Gus: "Good Evening Northern Pro Wrestling Fans."
The owner smiles, beaming with excitement.
Gus: "I want to thank all of you for tuning into our first episode of Honor. As our company continues to grow and expand, and our relationship with BRAVE in Osaka strengthens - we intend to bring our fans more high impact action from some of our brightest stars. In saying this, I believe that our brand is in the best shape it has ever been, and that is all thanks to the loyalty of our rabid fanbase."
Gus smiles and clears his throat.
Gus: "Our Northern Openweight Tournament is set to commence in a little over a week, and I couldn't be more excited to see who emerges victorious from the stacked field of competitors. The winner will have undoubtedly earned the right to carry around the Northern Openweight Championship and will make regular defences of this championship going forward."
"We have committed to bringing a brand new division to the XHF Network in the form of Trios. Teams of three will compete in the ultimate test of teamwork and collaboration. Wrestlers from all around the Network have been invited to take part in the inaugural tournament to crown the first champions. Our tournament is set to take place on Canada Day - July 1st, 2021."
[Canned Applause.]
Gus: "So, as you can see - there is a lot of big things set to take place within our organization in the coming months. As for our show which is set for May 11th, I have decided to shake things up and bring four of Northern Pro's finest together in a tag team match of epic proportions."
[...]
Gus: "The NPW Triple Crown Champion; Lord Dominicus will team with the 2021 Cruiserweight Cup Winner; Eron Hunter."
[Pause for Effect.]
Gus: "Their opponents will be..."
[...]
Gus: "The man who holds a future championship shot and leader of the Celtic Club; John Cavanagh. His tag team partner will be one half of the Imperial Crown Tag Team Champions; Jesse Jamester."
"These four men are no strangers to one and other, and have had their fair share of conflict with one and other. It's time to settle it inside of the ring, in the this massive Main Event on May 11th."
"Until Next Time. Stay Safe and Stay Humble.

Julius Fristik vs. Lance Romance
20 Minute Time Limit
Julius Fristik vs. Lance Romance
Son of Jesse Jamester; Julius Fristik makes his NPW debut. His opponent Lance Romance was no slouch in the ring. 3 years of experience, Lance had hung in there with a few notable names. Julius found himself in the corner to open the match, losing the test of strength in his collar and elbow tie up. Lance worked the midsection, hoping to put away the young Julius early. A series of ducks, drop downs, and leap frogs from both men followed once they left the corner.
Julius caught Lance off guard with a knee to the face on a rebounding irish whip. Following up with a snug headlock to keep Lance grounded to the canvas. Tenacity of both men showing early on, their drive to be recognized and make an impression was seen in their energy. As the men stood like gladiators to slug it out, raining right haymakers on one another! Getting the better of that exchange, Lance Romance took Julius up for a brainbuster, only to be kneed in the face and reversed into a bridging dragon suplex. Fans ooooh’d at Julius’s eagerness to show off his arsenal, but he was keeping it simple, mostly strikes and well timed kicks.
Julius rocked Lance Romance with a standing frankensteiner off the top rope! Fans blew up with cheers for the men and their acrobatics. Julius caught Lance coming off the ropes and threw in a death valley driver, but would launch him backwards and deliver a 3/4ths turn neck breaker on Lance! The match was decided by an Alberta Plex for the pin fall. 9 minutes 32 seconds (9:32) was the match time.

