The raindrops systematically knocked on the small window. He sat near the window, looking outside, shaking his head to the rhythm of the music he felt coming from those drops of water knocking on that small window. He felt at ease, It was a normal September day, stink normal as any other given day of this autumn which appeared to be filled with overflowing emotions.
The last fight, against the Revenants, didn´t go so well. Keith Williams managed to get a pinfall victory against him in that tag team match. His vengeance had come to a stop. But it wasn´t over, no, it was far from it, to be honest. The upcoming match had all he needed to get his revenge on that man. The upcoming triple threat match was an NPW Double Crown Championship match, and Keith Williams had all intentions of becoming an NPW World Champion. That he had stated on more than one occasion.
It was the perfect opportunity for Eron Hunter to exercise his revenge and become the best fighter in the world at the same time. What else could a fighter and a man out for vengeance want? Nothing more than that. There was a slight problem with Lord Dominicus being the man holding the belt. Eron had teamed up with the champ on more than one occasion, there was respect between them, but Dominicus should also understand that being the champion meant that everyone in the company would come up and gun for him and his title.
Eron Hunter was no different.
He was a fighter, a wrestler, after all.
And all and everything a great wrestler wants is to become recognized as the best of them all.
Lord Dominicus should not be surprised by the fact that at a given moment in time, Eron Hunter would be set at the opposite corner, ready to fight for that Championship Belt. There would not be a need for surprise, although Lord Dominicus could think that since the two were almost tag team partners, Eron could negate the chance to gun for that title.
There was something in that thought that was strange for Eron though. If someone knew his life story, that someone would understand that Eron Hunter could do everything but negate his chance to be a world champion. The man left his family and his town at the tender age of sixteen, after all, only to undertake a journey around the world, with the sole goal of becoming the best fighter ever. What would be his sacrifices worth, if he didn´t act coherently with his aspirations?
Nothing.
Thus Lord Dominicus should understand that there are things a man can do and there are other things a man MUST do. One of those things was the fight for the Top Title in the NPW. Eron had to fight for that belt, cost what it may. And what a better chance to fight for two goals at once.
Win that championship belt and destroy Keith William’s aspirations to become the top dog in the company.
Vendetta had never tasted so good.
They said love had its limits, but hate did not.
Did Eron Hunter hate Keith Williams?
…The answer was no!
He surely despised him with all his might, for that man incorporated all that was wrong with a man, as far as Eron was concerned. He was narcissistic and weak-willed, he lied cheated, and stole everything he could, whenever he could. Eron Hunter thought that a man without honor and dignity was not a man worthy of this name, and Keith Williams had no honor, surely he also didn´t know or care about dignity.
He detested Williams
But hate him? No.
Because Hate in itself involved Respect!
And Eron Hunter felt anything but respect for the man called Keith Williams.
The rain kept falling and falling, systematically knocking on the small window, near which Eron sat, almost musical, melancholic, and romantic. There was a pinch of melancholy in Hunter´s eyes. He knew what he missed but he also knew he had sacrificed what he missed, for his dreams to be achieved. And now was the time to achieve those dreams.
Become the best in the world.

It was September, the time of the year in which leaves begin to fall. That time in which old begins to wither and die, just so that new can be born again. Eron Hunter was a fighter and a wrestler, but he was a human being before all other things, which meant he had dreams to follow and emotions to feel. A September rainy day, how about a walk in the rain? He would surely get his feet wet, but he was not made of sugar and was not going to melt away.
Taking his rain overcoat from the coat-hanger and slowly walking out was what he did.
It was a September rainy day but he did not fear cold or water, his heart was strong and his dreams mighty. A bit of wind and dampness would not wash and throw his dreams away; his will was stronger than that. His might had its roots in his faith; his faith was greater than anything thrown in front of him. He would fight until he passed out and had no more oxygen in his lungs.
This was the chance of his life.
Something he had dreamt of since he was a kid.
Becoming the best…
…Ten years of sacrifices would finally pay off.
Eron the Hunter the Lynx
Finally World Champion…
…What a Dream!
