guidance from Gus.
Joseph Mack set NPW on fire when he made his debut at the Lethal Lottery in an attempt to shield off The Syndicate and their plans to humiliate Lord Dominicus. Fast forward a few weeks and Joseph Mack is going one and one for the North American Double Crown Championship against Eric Dane. A Match that he had won, if it weren't for the outside interference of Scott Steel and uber semester, Jesse Jamester.
At the last event, Gus made a huge statement when he unveiled the XHF Trios Championships, and cited that they would be home to Northern Pro Wrestling. An even bigger statement to those who were uninitiated, was the fact that he opted to have Joseph Mack and KUMA accompany him to the ring to make the announcement. It gave the nod that The Warehouse was all about 'us' and Gus felt it was through teamwork and collaboration that Northern Pro Wrestling has reached the heights that it has in the past three years.
Later on, Joseph Mack had a huge hand in Lord Dominicus executing the final pinfall on Jamester, and thus allowing 'LD' the opportunity to challenge for the same championship he challenged for just a month earlier. Mack's actions said a lot about who he is as a person and as a competitor. Mack wasn't going for force his way back into a situation. Mack also saw the best move to make for his team in the moment, which just so happened to benefit 'LD', and was designed to eliminate his opponents.
The fans in the arena chanted for Mack for a minute before the match started, as it's clear that his actions and words have resonated strongly with the NPW faithful. One could argue that Mack might stand alone at the top of the pecking order when it comes to the favourite wrestler of the fans.
Based on what took place in this match, and the message that was sent the last time out - Joseph Mack is a budding superstar, and he hangs around with some of the most respected wrestlers in Canada. KUMA said he wanted to put an end to this chapter of his life once and for all, and enlisted the services of the man he called "The Future" of Canadian Wrestling; Joseph Mack.
If this match is to be any indication for what could be ahead - we might've stumbled onto something great. KUMA and Mack were a well oiled machine, and showed strong communication in the ring to back up their already absurd skill sets.
The fans were into the team, and witnessed another act of kindness from Mack. Joseph caught Lance Romance with a vicious spine buster off of the ropes that was likely good enough to put the finishing touches on the match. But knowing just how much hatred and blurred lines there was between KUMA and the Shooters Club, Mack tagged KUMA in at the conclusion of the match to get the satisfaction of finishing the job. KUMA locked in a dragon sleeper with a body scissors on Romance and he was out cold in mere seconds. The referee called for the bell.
KUMA and Mack exchanged a knowing glance, and KUMA mouthed 'Thank you' to his partner. Once the referee had raised their hands, the duo hit opposing corners and saluted the crowd.
Winners: Joseph Mack and KUMA via Dragon Sleeper (7:22)

[Blake Samuels.]
Blake is all smiles in his navy blazer with a white shirt and blue tie with a small NPW lapel pin on his blazer, highlighting his company man aura.
Blake Samuels: "Northern Pro faithful welcome back and I'd like to take some time to introduce three men. Now, two of them have been making their names known since they arrived here and one is one of the most recent additions to the NPW roster. These men of course are John Cavanagh, Chris "Trigger" Cavanagh and Andy Donahue. Gentlemen, welcome and John thank you for giving us this time."
The camera cuts to show John Cavanagh seated with his piercing blue eyes fixated on Blake Samuels, next to him sat his lovely manager and fiancé Shannon Riley who as usual was by far the easiest one of the group on the eyes and also the one who seemed happiest to be there, directly behind Shannon stood the overly-confident, gum chewing Trigger Cavanagh that the NPW faithful had grown so fond of but the true elephant in the room stood behind "The One Man Dynasty" John Cavanagh and that was a young man that John had dubbed "The Heir Apparent", this man was a tank of a man standing at just over six feet tall yet weighing in at 280 pounds of nearly pure muscle--this man was Andy Donahue. Andy snorted and flexed his pecs, he knew the camera was on him. John nodded his head and looked at Samuels--his expression said it all: "let's go".
