An unusual start to an unusual team, as Freakke and Donzig rush the ring and attack Lance Romance and Malek Fredericks with punches before the bell can be sound. Their was no wasting time as Donzig whipped Lance across the ring into the ropes, and Freakke clotheslined Malek over the top rope on the other side. Lance gets a spinebuster by Donzig and punched some more.
The unlikely duo of Freakke and Donzig show their willingness to play hard ball, with quick tags and double team maneuvers in the corner, they isolate Lance Romance and keep him from making a tag. Donzig nails a high angle back drop before locking on a Pennsylvania Cloverleaf and tags in Freakke. Taking the high rope, Freakke flies off and nails Lance with a phoenix splash!
Freakke rolls Lance around the ring with a series of suplexes before teasing a tag and nailing a tornado DDT off the second rope where Donzig tags himself back in. Malek breaks up a pin and tries to bring Lance towards his corner, but Freakke catapults himself off the turnbuckle and dropkicks Malek on the apron! Donzig takes advantage of the lack of the partner and hits the 25:17 for the pinfall!
Announcer: Winners by pin fall, Donzig and Freakke! (7:02)
The scene comes into view of a nice looking home and a man sitting in a chair at his table holding a white piece of paper.
Man: Hello, North Pro Wrestling fans my name is Tony Rios and I have just signed a contract to compete here. Now you may not know me, but I have wrestled for quite awhile and I plan on bringing my talent to hopefully find the ultimate competition here in NPW. That is what I look for is the competition to beat them and become the best here in the entire NPW.
Tony grabs a bottle of water from the table and takes a drink before continuing.
Tony Rios: You all will see me very soon and I plan to make an impact and to face the ultimate competition and to defeat them all to become the best! That is my ultimate goal.
Tony stands up from the table and walks away as the scene fades to black.
Backstage, a black backdrop is framed in gold with the logo for NPW: Honor large and prominent while smaller graphics for the XHF and NPW co-promoted Shockwave event are run across in a diagonal pattern.
Blake Samuels stands center screen with a genuine and bright smile plastered across his face. Legitimately loving his job, he jumps right into his opening.
”Thank you Northern Pro Wrestling fans, Blake Samuels here backstage at Honor! I have a huge treat for our fans tonight, with me now is number one contender to the NPW Openweight Championship…’The Awesome One’ himself…Steve Awesome!” Panning back, the camera reveals Steve stepping in from camera left.
”Welcome Steve, thanks for your time. I just want to start by congratulating you on your win and becoming the challenger to ’D’s’ Openweight Championship.” Sincere, Blake beams looking from Steve back to the camera. Steve is wearing his trademark sunglasses and his brand new “Two Time CTA Winner” t-shirt.
”THANK YOU VERY MUCH!” The Awesome One shouts with excitement and he puffs out his chest and points to the words on his t-shirt. ”That’s not all I’ve won. I’m now the first ever and only TWO TIME, TWO TIME Call to Arms winner. No one had ever done that in the entire history of the XHF you know? Until me! That means I’m going to Overheated BAYBEEEE!”
He cocks his back and forth waving that cocky smirk in your face. ”And to answer your question, it’s feels pretty damn good. It feels good to know that on my first night in the company I was the better man than three top contenders. And at the Call to Arms tournament, I was better than ten...Ha Ha Ha!!” Laughing it off, Steve is the picture of confidence.
Giving it his best shot, Blake goes right toward the heart of the reason for the interview, ”You’re on a roll as we head into the home stretch towards August on the Atlantic and your championship match, you’ve got to be feeling confident. What can the NPW fans expect from Steve Awesome come August on the Atlantic?!”
Steve’s smile is plastered to his face, ’The Awesome One’ looks ready even his voice carries the weight of confidence. ”I feel really good Blake. I feel nice and confident, that is for Damn sure. I feel like at August at the Atlantic, you are going to see what I’ve been talking about all along when I say Face of the Franchise stuff. As good as D is, he’s been a nice little first or second champion. He’s propped up the belt for everyone to see like he should. But I got the spooky voodoo boys number. He’s got ten years of experience? Well so do I! At August at the Atlantic, You are going to see me raise that Openweight Championship right alongside the XCrown Championship.” Pausing just a moment, in a change of pace, he has a question for Blake. ”Hey Blake….after I’m done with “D”, can you guess what letter he’s going to have to change his name into?”
