[Fade Up.]
Blake Samuels: "Good evening wrestling fans and welcome to the second edition of NPW Honor!"
[Canned applause.]
Blake Samuels: "Before we get to tonight's action, we have Gus Arnold standing by LIVE from the Warehouse in Dartmouth, NS. Take it away, Gus."
[We move to a split screen with Blake Samuels on the left, and NPW Owner; Gus Arnold on the right.]
Gus Arnold: "It's great to be back in Nova Scotia where this promotion started. Our loyal fans have stuck it out during the pandemic, and we couldn't be happier to have some of the biggest matches with our very best talent while we're here. Our next event will take place on May 25th, and it will be headlined by an 8 team Battle Royal, where the winning team will walk away as The Imperial Crown Tag Team Champions."
[The crowd reacts with cheers for the Tag Team carnage they will see only 5 days later.]
Gus Arnold: "We believe that our tag team division is as good as any other in the world of professional wrestling, and I have no doubt that this match will be ultra competitive. The winners of the match will have undoubtedly earned the right to call themselves one of the best tag teams in the world today."
[...]
Gus Arnold: "With that being said, we plan to stay in the area well into the summer season and perhaps beyond. We will be hosting August On the Atlantic once again this year on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean in another action packed two day event. I have already announced that on July 1st, in partnership with the XHF Network we will be hosting SHOCKWAVE! This event will be highlighted by the inaugural XHF Trios Tournament, along with an Amazons Championship match and capped off by a grudge match between Eron Hunter and Jesse Jamester."
[Fans explode at the stacked card announcement from the NPW owner. ]
Gus Arnold: "Which brings me to an announcement that I wanted to make here and now. I believe wholeheartedly that this match is as big as any match we've ever had in Northern Pro Wrestling's first three years in business. To my eye, two of the best wrestlers in the world today will compete against one another with the prize of the North American Cruiserweight Championship hanging in the baMalek."
[...]
"On June 8th, The reigning North American Cruiserweight Champion; 'The REAL' Lord Dominicus will defend his championship against the number one contender; Jay Stevens. This is a match that the wrestling world has been waiting for, and we are set to give the people what they want. So mark it down in your calendars folks, because you won't want to miss this HUGE Match which will headline our show on June the 8th. More matches will be announced in the coming weeks. Thank you for your time, and go enjoy the rest of the broadcast this evening."
[The split screen goes away, and Blake Samuels remains present.]
Blake Samuels: "What a monumental announcement made by Gus Arnold. Two of the very best wrestlers in the Cruiserweight Division will finally compete against one another inside of the squared circle. This is a wrestling fan's dream come true. In light of this announcement, I'd like to welcome Jay Stevens to our broadcast."
[We go back to split screen, with Jay Stevens on the right.]
[Jay appears to be taking the call from his hotel room.]
Blake Samuels: "Jay. I know that this match is something that you've wanted for quite a while now. The fact that you and Lord Dominicus teamed together in the first round of the Lethal Lottery, you two have a degree of familiarity with one and other. Share some of your thoughts in regards to this major announcement."
Jay Stevens: "I’m excited to finally have an opportunity to challenge for the North American Cruiserweight Championship. It is the title I came to Northern Pro to capture when I first appeared in last year’s Cruiserweight Cup. I hoped to secure my shot with this year’s tournament, but came up a little short.”
Blake Samuels: “That’s right. You swept your bracket en route to a semi-final win over Adrien Cochrane before losing in the Finals to Eron Hunter. Lord Dominicus failed to make it out of the block portion of the tournament, how does that affect your mindset going into this match?”
Jay Stevens: “Thank you for mentioning that. I won four straight matches before the Finals and Lord Dominicus came in what, fifth? But somehow he’s held onto the belt.”
Blake Samuels: “Are you implying that Lord Dominicus is avoiding facing you?”
Jay Stevens: “Absolutely. Look at the facts. I’m next in line, suddenly he finds himself defending the Double Crown. I entered the Openweight tournament, he finally decided to defend the Cruiserweight Championship, and against the only Northern Pro roster member who finished beneath him in the Cruiserweight Cup, no less. It’s only now, because he’s forced, will he step in the ring with me.”
Blake Samuels: “Why do you think that is?”
Jay Stevens: “I think the root of it is vanity. He’s not afraid to wrestle me, he’s afraid to lose to me, which he knows is definite. He’s a talented competitor, make no mistake, but he knows I’m not going to come to the circus and laugh at the sideshow. I’m the lion tearing him to shreds and turning the ‘heroic villain’ into the sad clown.”
