Steve Awesome won the Northern Openweight Championship in September, and has noticed an uptick in competitors looking to challenge him for the coveted championship. Ronnie Long has been on a roll as of late, and has earned himself a championship opportunity . For Ronnie's sake, let's hope he's able to settle any lingering issues from his past so he can focus on the present. Daeriq Damien seems intent on reviving a version of Ronnie Long that he swears died along time ago. We just saw Damien meddling in Ronnie's professional life at the last show and during the build up. He's certainly a wild card. As for Steve Awesome - the man clearly craves the spotlight and has an opportunity to take down a former world champion in his first title defence.

The KGB Death Squad interjected themselves in Marsupial business recently, and they haven't forgotten. The theme of the show is the Great Northern War. So, why not let these six men tear each other apart all over the arena? The first person to score a pinball or submission will secure the win for their team.

These four men are no strangers to one and other. The Dark Stars picked up a crucial win over Prime Time last time out, and seem intent on challenging the Bastards for The Imperial Crown Tag Team Championships in the near future. Niko is responsible for some of the inner struggles that Jay Stevens faced recently. Niko was the one who assisted Jay in defeated Lord Dominicus for the North American Cruiserweight Championship. The victory felt tainted, and Jay is looking to avenge this situation at The Great Northern War. Jay has enlisted the services of the returning; Leon Van Zandt. These two men along with Dusty Griffith were responsible for running 'Bloodline' out of Northern Pro Wrestling and have kept a friendship ever since. Grudges will be settled!

Eddie Havok is undefeated in Northern Pro Wrestling, and is searching for opportunities to position himself for future championship opportunities. Alex Turner has been with Northern Pro through thick and thin, and has experienced a recent slide. If we know anything about Turner, we know that he's always game and always looking for a scrap. Matsui is fresh off a victory over Jesse Jamester, and seems to be finding his groove within the promotion. This should be a good one.