Blake Samuels: "John first and foremost we all know you and Trigger, we have all become very familiar with Shannon accompanying you to the ringside area but the man many in NPW are most interested in learning about, at the moment of course, is the hulk of a man standing behind you--Andy Donahue."
John Cavanagh: "What about him? He's a god damned machine Samuels! Now I'm not one to speak down on my own abilities and strengths--let's be clear, in the majority of outfits in this business I would easily be considered "the muscle" but as far as The Celtic Club goes, in case you can't tell by the looks of the guy, he is the muscle's muscle. That means he's here to show all the boys back home in Hell's Kitchen that it doesn't matter where Andy Donahue goes--he's the biggest, meanest son of a bitch you're gonna find."
Blake Samuels: “Well, with that being said...tell us a little bit about the Celtic Club now that Andy Donahue has officially signed with NPW?”
John Cavanagh: "The Celtic Club? Tell us a little bit about The Celtic Club he says--that's a pretty vague question, aren't you supposed to be a journalist, Samuels? What do you wanna know about it Samuels?"
Blake Samuels: "Well, for starters: how did it come to be?"
John smiled, this was an easy one.
John Cavanagh: "The Celtic Club came to be the moment my mother pushed Trigger outta the womb. My brother and I have been through shit storm after shit storm that life threw our way but each time the Cavanagh boys bounced back and dominated the hands we were dealt. When I entered the business and found some singles success I told Trig he should come along for the ride. He got his shit together and started hitting the ring too. Ever since then we've been dominating whatever we decide to put our hands on: World Championships, secondary titles, Cruiserweight, Tag Team--didn't matter. Now, Andy Boy here? He's a different story he was working around the neighborhood, known him since he was a little punk hanging out around his grandfather's gym. In case you couldn't tell he still spends a lot of time at that gym. Andy is beginning his career and let's just say he's got two of the best teachers he could ever dream of. As a matter of fact, Andy is like a little brother or cousin to Trig and I--we all have each other's backs until the bloody end."
Blake Samuels: “You were the first team to throw your names into the XHF Trios Tournament. Is this the type of atmosphere where you believe you’ll have an advantage over your opponents since the three of you are like family?”
John chuckled under his breath, he looked at Shannon in disbelief, she rolled her eyes and shook her head.
John Cavanagh: "Advantage? When you look at this trio over here--you see the pound for pound greatest wrestler in the entire world in myself, the toughest cruiserweight walking this planet and the biggest and hungriest athlete in this god damned sport! You've seen what my brother and I have done since we entered Northern Pro--we may not always win but not one opponent has decidedly defeated one of us. As of press time John Cavanagh has yet to be defeated outside of some bullshit prick lowering a rope on me. Do I think we have an advantage? No Samuels, I KNOW we have an advantage--there isn't a three man combination better than us in the NPW."
Blake nodded his head, his face looked a little confused--maybe they don't know he thought.
Blake Samuels: "Well, these titles may be exclusive to Northern Pro Wrestling but they are open to trios from all around the XHF and even outside. NPW has a much deeper roster than you give it credit for and the XHF as a whole has an even larger talent pool so I...."
John Cavanagh: "Nobody cares what you anything! You called me to get this interview, right? You could have been interviewing some nobody for your check this week instead you get to interview someone worth a damn and you're going to question my answer to your question? OK, Blake, let me rephrase that last sentence so we can cut through the nonsense--there isn't a three man combination better than us on God's green Earth!"
Blake shook his head in disbelief.
Blake Samuels: "I guess that's one way to stop another line of questioning. Always a joy to work with Mr. Cavanagh if I do say so myself."
John rolled his eyes as Andy snorted once more and cracked his knuckles in an attempt to intimidate Blake. Blake catches notice and his face becomes a bit more serious.
Blake Samuels: "OK, I can take a hint Mr. Donahue no need to pop a vein. So, Mr. Cavanagh, with your victory in the triple threat match, you now possess the ability to challenge for a championship of your choosing. Who are you targeting?”