Blake Samuels: “And what is next if you win?”
Jay Stevens: “When I win, I will actually defend the Cruiserweight Championship. I will be the fighting champion that Northern Pro Wrestling deserves and… *kzzt*... will take… *crackle*... pro wrestling to a whole new… *bzzzz*”
Blake Samuels: “Jay, you’re breaking up. Can you repeat that?”
Jay Stevens: “I said… *crackle*... take… *bzzzz*... whole new level…”
[Suddenly Jay’s screen is squeezed thin as another screen enters the fray; this one featuring the NPW North American Cruiserweight Champion himself (oh and also Double Crown champion but who’s counting? {he is, btw}) Lord Dominicus]
LD: “WHAT IS THIS!?”
[He grunts and pushes the side of his screen which….actually seems to work because Stevens is clipped off and LD has now taken his entire half of the split screen.]
LD: “So Mr. Samuels, you thought that you could interview the challenger without giving the champion some time to speak, HMMMM!?”
Blake Samuels: “No….you definitely knew about this and also that you were ne-”
LD: “SO?! You want to know how the Triple Crown Champion, the DARK LORD of NPW is preparing for such a match?”
Blake Samuels: “Sure?”
LD: “I will tell you right now that I’m taking Jay Stevens very seriously. Much like myself and the rest of Northern Pro Wrestling’s magnificent cruiserweight division, Jay keeps himself in shape. He works hard because he has lofty goals! Goals that involve gold! My gold!”
[Dominicus holds up the NPW NA Cruiserweight Championship]
LD: “As the champion, it is my duty to give the best and the brightest in the company a chance to shine against me. I strive to set an example by graciously allowing others to come for my championships the same way I came for this title way back when. Stevens, like it or not, has earned his respect and he’s earned his chance. He’s been here and he’s been grinding his way to this opportunity. So fear not NPW faithful, when you see Lord Dominicus take on Jay Stevens, you’ll be getting your money’s worth!”
[Slowly he brings the title down.]
LD: “That said, if my preparations have been complete, I suspect we’ll see a similar end as when I took on Niko recently!”
Blake Samuels: “You mean a run-in attack and a draw?”
LD: “Wait- uh- grrr- YOU WILL NOT SPEAK OF THAT! No you fool! You’ll see me walking out of the ringside area STILL your DARK LORD, STILL your NPW North American Cruiserweight Champion, STILL your NPW North American Double Crown Champion, and STILL the MOST DEFENDING EVIL HEROIC VILLAIN OF ALL TIME!”
[We watch as Jay Steven's video has faded away completely. The reigning champion has said his piece, and appears ready for the battle. Blake Samuels takes centre stage once again.]
Blake Samuels: "You can sense the tension between these two. Both men believe they are the very best at what they do. On June 8th, two of the biggest stars on the XHF Network are set to clash in a huge main event. Two men will walk to the ring with a legion of fans supporting them. One man will walk away as the winner and the North American Cruiserweight Champion."
[The smile on Blake's face couldn't be bigger.]
Blake Samuels: "More matches for this historic event will be announced after the May 25th event, which is set to make history in its own right. Now, let's get to tonight's action on the 2nd edition of Honor!"
[Cut.]
Singles Match
10 Minute Time Limit
Julius Fristik vs. Malek Fredericks
Right from the start Julius was hit from behind coming down to the ring by Malek Fredericks. Not taking kindly to the words Julius Fristik had said about him in a recent promo on the internet, Malek appeared to have taken it personally. He whipped the young buck into the steel steps and caused him to bang his knee up before the bell ever rang. Rolling him in the ring, Malek rushed the referee to ring the bell; but the referee did his job, making sure Julius was okay to wrestle and to his feet before signaling.
The match would be mostly in Malek’s favor from the get-go, focusing on the injured knee and capitalizing with leg twists and leg stomps before wrapping on a figure four that Malek had hoped to end the match early with. Julius was a spring chicken in the ring, but his wrestling training paid off as he used the ring awareness his father drilled into him, and got to the ropes to break the hold.
Malek would attempt a catapult into the corner, but Julius landed firmly on the second ropes and delivered a moonsault to change the tide of momentum. Working Malek’s head, Julius kept him in a headlock and grounded. Arm bar control led both men to their feet before Julius was able to scoop slam Malek and drop a nasty elbow drop off the second rope. Malek would kick out of a slow two count.
