Hello and welcome to Continental Wrestling Alliance!
As you are making yourself familiar and we are getting everything setup here, we would like you to read the following and agree to the terms of using these boards.
Continental Wrestling Alliance (CWA) is a community of efeds that was formed in August 2021. Collectively the CWA Staff has over 80+ years of efed experience. In no way does that make us perfect, but we would like to believe we have a good idea how to run a community and efeds and hope that while here you enjoy the hobby we all love! The Continental Wrestling Alliance (CWA) is a national and regional expansion of wrestling companies (efeds). Yes, much like the way wrestling use to have territories, CWA is based on the continents of the world and the companies that run within those continents. As we grow, we will flesh out these regions of the community and unravel global events. That is all to come... for now, we are a small collection of a few efeds, all working together towards a collective global showcase of roleplays. Consider CWA it's own universe, and anyone in our bubble, has awareness of the other.
Here are some general rules we would like everyone to follow. At any time we reserve the right to update the guidelines and rules as we see fit, and will announce when we do.
1. Treat everyone with respect. This is a hobby and you are joining a community to partake in the hobby. We expect you to treat people with respect like they were a parental figure or a colleague at a job. Know the saying “Treat others the way you want to be treated,” well that’s what we expect of members here in CWA.
2. No Hate will be Tolerated. Our goal is for everyone to partake and get along. We believe you are all adults capable of being adults, tolerating people you may not see eye to eye with, and remaining quiet if you have nothing constructive to contribute to a post/conversation. If you believe someone is blatantly being disrespectful, racist, hateful of religion, sex, origin, culture, skin color, or anything under the sun that could be considered breaking Rule #1, please bring it to a CWA Staff member and they will approach the other CWA Staff members to discuss. We ask you keep this to direct messages, and not post and escalate the issue on the boards. Any violators will get 1 warning (depending on the severity) and then be banned upon their 2nd offense. There is NO exceptions to this.
3. Do Not Commit Plagiarism. We are partaking in a wrestling roleplaying hobby, and in doing so, we expect you're material to be authentically you. Anyone caught in the act of plagiarism will be banned. No exceptions.
4. Joining a Fed/Being a Member. We ask all of our members to be involved in a minimum of one (1) Efed in the community. You may be in more than one as multiple characters. You also may do a 'Tour' with your character and submit a Bio/Application on another Efed's roster with a timeline for the tour. We will provide a 'Touring Application Form' in the main Information Hub (soon).
5. Fed's Looking To Join. Joining CWA requires approval of all CWA Staff members. We will accept applications, review your submission, and upon deciding if your fed is a fit, will layout our expectations of your roster joining the community, your participation in future global events, and ask that you take responsibility of running your forums/boards once we have set them up. Due to our ultimate goal of creating a universe, we reserve the right to refuse any application should they not fit our overall story.
6. Out of Character No-Nos. Do not post your in-character roleplays targeting people you may have a problem with Out of Character (OOC) and act edgy. We do not care for drama, we will not tolerate it, and it's not fun to have to moderate adults. Ultimately this should be common sense. If you are having a bad day, want to get something off your chest, or upset about results or something that happened in-character to your character, please reach out to your Staff member or a CWA Staff member. We will do our best to listen and understand your frustration, but we are also human and may not be around at all times. When we are not around, we encourage you to take a break for the day -- GET OFF THE INTERNET! Go do something outside. Go cook some food. Do something other than let what is bothering you fester and then unleash a post you cannot take back. Please, for the love of all that is eWrestling, do not make this harder than it needs to be. It comes back to Rule #1, respect everyone.
7. Not Safe For Work Content is NOT ALLOWED. That is anything sexual, explicit, adult content, images, fantasy smut (yes, it exists), or else wise - we are firmly in the realm of thought that this has NO place here in our hobby and will not tolerate it. If you post it, you may be banned first and asked questions second. That is our stance, do not test us on what we will allow. As with everything else, one warning, and upon a 2nd violation you will be banned.
8. Original Only. CWA will only accept original wrestlers. We expect that in each and every one of our Feds. No copying WWE, AEW, IMPACT, Ring of Honor, NJPW, or any other wrestling company character or copyrighted or trademarked names. Anyone breaking this rule will be asked to change their character/fed/or whatever is being used that breaks this rule.
9. Enjoy eWrestling like you just started. With any new place, things change, people come and go, and we expect to see a lot of people arrive and want to see what CWA is all about. We ask you to take it as serious as you want, but remember that at the end of the day, this is a game, a hobby, and is meant for fun. We use eWrestling as an escape from real life. Its a release for writers and wrestling fans to get together and collaborate to create characters, tell stories, partake in a sport we all love, and be free to carve our own journey in this digital space. Have fun, it's why we do this.