John smiled, he put his hand on his chin as if he were pondering his response.
John Cavanagh: "That's the first good question you've asked tonight Samuels, well done. I know we're in Canada but I'm gonna have to use an American cliche and invoke my fifth amendment privileges. See, I'd rather let some people sweat, let them shake, let them have some sleepless nights and develop a few extra gray hairs across their head. I don't see a need nor do I have any minute desire to expose who will fall victim to the opportunity I now possess. Will I let Trigger take Lord Dominicus' Cruiserweight Championship? I know the prick deserves another beating and Trigger deserves some gold. Will a combination of the two of us topple The Dark Stars? Why not, any combination of us are miles better than those two--pretty sure Trig even beat one of them already. Or will I end the reign of Eric Dane, assuming that is he gets passed Joseph Mack? I know where the top prize in the NPW belongs and whether its with this opportunity or the next its just a matter of time before its mine anyway. Decisions, decisions--lucky for me I don't have a time to decide by. With that being said, these "champions" that Gus Arnold has--they all know they're marked and if I so decide, their days as champions will come to an abrupt and unceremonious end."
Blake Samuels: "Continuing..."
John Cavanagh: "I don't think so. I've said just about all I'm going to say here--Gus Arnold wants to pay me to sit down and answers questions...wants to pay these two to stand around and look scary, that's all fine by me but as far as I'm concerned, Gus got his money outta me. Let's get outta here."
John and Shannon stand up as Blake Samuels looks onward with a stunned expression--he was unsure how to respond, he knew he may need to work with these guys again and didn't want to completely burn the bridge. As John and Shannon disappeared off screen Trigger followed. Andy remained behind to stare down Blake, he snorts and flexes his pecs a few times before laughing and walking off.
Blake Samuels: "Well, ladies and gentlemen, there you have it...The Celtic Club. Let's get back to ringside for more exciting NPW action!"

30 Minute Time Limit
The Church of Oblivion vs. The New Untouchables & Leon Van Zandt
When Gus Arnold announced that he was partnering with The XHF to bring the newly minted XHF Trios Championships to Northern Pro Wrestling - the possible combinations and matchups were worthy of the salivation that followed. Three man groups like The Church of the Oblivion would surely find their way into the mix, as to would The Celtic Club, who we've heard from earlier. The advantages that these outfits have over a random group should be ever present due to chemistry and comfort.
Here we have The New Untouchables, two high flying young workhorses teaming up with a european grappling savant who is effective rather than flashy. Polor opposites, but that's the beauty. In proper cohesion, perhaps there would be some chemistry that we wouldn't have been otherwise exposed to had we not had the Trios division.
Gus felt it was pertinent to set things off with a bang, so here we are. The first official Trios match in Northern Pro Wrestling.
The fans were buzzing, expecting a lot of energy and high impact offence between the two teams. The Church of Oblivion weren't as crisp as they usually are, and seemed to struggle throughout the match. Nemo was standoffish, and didn't even get himself involved in the match. Perhaps something went on prior to the match that we aren't privy to, and Nemo is out looking to teach someone(s) a lesson.
On the other side of the coin, The New Untouchables were bouncing all over the ring, looking fairly slick. The star of the match was Leon Van Zandt, who has been nothing if not consistent since he signed his NPW contract. After the numbers game prevented Leon from earning the future championship match in the three way dance at the last event, Leon seemed more alert, and looking to take control of the match by imposing his will on the mat.
Nechrophage ended up getting caught up in LVZ's clutches, and struggled to escape. Like a surgeon, Leon carved right through Necro's ground defence, and before long found himself in a dominating position. Leon set the trap, making it seem as though he was going after his opponent's neck when it reality he was looking to lock up his Sugar Hold! It was precise, and at first glance isn't the flashy submission we've come to see in professional wrestling, but based on the lock on Necro's face - he felt the pressure was too much to bear, and nodded to the referee that he had enough.