Blake sighs. “Uh….L?”
Steve shakes his head and turns to look into the hard camera. ”Nope. After I’m done with D he is gonna have to change his name into SUCK IT! Ha ha haaaa!”
Steve does the crotch chop and laughs at his own joke. Blake shakes his head and gives him an indignant stare. “Yeah but you asked me for a letter.”
Past caring about the technical aspects of his joke, Steve feigns sincerity and confusion as he responds, ”What? Look, I was lying about the letter.”
Blake is confused just a moment as Steve’s gaze hardens off camera heralding the arrival of a second ’guest’.
Walking in from camera right is none other than the very man Steve was just referring to, NPW Openweight Champion, ’D’. Draped in black, the red accents of his ring gear pop, highlighting the skeletal pattern of his sleeveless shirt. The NPW Openweight Championship is around his waist.
”Going after the name, I’m disappointed Steven. I expected better. Look, I like your confidence, your bravado. I want you at your very best you see, because then and only then does defeating you mean its most.” Catching the Awesome one admiring his championship, the enigma adds. ”But there’s time for that later. For now, we need to talk…” Staring down Blake Samuels, the NPW interviewer physically flinches under the gaze of the anonymous Bankhead Boogeyman before he finishes. ”…privately.”
Steve crosses his arms and smirks at the champion. “Oh is that so?” Well I‘ll tell you what, anything you got to say to me, you can say in front of my friends.”
Blake smiles warmly until he realizes Steve Awesome was glaring at him. “So get to steppin, Corn Flake.”
Blake mutters under his breath and begrudgingly walks away leaving the champion and the challenger alone in the hallway. They glare at one another for a few moments before Steve breaks the tension by lifting his watch to his face. “You got thirty seconds to wow me or I’m going to walk away…”
Steve starts spinning his hand around to signify to D that he should hurry up and spit out what he had to say.
Allowing himself a short sly smile, he starts by looking his future opponent in the eye. ”I won’t need that long even. Three words; Esmeralda Von Krauss.” Noticing a slight shift in the posture of Steve at the mention of Mrs. Von Krauss, ’D’ nods. ”Yes Steve, I know exactly how you feel. Now that I have your attention, come with me and let me explain to you exactly how far this woman will go to ’get what she wants’.”
Walking off, ’D’ is careful to speak softly so the cameras cannot overhear the conversation, Steve is seen nodding as they disappear around a corner while Blake Samuels sneaks back into the scene. ”Well folks it looks like champion and challenger have a link in one Esmeralda Von Krauss. How will the KGB femme fatal react to this apparent interference from the NPW Openweight Champion? We’ll keep following this story but for now we’l head back to ringside and our second match of the evening…mixed tag action when Kristy McKinney and Julius Fristik take on the pairing of Himmell and Manchester!”
Kirsty and Julius were tagging for the first time. Himmill and Manchester had experience, but none in Northern Pro. The bout this evening started with Julius and Manchester in a tie-up that lead to an exchange of technical holds to pin Manchester to the canvas. Julius worked the arm and back, before tagging in Kirsty.
Due to the rules, Himmell would be forced into the ring when the tag occurred, and Julius would return to his corner as did Manchester. Kirsty shot a single leg takedown, and made quick work of Himmell, putting her on the canvas where Kirsty McKinney had her way with her wrestling background. Amatuer moves, but in a professional setting, and all effective as she crossbarred her opponent, and locked on a crossface!
Manchester would break the hold by grabbing his partner's boot and dragging her back to the corner, causing the referee to be distracted as Julius came in to defend. Manchester tags himself in, forcing Kirsty out and Julius back in. Manchester gets a tilt-a-whirl on Julius before sidewalk slamming him. The next spot is a top rope superplex, but Julius reverses, and cross-bodies Manchester, going for the pin but only getting two.