Donzig vs. Reggie Taylor
20 Minute Time Limit
Donzig vs. Reggie Taylor
One half of Spin Cycle; Reggie Taylor welcomed NPW newcomer Danzig to the promotion in what was a fast paced and competitive matchup. Taylor is known for taking his offence to the skies, and isn't afraid to throw caution to the wind at any point during his matches. With his tag team partner; Jamal Williams looking on, Taylor brought the fight to the NPW newcomer.
Donzig carries himself with a bit of a chip on his shoulder, and is afraid to throw his weight around inside of the ring. Donzig was able to move out of the way of a Reggie Taylor moonsault attempt, and follow it up with some nice grappling mixed with suplex's and throws. A nasty double arm DDT spike Taylor head first to the mat, which signalled the beginning of the end. Donzig took a moment to flex for the crowd, taunting his opponent in the process. His patented 25:17 followed, and Taylor's head bounced off the canvas like a basketball. Donzig made the cover, and was awarded the bout at the seven minute mark.
News and Rumors
The Syndicate is no more. Our sources are saying that what was once a mutually beneficial arrangement has since soured. While this might be true, it certainly hasn't slowed Jesse Jamester down in the slightest. In fact, these developments might prove to be a blessing in disguise. Jesse shined in his opportunity to secure the CHF Ta Team Championships, and has positioned himself as one of the odds on favorites to win the XHF Rumble. Coupled with the fact that his son Julius appears ready to make his NPW debut on tonight's show and all seems to headed in the right direction for the 'Canadian Nightmare.'
Speaking of odds on favorites to win the XHF Rumble - enter John Cavanagh. The leader of the Celtic Club has come out of his shell in recent weeks and has proven to be a force in Northern Pro Wrestling. The leader of men has turned quite a few heads in preparation for the 50 man Rumble, and some insiders have him pegged as the dark horse to win the entire thing. Moreover, John is set to make his intentions clear in regards to his championship aspirations in the near future.
The ReVenants are here! That's right, the three hottest free agents on the XHF Network have signed on with Northern Pro Wrestling. Their introduction to the masses made a major impact and sent shockwaves through the entire promotion. We've yet to hear directly from anyone within their camp, and we are in the midst of trying to lock down a personal interview with the group in the near future. At which point, perhaps we will grow to understand a bit more about their future aspirations.
Alex Turner and Primal have been tearing down arenas over the past few months, and their rivalry hit an apex during their last man standing bout at our last event. Unfortunately for the two of them, they were attacked and launched off of the stage by the ReVenants. When opportunity knocks, they answer. We already know that Primal is out for revenge, and if we know anything about 'Timeless' we know he's plotting revenge from his hospital bed. This is definitely a situation to monitor.
Jay Stevens and Eron Hunter have put on three of the best matches you'll see anywhere around the world over the past few months. Both men have grown and learned from the other, and have now openly granted the other their respect. it's safe to say that the fans adore each competitor, and that the second half of 2021 is as bright as could be for both men.
The New Untouchables made a huge splash at our last event by coming to the aid of Gaz Maybury, as well as watching Kirsty Mckinney's back. Even since Jeff Andrews openly stepped away, it seems as though Daniels and Scott R. are standing a little taller on their own, looking to carve out their own paths to success, But they might want to keep a close eye on one and other, as The Colossus and The Dark Stars respectively will have revenge on their minds.
Isabel Rios and Commandrix treated the fans to the first Steel Cage match in Northern Pro Wrestling history at our last event, and both solidified themselves as bona-fide stars. Rios will now move on to challenge Nicole Anderson for the SWAT Amazon's championship, while Commandrix will be laying in wait for a future championship opportunity. It's clear that both women where the NPW colors with pride, and give it their very best each and every time they step inside of the ring.
Leon Van Zandt, KUMA and Joseph Mack seem to have forged a bond over the past few months, and all three competitors are said to be bringing out the best in one another. Leon put his name into the XHF Trios Tournament with 2 Partners to be named later. Our sources are telling us that Joseph Mack is a lock to be part of the team, and the third member might turn out to be the Canadian Grizzly himself. If this is true, this would shake out to be one of the more formidable teams in the field and should represent Northern Pro Wrestling well in competition.

Bryan Chase vs Malek Fredericks
20 Minute Time Limit
Bryan Chase vs Malek Fredericks
A grudge match for Chase to find some momentum. In the month leading to this, Chase has not been seen. A promising talent of the NPW roster had lost his rhythm. Malek looked pissed off, leading to an altercation before the referee officially rang the bell. Shoving Chase into the corner, Malek was the aggressor early on in the bout. Man handling Bryan Chase as though he were a rag doll. Malek took Chase from corner to corner, following with a military press drop that he splashed him after on.
Chase found a break by dodging a shoulder tackle in the corner, letting Malek dart himself into the steel post. Rocking Malek with repeated elbow and forearm strikes, Chase was able to complete a series of suplexes to lead to a belly-to-belly. Malek kicked out at a long two. A rambunctious Chase went for the clothesline, and Malek Fredericks ducked, snapping a neckbreaker! The impact tweaked Chase’s neck in a way that didn’t look good. The referee checked if he could go on, but Malek didn’t pay any attention as he set him up and delivered a winged sitout powerbomb but Chase Victory-Rollled forward into a pin! Referee counts three as Chase sneaks a victory! Winner decided by pinfall, Bryan Chase. The match time was 6 minutes 49 seconds (7:49).
Malek lays on the canvas as Chase celebrates, and the referee calls for a medic after kneeling beside him and asking a few questions. More to follow as it develops.

Timeless has been running a gauntlet of fights with Primal in NPW. Last week he was featured in the Last Man Standing match as the Main Event of the NPW normal televised bi-weekly show. 20 Minute Time Limit
Kono vs Lee Scott Rothlesberger
The Main Event of the evening finally dawned on the house show audience.Pyros went off as the 20% capacity crowd rose to the music of one half of the Dark Stars, and next up to fight, Kono. He made his way to the ring in short fashion, looking to not waste any time. Lee Scott Rothlesberger came jogging down to the ring afterwards. One half of the New Untouchables was hoping to gain some traction in singles competition here tonight, unlike his partner.
Both men fought tooth and nail from the opening bell, seeking to one up the other with a hold or counter to get the crowd to pop. It was mid match that Kono was getting stomped on in the corner, and as Lee Scott picked him up he plucked him in the eyes with two fingers. A cheap move but it was the window to grounding Lee Scott and locking on submissions to wear him down.
Fighting with closed fists, Lee Scott got an advantage by ducking a roundhouse kick and delivering a spinning neckbreaker on Kono. Getting back into it, Lee Scott went for a missile drop kick off the top rope, and Kono caught him with his own dropkick to the midsection! Both men were laid out on the canvas for a solid 8 count before they responded.
Kono was unusually aggressive, and this cost him as he went for a turnbuckle clothesline and Lee Scott hit an STO on the Dark Star. A strong moonsault would follow, and Lee Scott would miss as Kono rolled out of the way. Taking advantage of the young man’s miss, Kono locked on an Air of Death hold! Lee Scott struggled to get free, reaching for the ropes, but Kono was able to lock the scissors on tight and eventually Lee Scott faded! Winner by referee’s decision, Kono of the Dark Stars! Match time was 15 minutes and 49 seconds (15:49).