Winners: The New Untouchables and Leon Van Zandt via Sugar Hold [8:12]

[Backstage.]
We watch as Leon Van Zandt walks the halls, looking for his dressing room. As he rounds the corner, he sees a fellow competitor standing there, almost waiting for him.]
[Joseph Mack.]
Mack: "Sugar Hold, Eh?"
Leon doesn't know what to say. Instead, he attempts to walk past Mack and continue on his way. Mack stops him.
Mack: "I meant no disrespect. I've just never seen anyone use that particular submission."
LVZ: "The techniques were passed onto me by my mentor."
Mack: "How would you feel about coming to the Warehouse next week?"
Leon takes a breath, before responding.
LVZ: "Does Gus know about this?"
Mack: "That's the reason why I'm here."
Leon contemplates.
Mack: "Listen, I'm not asking you to expose all of your secrets... maybe just a couple?"
Mack's joke breaks the tension. Leon can't help but grin.
LVZ: "Gus has been good to me. I'm happy to help."
Mack extends his hand, and Leon accepts.
[Handshake.]
Mack: "Pack a bag, and I'll make sure you have quarters at the dojo. It'll be peaceful."
Leon seemed to appreciate that. The two men walk together towards the locker room.

Grudge Match
30 Minute Time Limit
'Timeless' Alex Turner vs. Primal
"Am I Savage" by Metallica hits the PA. The lights dim and mist forms around the ramp. The tron shows images of a deep dense jungle slowly being traversed and ends up on an image of Primal's hideous mask. His "true face". Primal slowly slinks out of the back and to the stage as the heavy riffs kick in. He looks around until the lyrics start then he lets out a growl and spits on the stage then walks with purpose to the ring where he rolls under the ropes and to his knees. He looks around in pity at the humans who watch him, decked in the horrid trappings of this false "civilization". He slinks to the corner and sits down awaiting his foe.
“Orion - Eternity (Chillout Version)” hits and Turner struts down the aisle, glaring at the crowd with contempt and disgust. Roxylishus stops to interact with one of the crowd, then wretches and turns away heading to the ring, she gets up on the apron and holds the ropes down for Turner. Roxylishus grabs the mic and passes it to Turner.
Timeless : I got passion in my pants and I ain’t afraid to show it!
Crowd : I’M SEXY AND I KNOW IT!
Timeless : No (holding his hand up to block them) Your not! I (points to himself with his thumb) AM!
Timeless drops the mic and saunters smugly around the ring impressed with himself. Primal stands up and looks on at Alex Turner through his jungle mask. The battle began as the bell tolled and the two went for a lock up, Alex shifting under Primal, and trying to go with his speed to get the early advantage. Primal had none of it, and spun around, sparta kicking Timeless into the turnbuckle!
Alex looked on in disbelief, the man was strong, but not only that, he was agile. Seeking the refuge of the ropes for a moment, Alex put himself between the ropes so the referee called off Primal and allowed Alex to rethink his game plan. Speed alone would not be enough.
Plan B, Alex launched at the tree trunk legs of Primal, hoping to double leg takedown the man, and to his surprise he was able to. Primal however immediately rolled over, mounting Alex, and striking with force. Primal would pull Alex to his feet and belly-to-belly him over his head, sending Turner to the far side of the ring!
The display of power was immense, and whether Alex wanted to show it or not, he was taken aback by his adversaries ability. Rolling out of the ring, Alex played catch up, not letting Primal control the pace of the match. He paced the outside, seeking to annoy Primal, but his opponent didn’t bite, so Alex Turner jumped on the apron and shouted at him, seeing if he could bait the jungle jamboree to his trick. It worked, and when Primal came rushing at him, Alex grabbed his neck and guillotined him on the top rope, before sliding into the ring.