Julius went for the Pegasus Kick but Malek drop kicked him in mid-air as he turned from the springboard kick! Malek would follow up with a snap german suplex, but held on to deliver a second! The fans were loud and appreciative of the two men taking this match to nearly the time limit. Malek would hook Julius in a pump handle slam, lifting him up to crash into the canvas, but Julius struggled free and slid over his shoulder, and hit the Calgary Shot!
That was all they wrote, as Julius squeaked by with the win in a hard fought match on NPW Honor #2. Malek would be seen shaking his head and telling the referee he had his shoulder up, as Julius walked up the aisle towards the curtain. Fans cheering on the young prospect, and Julius throwing a wave up before disappearing to the back.
Debut Match
10 Minute Time Limit
Esmeralda von Krauss vs. June Harding
The newcomer Esmeralda von Krauss was making her debut in Northern Pro Wrestling. Her brash no non-sense look and attitude showed she would not be intimidated by the local talent. June Harding however felt at home, and ready for her big break.
Coming from the rich wrestling history of being the wife of Armand von Krauss, Esmerelda showed the strength of her husband as she scoop slammed June around the ring just to show her superiority. The match started with this amazing display of strength, and quickly went the way of the Esmerelda show.
Running control early on, Krauss worked on June’s upper body, seeking to do as much damage as possible. Relishing in the pain she inflicted with every hold she applied, but also the authority she would do it with. June looked like a fish out of water, and rightfully so, she had never faced someone with the strength or experience of Esmeralda.
June would find a fighting chance when Esmeralda went for an irish whip and flapjacked her into the air; June used the force of gravity to her advantage and reversed into a hurricarana sending Esmeralda to the second rope! Coming back with a running knee, June took the new comer’s chest to the rope once more, and caused her to roll back into the ring. Lifting Krauss up, June went for a piledriver, but Esmeralda wouldn’t allow for it, and instead locked on a Nikajo wrist lock.
Regaining control, Krauss fought with the fierceness of a bear, showing her opponent she was the one in charge. Krauss dominated June with strikes and uppercuts, showing the mean streak the Krauss name was known for. It was a mistake on June’s part to pull her hair, and as she did, Justice was served! Esmeralda laid her opponent out and covered her for the pin, elbow in her face as she did so.
The hand raised, Esmeralda von Krauss took home a debut victory, and showed all of the Northern Pro audience she was ready to take on the women of Canada. Would this lead to an interaction with NPW’s most dominant female star, Isabel Rios? One could say the dominance tonight was a testament to the influence of that match being set up by Gus Arnold.

Donzig vs. Gordon Carlson
Donzig hit the ring, set to take on Gordon Carlson and was completely unaware that due to the Spike Piledriver from The Celtic Club, Gordon was forced to sit on the sidelines for at least 3-4 weeks. When the referee informed Donzig that his services weren't required, Donzig hissed and took a ringside mic to gloat about his debut victory alongside of Freakke where they were able to secure a victory over the former Imperial Crown Tag Team Champions; The Dark Stars. Donzig continued to mock the Dark Stars, poking fun at who they are, and what they represent.
Donzig then shifted his attention to the upcoming Tag Team Battle Royal, and seemed overtly confident about the fact that he and his partner Freakke were under the radar, and that would be how they could sneak up on the competition and have a chance to be fighting for the championship when all was said and done.
The crowd began to stir, but Donzig was completely oblivious to why.
WHAM!
From behind, Niko and Kono had hopped the guard rail and blamed Donzig with stereo dropkicks that sent their rival flying forward before hitting the mat face first with authority. The fans were intrigued by this impromptu brawl that was starting to unfold before their eyes, but they weren't exactly sure if they should be cheering or booing either side. What they did know was that Donzig might've pushed the limit a little bit in regards to his comments about The Dark Stars, and gloating about his win was surely something that they weren't going to allow to stand.
Niko and Kono picked Donzig up and drove him into the mat with a double powerbomb effort. Donzig's head snapped backwards, and hit the mat hard. The Dark Stars went to opposing top ropes and Niko came off with a flying elbow, while Kono pumped in mid air and hit Donzig with a frog splash!
NPW Officials made their way out from the back to put a stop to this blindside attack. By the time they hit the ring, the former Imperial Crown Tag Team Champions were content with the damage they had done, and exited through the crowd without detection. A medic took a look at Donzig who was starting to come to, and looked ready to continue the fight - which showed immense toughness and heart to match it. The medics had to calm Donzig down, as he still felt like he was in the middle of a battle, which could signal that he might've lost consciousness for a few moments there without realizing it.