Julius tags in Kirsty and she ducks a clothesline from Himmell, then executes a half nelson bulldog on Himmell! The two count tells Kirsty McKinney she has more work to do. Kirsty plays her amatuer background strengths, double leg takedown, and then a flip over and grapevines her opponent. Himmell cannot break free, but rolls over for a two count! Kirsty shoots her shoulder off the canvas to save the pin, and breaks the lock, before getting to her base. Power Half Stack! Fans are on the edge of their feet at the impact! The referee counts the pinfall and gets the three as Julius stops Manchester from breaking up the count.
Announcer: Winner by pinfall, Kirsty McKinney and Julius Fristik! (12:49)
Julius raises Kirsty’s arm and gives her the wave, to show respect for the finish she provided. While Manchester carries Himmell back to the back. Kirsty and Julius follow suit shortly after, as the audience gives an applause for the performance of the two young athletes.
Backstage at Honor, we see Kirsty McKinney walk through and take a turn to the women’s locker room. Meanwhile, Blake Samuels steps in and stops Julius Fristik as he goes to grab water and dump it over his head.
Blake Samuels: Great effort tonight and congratulations on your first tag win Julius! How are you feeling about the match?
Julius Fristik: I can’t take the credit, Kirsty McKinney is the REAL DEAL and I mean that -- hat off to her for putting on a clinic that these fans enjoyed tonight. I was merely seasoning to the dish that she brought, so I’m proud to have shared the ring with her.
Blake Samuels: Everyone in the Northern Pro locker room knows you are the son of Jesse Jamester, but they don’t know much about you. What can you tell the audience and your peers about you, that will give them a glimpse into your motivations to be here in NPW?
Wiping his face off with a towel that a trainer hands him, Julius cocks his neck to the side, obviously stretching it but also thinking about the question.
Julius Fristik: I’m not my father. I’m a California raised boy, who loves hip-hop, rock N roll, and rap music, and my favorite color is orange. (laughs) No but seriously Blake, I’m not my father, but I do have his blood, so I think it shows in my body of work how passionate I am about this business. I have the pleasure of learning from one of the best, and in my mind, he is just that, the best. The way I see it is, I’m going to make a name for myself, not as Jesse Jamester JR or some Nightmare-lite version, but instead as Julius, the Pegasus Warrior, and that journey is already taking place---
From out of nowhere we see Spike Kane cross check Julius Fristik with a steel chair like it was a baseball bat! Julius' head causes the chair to dent on impact, and the young athlete is gashed open above the eye. Spike grabs him by the neck as Blake Samuels runs to find help.
Leading Julius out through the curtain and onto the stage, Spike Kane takes the chair again and jabs it into his gut, before placing it under his throat. He points out to the cameraman focusing in on the action as the fans ‘Boo’ the whole situation, knowing damn well what this man is capable of.
Spike drives Julius’s neck into the chair as he slams it down vertically on the stage, causing the young man to jolt backwards onto his back and stare up at the rafters. Spike mouths something, before the camera man and the audio technician come closer. Reaching down, he wipes his hand on the forehead and then smears the blood of Julius across his chest.
Spike Kane: The time for Hell’s favorite Asshole to take what is rightfully his is drawing near, and any threats to that need to be dealt with! Here's your war Jesse Jamester! Come bring your ass to GUNN’s XHF Birthday Bash and face me so we can settle this once and for all! If you don’t, the next time you see your son, he’ll be eating through a feeding tube…. At best.
Spike kicks Julius upside the head once more before the camera focuses on him from the waist up, showing the bloody hand mark he dragged from his shoulder to his stomach. The camera pans out just as KUMA comes out from behind the curtain, and we see Spike disappear out of sight on the left side of the stage and down through an entrance way for vehicles. Then the medics come out and put Julius on a gurney, neck brace and all as he lays motionless. Fans sit in silence, as the medics take him through the curtain to the backstage area.