Timeless went for the bulldog as Primal spun around holding his neck, and hit it. Trying early on for the Turnabout, Primal had it scouted and rolled through, causing Alex to be caught on the bottom rope, where Primal pummeled him with punches until he let go and rolled to the apron. As Timeless got up, Primal kneed him in the gut on the apron, and then suplexed him into the ring. Fans were shouting for Primal, and booing Timeless, as the masked man showed a power prowess only matched by the biggest men in NPW.
A t-bone suplex followed up by a catch and release rebound german, and Timeless was flying all over the ring taking bump after bump from his foe. Primal goes for a spinebuster, but Timeless takes the offensive counter and DDT’s him instead!
Primal no-sells, it didn’t phase him! He stands right up behind Timeless, who is cocky and arrogant, flaunting that he is smarter, and as he turns around, he is met with Primal standing him nose-to-nose. Timeless steps back, eyes wide, wondering what the hell was going on - and throws a heavy haymaker! Primal doesn’t even react, he takes it and stands there. Again! Timeless can’t believe it! Timeless goes for a third and Primal ducks, grabbing him by the stomach, and military pressing him into the center of the ring for a back bump!
Alex rolls to the turnbuckle and gets up slowly. Primal is distracted by Roxy on the apron with the clippers. Alex yells something across the ring, and Primal turns to him. As he does, Roxy grabs the braids on the back of Primal’s back, his long matted hair braids look like dreads falling from his shoulders. She quickly knots them to the top rope and jumps off the apron.
Alex’s gameplan was in full effect, and he took this opportunity to rush at primal with a shining wizard, bringing him to his knees. Primal went to get up and go for Timeless, but the braids stop him. Looking behind him, he sees what has been done, and begins yanking on the braids, but his arms can’t reach behind him to do so in full force. Alex gets some licks in, hitting Primal upside the head, before bouncing off the second turnbuckle and kicking Primal in the head, sending him to the canvas, yet hanging from the top rope by the braids.
Alex motions to Roxy for the hair trimmer. As he gets it, he sees the chance, why wait for the win, when he can shave the beast now! Shaving patches on the back of Primal, Alex and Roxy look on with smiles that quickly fade as the hair grows back almost immediately!
Timeless looks at Roxy with disbelief, who also is stunned by this. What magic voodoo was this!? Roxy yelled for Timeless to finish him, and as he went to pick up Primal to spike him with a piledriver, Timeless got flipped over the top rope, awkwardly falling on the apron. Primal kept pulling at the hair braids that were still latched to the top rope. Primal head buttes Timeless, rocking him as he stands on the apron. Primal leans back as far as he can and shoulder thrusts Timeless so hard he flies off the apron, hits the barricade, and rolls over into the audience! However, the braids cause him to fall through the ropes and Primal is stuck hanging awkwardly on the outside of the ring by his dreaded knots. As the referee checks on Timeless, Roxy comes up and swift kicks Primal in the family jewels!
The groan of pain is heard throughout the arena. Referee returns to the ring and begins to count out both men. Roxy goes to Timeless to help him, trying to get him to stand up, and Primal holds himself while hanging from the top rope and tied up in the middle rope, in a weird syfy style turn of events, both men get counted out!
Match is declared a DRAW, via double count out! (15:28)
Primal finally gets cut down by ring crew members, and as he does, we see Roxy and Timeless get out of dodge. They couldn’t believe it, as the braids were cut, the hair grew right back, as though it never left the man’s body. Fans in attendance were freaked out by Primal’s hair growth as well, some puking at the sight of this hairy yeti, and others just showing displeasure as to how this man was allowed to walk the streets.
Timeless and Roxy stopped briefly at the top of the ramp, looking down to the ring where Primal was standing. The two gave him a look of disbelief, but also curiosity, before disappearing behind the entrance curtain.

We move to the back where Lord Dominicus appears to be finishing up a phone call.
LD: Yes, yes it has to be there on time. It’s literally life and death.
There’s a pause.