Donzig eventually calmed down, and pushed the medics and NPW personnel aside. He said he was 'alright on his own' and he walked back up the ramp to a smattering of applause from the NPW Faithful inside the arena.
Main Event
“Timeless Try Out”
Alex “Timeless” Turner vs. Ricky "The Tauros" Riktor
No introduction or music, Ricky ‘The Tauros’ Riktor stood in the ring, looking like a bull in a china shop. The lumbering shoulders of the man had muscles on muscles, but his legs were narrow, and the singlet appeared to be from his former wrestling days in college.
Alex Turner and Roxylishus came out to a roaring crowd, as the NPW star was beginning to turn heads with his newfound partner Primal. However tonight, he would be giving the young Riktor his chance at fame, the 15 minutes that everyone dreams of. Entering the ring in his normal Timeless manner, microphone in hand, singing his song lyrics, Roxy behind him to back him up with her line, the two enter the ring, and Timeless nods at the young man with a grin on his face. Roxy kissed Timeless on the cheap and took to the ringside area.
Right from the get go, Riktor rushed in for a grapple and Timeless hip tossed him out of his boots. The fans lit up with a boo for the move, hoping to see some strength test from Riktor who looked carved from granite and fed all the protein of the western hemisphere.
Alex teased and taunted the star, showing him he was going to toy with him. Riktor went for a waist lock and Alex hip tossed again! A running clothesline and hip toss! Riktor was getting frustrated and rushed Timeless who moved out of the way and tripped him, causing Riktor to roll under the bottom rope and to the outside. Alex looked at the referee and shrugged, realizing he should go get him, and rolled out the opposite side, walking around the ring.
Riktor would surprise clothesline Timeless at the turnbuckle post! Timeless was shook up, and Riktor took control by shoving him into the side of the ring apron, before rolling Alex into the ring. Timeless got to his knees, waiting as Riktor climbed the apron, and as he did, hip toss over the ropes into the ring!
Judo teachers all over the world would be ringing after the display of coordination and effort by Timeless to hip toss his opponent in the Timeless Try Out. Riktor was feeling the effects of the high angled hip toss, but wasn’t done yet. He tried to go for strikes, landing a few punches before getting hip tossed once more, this time into the turnbuckle! Timeless would lean on the ropes and ask Roxylishus to wipe his forehead, and she obliged, showing the pageantry of the night with her dabbing at his forehead.
Winking, Timeless nodded and Roxy went back to the floor as the referee warned her not to do it again. Riktor climbed to his feet, hoping to catch Timeless off guard he approached from behind and wrapped him up in a full nelson! Timeless squirmed, the try out may have just back fired with the display of cockiness! Riktor went to the middle of the ring with the hold, and Timeless freed an arm just in time, delivering a hard hip toss that shook the ring! Riktor rolled to the apron, and stood on the outside to regain his breath. Timeless went after him, looking to finish this one off.
The two went around the outside of the ring trading blows, before the referee started to count them out, getting to 7 before Roxy jumped on the apron and yelled at the referee. He warned her to leave, and after multiple chances, he told her to leave! Roxy wasn’t having it though, and she stepped in the ring and hip tosses the referee!
Fans ooooooh at the disrespect, and as the referee got back up he ejected her from the match! Timeless is not aware of this, as Riktor military presses him on the barricade on the far right side of the ringside area. Roxy smiles and sucks on her lollipop, waving bye to the referee who holds his hip, and he yells back at Timeless and Riktor to get in the ring or be counted out! Riktor rolls Timeless in and climbs the top rope. The bull of a man looking out of sorts there, stumbles and sits down on the top turnbuckle. Coming to find his balance, Riktor stands up again, legs wobbly and HIP TOSS OFF THE TOP ROPE! Timeless darted up the turnbuckle and with the quickness whipped the big man off the turnbuckle and crashing down on his back hard! A fast cover as the two men landed, and Timeless hooks both legs leaning all his weight into the chest to get the three count!
Celebrating to the tune of his music, Alex “Timeless” Turner looks around for Roxylishus, who the referee tells him has been ejected. For that, he shrugs and hip tosses the referee for good measure, before exiting the ring. The Timeless Try Out had proven a success, just not for the newcomer Riktor. Tonight, Timeless schooled him on the basics of wrestling, and with little more than a move or two, showed the wrestling world how dangerous he was with just one move.