Next up was the Timeless Tryout. Alex ‘Timeless’ Turner was hot off his XHF: Call to Arms match with fellow team members Lord Dominicus, Jesse Jamester, John Cavanaugh, and his partner and the other half of the reigning Imperial Crown Tag Team Champions, Primal. While Team NPW had not come out of the battle with the victory, they proved to be one the 3 finalist. Timeless and Primal, better known as Prime Time, were on a much needed break from tag team competition, following the Eastern State Penitentry, it would be hard to tell what shape any of the five men were in.
Alex Turner stood, with the Imperial Crown title over his shoulder, glistening under the lights. Outside the ring with Roxylicious, dressed to steal your heart. Reaching through the ropes, Timeless hands her the championship, as his opponent for this evening, Paul Jacobs Logan was walking down to the ring to no music. Timeless had shown his expertise in two showings at Honor by defeating opponents with a single move. Local talent had signed up for the opportunity to face Timeless, and should they win the bout, they would receive a contract with Northern Pro Wrestling in a developmental deal.
Alex “Timeless” Turner played cat and mouse with PJL in the opening of the match. Baiting him for a show of strength only to walk away and lean against the corner. Timeless closed his eyes and told PJL to hit him, and PJL swung, looking to get the first offense. Instead though, Timeless ducked and dropkicked the young star, showing him how it was done. PJL would get up and get a few strikes in, before irish whipping Timeless to the far turnbuckle where he jumped to the second rope and missile drop kicked PJL on the rebound! A two count was all he got for his troubles.
PJL finally got a big move off with a spinning wheel kick and caught Timeless off-guard. Locking on a boston crab, Timeless had to use the ropes to break the hold. PJL took to the air and launched himself from the top rope for a 450 splash, but Timeless moved, causing PJL to crash and burn on the canvas. A series of dropkicks instead of punches from Timeless would follow, before a diving dropkick from coast-to-coast from Timeless sealed the victory!
Announcer: Winner by way of pin fall, Alex “Timeless” Turner! (9:17)
Following the match, Timeless and Roxylicious posed in the ring as the camera got close and heard Timeless state “King of Drop Kicks my Ass!” in reference to someone he had a beef with. Showing that Alex Turner was a multi-layered onion of talent, the NPW audience had seen another layer revealed here tonight on Honor.
The ReVenants were out on a mission, with their loss at XHF Call to Arms in a hard fought battle with the winners, the Galactic Sex Pirates, Rob Garcia and Neo James Carner came to the ring looking for war. The ReVenants shaped up to be one of the top teams in the recent event, with their partner Donzig, they were one of the second rounders to make an impact and prove that the Northern Pro Wrestling locker room is stacked with opportunity and hungry talent.
Rob Garcia slid up on the apron, as Neo James Carner took the slide approach and got up on his feet quickly, wasting little time. No smirk on their faces tonight, the ReVenants were ready to fight. The Spin Cycle came busting down the ramp, like party animals full of energy, but would be cut off quickly on the stairs, as the ReVenants took advantage with a beatdown before the bell could ring.
Slamming Reggie Taylor into the barricade does NJC, as Rob Garcia takes on Jamal Williams on the ramp way, hitting him with a spinebuster style slam as he mounts him and throws fists at his face. While Classic rules were the stipulation tonight, the ReVenants had found a way around the rules. Jump’em before the match starts! NJC russian leg sweeps Reggie into the guardrail before rolling him closer to the steps. Setting up the opportunity, NJC picks Reggie up and irish whips him into the steel steps! Reggie’s knee hits like a baseball being hit for a grand slam, and Reggie rolls over the steel steps face over feet, landing splat on the otherside of the ring. NJC walks up the steps, onto the apron, and takes in the boos from the audience.
Rob Garcia on the other side, has Jamal up and is beating his forehead off the steel post. Jamal Williams reverses one finally and rolls Rob into the ring. Following suit, the men get up and the match is underway. NJC takes to his corner, looking down at the still motionless Reggie Taylor behind him. The ReVenants had turned this into a handicap match before it ever started.