LD: I’m sure it is very irregular but if you could see my face you’d understand that irregular is my normal. Anyway, can you do it? Wonderful. BEGONE!
He hangs up and not a minute too soon because coming into the frame is NPW’s backstage interviewer, Blake Samuels. LD jumps a little because every good interviewer knows how to sneak into the scene.
Blake: Hello everyone, I am here with Lord Dominicus, the current North American Cruiserweight champion- who will be challenging for the North American Double Crown against Eric Dane at our next show! Now Lord Dominicus, you and Dane have been trading barbs la-
LD: Let me just correct you right there. I have been throwing barbs but Eric Dane has remained largely silent. With the work he’s putting into retaining his championship I wonder if he’s also intending to steal Koch Knocker’s finisher, the Least Effort.
He chuckles to himself.
LD: Let’s get this straight. Since the Lethal Lottery Dane has been high on his own fumes and hasn’t even taken the time to consider that perhaps his perch on his pedestal is more precarious than it would seem. He’s not focused on me because he feels like he is invincible. And you know what? Let him continue to think that. Let him overlook me because although I may have several irons in the fire- nothing would make me happier than to watch Dane’s world come crashing down.
Blake: Speaking of several irons in the fire, you’ve been working matches at FIRESIDE with your tag-team partner Dinosaur Bones- are you concerned that these matches may tire you out before your run-in with the champion?
LD: Again let me correct you. Dane is the Double Crown Champion, not “the champion” as you so irresponsibly put it. It’s true, I’ve been out flying the NPW flag across the Network, and as somebody who’s healthy and able to do it, there should be no issues. But you do my opponent a disservice. While I’ve been in FIRESIDE dropping NPW references, Eric has been in SWAT making himself look like a self absorbed jerk by flying his own brand, of course. Oh and he’s been hiding in the bathroom here?
Blake: Well I’m gu-
LD: Look, aright, between you and me?
Samuels looks directly at the camera, then at Dominicus.
Blake: ….Yes.
LD: I don’t have any evidence, but it wouldn’t surprise me if Dane has been so quiet because he’s been busy trying to pressure Gus to handicap me. I don’t know how, maybe making it a two-on-one or even three-on-one or maybe having me wrestle with a hand behind my back. Maybe he’d even threaten to quit.
Blake: Why would he do that?
LD: Have you seen how Dane operates? He can’t win on his own and when faced with the prospect of a fair match he’s probably in a panic. See guys like Dane float around the wrestling world. He’s an old hand, a veteran, probably sells himself as a legend- sure, maybe he’s earned that. But he probably game to Gus, told him all the stuff he’d do for the company- oh he’d build it up and make it great. But let me ask YOU something
Blake: Ok?
LD: What has he actually done?
Blake: Well he won th-
LD: When Dane took a few months off, NPW took off like a rocket and then the company grew under me as the ONLY singles champion. Now don’t get me wrong, that wasn’t all me. But where I represent the growth and expansion of NPW’s dark cloud across the Network, Eric Dane is more content to use his status and his posse to keep the rest of this garden of talent from growing- lest they threaten his position at the top.
Blake: Well certainly you’re standing as a threat now.
LD: You’re absolutely right I am! I’ve been around the Network long enough to see what’ll happen when Dane doesn’t get his way. He’ll just go to the next place and be a headache for the roster there, probably talking up all he can do for that company to the owner too. I mean, doesn’t he have a foot in SWAT now? As though his own poor performance was somehow Gus’ fault.
Dominicus points to the camera.
LD: Well let me tell you something. Gus Arnold need not worry for a minute about losing a guy who can’t handle a fair fight. Dane, if you think that you’re being treated unfairly by being expected to actually be a champion when you have the gold. If you want to quit and run away to a place that rewards your brand of toxic existence…
He leans in close to the camera.
LD: Go. Ahead.
Dominicus slowly makes a popping sound with his mouth to add the period. He then straightens back up and re-focuses on the staff member at his side.
