(Niko is walking through a corridor in their toxic waste headquarters passing various individuals who are walking back and forth through the corridor. He has his usual look of concentration on his face as he reaches the area where The Dark Stars pet Corgi is waiting in anticipation. He stops in front of the Corgi which barks in anticipation in being let out for a run.)
Niko: "You know Timeless Alex Turner there are those who think they know everything and those who don't know anything. You fit into the don't know anything category.
You see Timeless we didn't believe any of that being you were just trying to lead people on thinking you hated each other. Yet we suspected that little stunt being we're not the other tag teams who are too dumb to know a team breaking up if they actually saw it."
(The Corgi barks.)
Niko: "Even Dominicus here could tell you were pulling something over on the NPW ringsiders and roster. Now before I continue I know you're going to wonder why we called him Dominicus. Well it's because he gave us this Corgi last year and we decided to name him after Lord Dominicus out of respect for him."
(Niko swipes at a panel and Dominicus comes out and he rubs the Corgi's ears despite the dog's gigantic size.)
Niko: "Now I do agree with you about Lord Dominicus's leaving the NPW to return to the XHF to continue his commitments. Still he should have stayed and faced all comers including you Timeless but he made his choice and he must live with it for the rest of his career. Now Lynx can carry Lord Dominicus's burden and build a better legacy than Dominicus's. You can also concentrate on other things like your matches and not calling out wrestlers who aren't around any more like Dane and Steele and Lord Dominicus."
(He puts on his heavy duty leash and Dominicus breaks into a run with Niko matching him stride for stride. They leave the compound and he leaps onto the Corgi's back and rides on the dog's back and pulls on the leash stopping the Corgi.)
Niko: "Now you thought we were calling you out by insulting you and you thought you turned the tide and beat us up. Well we got up and yeah you turned the tide but you didn't see us smiling did you Timeless. You see everyone was thinking you were an afterthought except us. You were a team that was always one unit and always stayed one just like us. The difference is we have always been one unit and always trained as one unit. You came together through combat. We were always together all our lives through the most brutal wars to the most harsh conditions. Nothing broke us up or even came close to breaking our team and nothing will."
(Niko pats Dominicus's head.)
Niko: "You must have used that time travelling device of yours just to come to that conclusion and thought you were going to fool us. To bad you didn't expect the possibility that we changed that all around and caught you off guard. Imagine that Timeless. You drew an opponent that can actually catch you off guard for a change.
You see we aren't The Bastards or these Marsupials or whoever they call themselves and aren't any of these other so-called teams. We are The Dark Stars and we
aren't foolish enough to take things lightly. We know how tough you are Prime Time and we know you want another shot at the NPW Imperial Crown Championships."
(Dominicus barks and Niko looks and sees a sasquatch as the Corgi snarls and Niko calms him down.)
Niko: "He's not a threat so don't threaten him and we won't threaten us."
The Corgi barks.)
Niko: "No he isn't. Now where was I. Timeless we also want a shot at those NPW Imperial Crown Tag Team Championships. So it's going to be quite interesting who wants the championship shot even more. Who's truly hungry enough for those tag team title shots. Well we're going to see who does and that's going to be The Dark Stars. Imagine two teams that love to take the low road stepping into the ring in a little over one week to see who faces those idiots that hold the NPW Imperial Crown Tag Team Championships. From the opening bell to the final bell and announcement it's going to be a war in the ring and we're going to see who gets that future shot at those championships. It's going to be interesting isn't it."
(Niko turns the Corgi around and they start heading back to the toxic waste plant headquarters.)
Niko: "Yeah make fun of the fact Kono helped liberate our son's school from a bunch of scum. The authorities didn't appreciate that but apparently the parents did and we didn't even want the glory but we accepted it for being heroic. We aren't even heroes either but fate has a way of doing things unexpected. However we know nothing is going to be heroic when we step into the ring. We'll be ready for you Prime Time and when it's all said and done The Dark Stars shall be rising above everyone else. That includes you."
(He enters the complex and goes through the corridor and the Corgi reenters it's container room as the scene slowly fades to black.)