Jamal rushed into a tieup with Garcia but he quickly arm dragged him over and locked on an armbar, before pulling Jamal to his feet. Garcia was not going to let Jamal go easily into the night, and hammered forearms down on his back before he irish whipped him to the corner. Jamal went up and over Garcia as he met the turnbuckle, high back body slam by Jamal, but Garcia reversed, landed on his feet and front flip dropkicks Jamal on the chin as he turns around! NJC grabs the rope and holds it up as he raises his hand for a tag. Garcia grabs Jamal and puts him in an abdominal stretch, before tagging his partner. NJC comes off the top rope with an elbow into the ribs of Jamal!
The ReVenants dissect their opponent, breaking his lungs down, and taking away his oxygen. As Reggie Taylor found his feet, Rob Garcia suicide flipped over the top rope onto him! NJC hit the Sympho-Knee, not once, but twice, to seal the deal and get the victory. The ReVenants had the win, but even so, were not satisfied. As the bell tolled, they threw the referee out of the ring and began beating on the Spin Cycle members some more. Blood was flowing as both men looked to be crimson twins, seeking any help they could get.
Taking Jamal Williams up the rampway, NJC and Garcia beat on his back with forearms and fists before they get to the top of the ramp. Reggie Taylor crawls at the bottom of the ramp, hardly able to stand. NJC points to something, and we see Rob Garcia take to the metal scaffolding on the side of the stage. Climbing it, Garcia gets up about 12 feet standing in front of the tron where the videos would display. Neo James Carner sets up the pile driver and Rob Garcia leaps, SPIKE PILDRIVER ON THE STAGE! Jamal Williams is left motionless.
[Mic in hand, the Great White Terror casually strolls out to examine the situation, needing to get something off his chest.]
Keith Williams: "I'm going to make this short and sweet, because there's already an abundance of blabbermouths in the XHF."
[Putting boots to The Spin Cycle, Rob Garcia and Neo James Carner continue to stomp their opponents after the match has concluded.]
Keith Williams: "Unlike our corgi loving eunuch of a Double Crown Champion, I'll reduce the goof to zero for this. Hi, LD!"
[Smiling, Williams waves at the camera as he walks down the rampway.]
Keith Williams: "The ReVenants don't care about your bonus points, your pats on the back, your meaningless compliments. We ride the lows and highs together without phony encouragement."
[Making his way up the steel stairs, Keith walks to the middle of the apron and enters the ring.]
Keith Williams: "Have we been too passive aggressive?"
[Grabbing hold of Reggie, Neo and Rob drag him in front of KW.]
Keith Williams: "Let me change that!"
[Both arms held behind him, Taylor is defenseless as he receives a Mueller face guard headbutt!]
Keith Williams: "Did we break the fourth wall and mess up your enjoyment?"
[Again, the Great White Terror bashes his protected visage directly into the face of Reggie Taylor.]
Keith Williams: "Too bad!"
[Letting go of The Spin Cycle member, The ReVenants watch as the bloodied young man slumps face first on the mat.]
Keith Williams: "Are your feelings hurt?"
[Facing the hard camera, Keith frowns.]
Keith Williams: "Whoopsie!"
[Pouting now, none of what KW does or says seems authentic.]
Keith Williams: "I hope this isn't a bad look for me! Is this how you get over in the XHF?"
[Crazily gazing, the Great White Terror manically rubs the drawn in mustache on his mask.]
Keith Williams: "What was my favorite part? Getting more of a reaction out of the XHF Network with what little words I used compared to the indifference that's felt every time someone else moves a mountain of terms to never get to the point."
[Moving his hand away from the mask, Williams continuously runs it through his hair.]
Keith Williams: "You're all wrapped around my finger and you don't even know it."
[Spinning the same strands over his finger, the Great White Terror solemnly stands there as his ReVenant cohorts look down on The Spin Cycle.]

‘Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!’
Timeless Tryout Match
15 Minute Time Limit
“Timeless “ Alex Turner vs. Paul Jacobs Logan (PJL)

Rob Garcia & Neo James Carner vs. The Spin Cycle (Jamal Williams & Reggie Taylor
‘Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!’