LD: Of course, all of this is between you and me, right?
Blake: Yeah…I guess.
LD: Good. Anyway, I have other affairs to attend to.
Dominicus wanders off
Blake: Well there you have it folks. Lord Dominicus versus Eric Dane, coming on March 16th!

Imperial Crown Tag Team Championships

No Time Limit
The Dark Stars (c) vs. The Syndicate
Two of the best tag teams that you'll find anywhere on the XHF network were scheduled to compete in the Main Event of the first Northern Pro Wrestling show in March. The Syndicate's recent win streak started this past November. Scott Steel and Jesse Jamester clicked inside of the ring, which has lead to these two men looking to forego their individual careers for the greater picture that involved the two of them joining forces to prove that they are the most dominant and vicious tag team.
The Dark Stars have been impeccable champions since they won the honour by defeating Bloodline after an open challenge at the conclusion of an event this past October. The Dark Stars are undefeated in NPW as a team, and have enjoyed some success in singles and in inter gender tag team matches with their wives. Stylistically, the two couldn't be further opposed than these two. Two HOSS types vs Two men that are capable of taking to the air, or are willing to stand in the middle and trade strikes.
The atmosphere was buzzing, and the fans knew that this was a match that was bound to happen at some point, and they were finally going to see it LIVE in the flesh after months of waiting.
Early On, the champions used the ring and tandem offence to back Scott Steel into their corner. The mountain of a man did his best to hulk through the vicious strikes, but he did sow signs of weakening, when they dropped him to one knee and executed stern absent dropkicks to the sternum of the big man. A rocket launcher from the top rope from Niko was an early highlight, but the offence only earned the Dark Stars a one count.
Steel was a menace to hold back, and finally snapped out of his slump by grabbing Niko by the neck. and launching him from one side of the ring to the other. After Niko gathered himself, he was irish whipped into the ropes and met with a big boot. Steel flexed and slobbered everywhere while yelling with excitement. Steel tagged JJ in, and the smaller, but still much larger than a normal human being - Jesse Jamester entered the ring and started things off by grabbing Niko's neck and putting all of his mass on him. Forcing Niko to carry the weight, as JJ wrenched on his neck. JJ seemed well versed in various holds that torture his opponents. Mix that with a savvy technical background and you have one hell of a problem on your hands.
JJ tossed Niko into the ropes and nearly took his head off with a running clothesline. JJ two hand shoved Kono who was on the apron. Kono hit the ground, but as he did he took a dive For JJ's boots. Kono tried to pull JJ under the ropes, but to no avail. But from behind. Niko hit a running Yakuza kick that caught JJ clean as he was trying to turn away from the leg hold.
A quick tag, and double power slam followed, driving JJ into the mat. Kono covered, but JJ was up before two.

Another quick tag and Niko hit the air with a well executed Moonsault. He held for the cover

Kickout.
Niko picked JJ up and tried to use forearm smashes to back him into their corner. JJ showed a great chin, taking some of Niko's best shots and the force behind them seemed to wake JJ from his slumber. A vicious right hand followed after JJ ate a few - and the impact was massive, dropping Niko to the mat. Niko tried to pop up but JJ was on it and caught his arms and then folded them together and executed a beautiful butterfly suplex.

KICK
JJ irish whipped Niko into the corner and followed him in with a jumping forearms smash. As Niko bounced off the corner, JJ tagged Steel, and the dup executed a Canadian backbreaker slam into JJ's knee, which was out there like it was on a platter. The move knocked the wind from Niko's sails, as he struggled around the ring trying to find the air.
Scott Steel thumped his chest, while stalking Niko. Commandrix jumped up on the apron and tried to distract Steel with something she brought to the ring. From our vantage point it looked like it might be a protein shake. Steel;s head tilted like he was processing what was in front of him. This allowed the illegal man, Kono to launch himself from the apron and execute a driving shoulder tackle that wobbled Steel. Based on the psychology here, we were left to consider that the Dark Stars noticed that Niko was in rough shape, and needed to give him time to recover, while allowing him the opportunity to crawl to his corner for a tag.
The issue was, Scott Steel has the might of many men, and the raw boned strength to back it up. Steel snapped into focus and choke slammed Kono to the mat hard. He went for the cover, but the referee refused to count, citing that he wasn't the legal man.
Steel was angry, yelling at the ref todo his job.
Sensing that referee damage and a DQ were next on the menu, JJ sprinted into the ring to move the referee out of harm's way and to talk sense into Scott Steel.
Steel turned around to see Niko finally to his feet, and in the distraction, both Dark Stars executed a double leg sweep which brought Steel to the mat. Niko took the legs and Kono the upperhalf. Single Leg Grab and Camel Clutch! Steel was being bent in ways nature hadn't intended, and the referee was still caught up with JJ!
Steel tried to power out of it, but without full use of extremities, it was going to be a very tall task. JJ finally snapped back into the match and stomped Niko, before blindsiding Kono with a bulldog from the camel clutch position. The referee seemed to be losing control and just when he wanted to regain authority in the match - the Dark Novas were up on the apron, looking to distract him. Termanatrix slipped into the ring and handed Kono something! Kono put it on his hand, it appears to be Brass Knuckles!
WHAM!
Kono clobbered Steel with the knux. Steel is down, and out. Referee turns around sees the pinfall...

2..
3NO!
Collectively, the DS/DN faction put their heads in their hands. They thought they had it, but the super human toughness of Scott Steel prevailed on that attempt. JJ was ecstatic, knowing that confusion they often create in their three man stable was replicated and elevated by the four person act across the ring from them. Medicine I'm sure the Syndicate doesn't enjoy tasting. JJ had his hand in the ring, willing Steel to get back to his feet, not knowing he ate a fist full of brass moments previous.
Niko and Kono looked to set Steel up for their but Steel was ablate fight it off, and eventually smashed his two foes' heads together like a couple of coconuts. The act earned Steel some reprieve, as he followed it up with a couple of stiff short clotheslines. JJ kept willing Steel to the corner to make the tag, and although the stubborn side of him wanted to stand and fight, he opted to bring in the fresher man and showed immense trust in his tag team partner.
JJ hit the ring and it was if he had cultivated the energy from the arena and made it his own, because he was on fire. Kono was dropped with an emerald fusion driver, while Niko felt the impact of a brain buster suplex. JJ picked Kono up and brought him in tight, before hitting the ground with former and snapping Kono down hard with a vicious DDT. He covered.

2..
NO! Niko made the save.
went to the eyes, and somehow got a thumb through JJ's mask, enough to cut him off for the time being. Steel saw the impact while recovering, and tried to get into the ring, but the referee sensed it and cut him off. The Dark Stars both hit the ropes and were going to execute random clotheslines, but JJ ducked and hit Niko with a back elbow, sending him through the ropes. When Kono hit the ropes, he was caught by a nasty spine buster from JJ. JJ made the tag to Steel and in one swift motion the duo planted Kono with a double Powerbomb!! Steel held for the cover as the legal man

3!!
After a hard fought battle, we have NEW Imperial Crown Tag Team Champions - The Syndicate! [16:43]
JJ counted to three along with the referee, and once the decision was official, he went to the time keeper's table to grab the championship gold. JJ handed one of the Tag Titles over to Scott Steel, and the two men waited for the referee to raise their hands in victory in the middle of the ring.
The camera looked on as an exhausted Niko looked on, theorizing about keeping the fight going. But The Dark Novas hit the scene and talked him down. They might've lost the battle, but there was no shame in the way they've carried themselves as champions. They will receive a rematch. Niko instead rolled Kono out of the ring.
The camera shot back to inside of the ring, where the New Imperial Crown Tag Team Champions were holding their titles aloft. The final cut of the show is of the celebration taking place inside of the ring.
